When things go wrong they go wrong big…

When things go wrong they go wrong big time!
For my wife’s 80th birthday our daughter order a fortnightly delivery of flowers for one year - not cheap!
All worked well until the designated delivery at a specified time did not arrive. The flowers eventually arrive over 3 days late looking distinctly tired and crushed. We had left messages with Flowebx ( recorded message said someone would be in touch shortly) - nothing happened!
Sent email with our name and delivery address - Flowerbx could not find find us on their system. We had to provide details of originator of order. Eventually Flowerbx agreed to replace flowers - these did not arrive at designated time despite reassurance from Flowerbx. Flowers eventually arrived looking terrible. Sent photo to Fowerbx requesting that they communicate directly with us the recipient.
Flowerbx confusingly contacted order originator. Nightmare!

Thank you for providing more information so I can locate your account.

I'm terribly sorry for the trouble you've had here, it's certainly not the experience we wish to provide. I've looked into what has happened, and it seems our courier partner, DPD, has delayed your parcel due to circumstances outside our control.

As you mention, we then sent a replacement bunch of flowers which arrived on the specified date, but after the estimated time window provided by DPD. Please note we cannot control the time window provided, this is an estimate provided by DPD and can be affected by many different factors as they complete deliveries throughout the day.

In addition to the replacement flowers, we have also issued a gift card, so you are able to choose something else from our site to enjoy.

Lastly, I was disappointed to hear we haven't been responsive to your emails. I have checked our system and can see we have exchanged over 25 emails with your wife and daughter over the last 10 days, the most recent email being sent at 3pm today with instructions on how to redeem the gift card.

I will email you directly now Peter, as I would like to hear how else we can rectify this situation.

Sadly the flowers didn’t make it…

Sadly the flowers didn’t make it through the journey very well but the customer service was very good and they gave me a full refund for the flowers. The vase I ordered was perfect though and with their willingness to resolve the issue, I feel confident enough to try them again in the future on another occasion

Unreliable and unresponsive

Nice flowers, but impossible to contact by phone, and email replies are sketchy. Delivery instructions are requested, but are not followed. My instructions to call before delivery (to be sure recipient was at home) were not followed, and the flowers were handed over to unknown persons at the address.

Not good value for money

I was sent a gift card for three months worth of flowers. I know that this was an expensive present. However the flowers were no better than those I could buy at a local supermarket for a fraction of the price.

Shockingly slow customer service

The flowers was supposed to be delivered the day before my sister wedding and 5 days later… we are still waiting! Shockingly slow customer service responses considering the price! Not the right company if you’re looking for a meaningful present.

Disappointed …

Flowers were well packaged and arrived on time but unfortunately they were nothing like the photo. I know and fully understand that photos are only a guidance but as I had bought them as a gift must admit I was disappointed. They were a beautiful red in the photo but were actually a ‘strange shade of orange’ . Now in the bin as they didn’t last too well either . I hate writing bad reviews so don’t be put off I may have just been unlucky .

FLOWERBX are incredible - really!

I have had an amazing experience having contacted FLOWERBX! I sought advice when the end flowers of some of my fabulous cut orchids were dropping. They had arrived in perfect, breathtaking condition and I had missed a vital part of care for them but FLOWERBX insisted I had a replacement to be sure there wasn’t a ‘quality’ issue - but there wasn’t as they had been perfect! It is incredible to receive such exceptional customer service and I would urge anyone to use the company, not only because it offers beautiful choices, but because the people there are authentic and very, very kind.

I had an exceptional experience with Flowerbx and its outstanding customer service. When I placed an order for flowers, I had a specific request for an earlier delivery date than what was available on their website calendar. To my surprise and delight, Flowerbx went above and beyond by moving my delivery two days ahead. This gesture was greatly appreciated, especially because it was for a birthday celebration.
