Do not trust this insurer!!!
This is a company without any scruples whatsoever and extremely poor customer service. My daughter tried to request proof of no claims after her first year of insurance and to cancel the policy. She was advised to call back after the year had ended. In doing so she was then advised that there would be a cancelation fee! Now 2 weeks later they are refusing to issue the proof of no claims and have had the cheek to extend a credit agreement in my name and not the policyholders without any authority whilst they listen to tapes of a conversation. Absolutely unbelievable!

I've remained insured with Adrian Flux for around the last 4 years or so, and I've always managed to get the level of insurance needed at the cheapest price in the market vs the normal comparison sites. I had great service over the phone today from Tasha in the renewals team who helped me to save an additional £20 on my policy during the phone call. Very happy!

absolutely terrible, constantly threatening to cancel my policy over black box issues, when i already told them my car was broke! They said it was 'fine', then proceeded to tell me theyll cancel my policy. And also they were chsrging me more through lockdown, so while other companies were bending over backwards during the crisis flux direct were trying to rinse their customers for all they could get! Id rather walk than drive under their insurance again, absolutely terrible

Absolutely disgusting I had taken out learner insurance and paid it by a monthly agreement with the lady on the phone which they should have record ! son was supposed to have test March but covid struck so no driving at all !!! as we was in lockdown!!! They renew the insurance for another year and say they have a signed agreement I think NOT as I’m the one that can only excess the email they have also it’s learner insurance which I piad as and when but they suggest I pay the remaining balance as we took out another year why would we take another year for a leaner that was ready for a test in March but was cancelled due to the covid situation disgusting!!!!! There fault but no they have sent it to the debt recovery have emailed phoned but all they say is we only have this email or no record of call absolutely rubbish I just kept getting the same thing I have to pay for the year so I contacted the insurance ombudsman I also had told them what I did but still here nothing no letter phone call nothing absolutely rubbish I myself have been driving 29 years never had a problem with any insurance get this learner for son at 17 and OMG all I can say is they rip you off and just don’t care about the person disgusting company

Fine until you have to cancel your insurance. My daughter had a policy that had run for less than 2 months when it became necessary to cancel. I was expecting a £50 or £75 admin fee. To my amazement the £47.59 per month policy cost a staggering £226.50 to cancel. Unlike most Insurance companies they are not licensed credit brokers, they purchase the policy upfront and pass the full whack of cancellation onto you. Had I known this from the start I would have purchased elsewhere. The cancellation fee is approximately 40% of the total policy price, this cannot be considered reasonable can it?
Please be careful you don't get caught out, this should be illegal !!!

Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service. I wasn't able to scan and attach paperwork necessary for my policy and only had access of my policy through my phone. Phoned and got put through to Emma and she was brilliant. Asked all the security questions and was happy to accept verbal confirmation of the details required. All sorted in less than 5 minutes.

This company has taken extortion to another level. This is a very honest review, i had the most terrible experience ever till date. After paying the full policy premium until Jan 2021 with an agreed smart box to track mileage, i had to downsize due to Covid and when requested to move my insurance to the new car, was told i cannot do it and have to cancel and have a new one for the new car. Surprise Surprise !!! they decided to charge me cancellation fess plus admin fee which in return gave me a measly £17.41. Take 5 months of premium as a parting gift from me . This is after i paid another £96 on 2/08/2020 still within 28 days, to increase mileage limit never used. No wonder Flux Direct is making a profit by bleeding their customers dry!!!!!!!. You are warned... never ever consider these penny suckers. I will stick with Elephant as they were reasonable and flexible in a similar situation few years back. Thank you for Covid rip off, sleep tight.

Great company
My partner has been with Flux Direct since passing her test in 2017. First two years were with a black box, both years were cheaper than other companies we had looked at. Never had any issues with customer service, staff are always very polite and easy to talk to. National Windscreens were great, so friendly and quick(!), when the back window of the car had been smashed by a truck, with Flux being very understanding and helpful with everything we had to do. Will definitely be renewing the policy at the start of next year, and going with Flux myself when I learn to drive ☺️

Ok, so initially I complained about Flux direct and gave a bit of a damning review. I was then contacted by Amy from Flux direct and she arranged a partial refund and also added some exrtra mileage to the policy free of charge. As I had said, it's not the call handlers that were the problem, it's the insurance company that make it difficult, but ultimately, I feel that I was listened to and got a good result. I still feel that insurers shouldn't be charging extra for mileage used on vehicles, but I guess that's the way it is now.

I WOULD LIKE MAKE AN AWARE, DO NOT BUY insurance from FLUX Direct they are the worst insurance company I have ever faced. I took this insurance with Black box fitting terms they kept on sending warning threat cancelling of insurance even at the ordinary everyday driving situation.
I took insurance on 6th July cancelled on 16th July. It costs me £434, which includes a black box.
Its customer service Sh**t. For new insurance, it cost me £164 total in one month £598, which is equal to one-year insurance. GUYS DO NOT GO FOR FLUX DIRECT INSURANCE.
I have just made the full payment. I will not allow this insurance to abuse the system; this is extortion. I will continue in all social media until this company comes back to me.

I wrote a review previously but magically it has been removed, probably by "Simon' who probably does not exist but is probably one of the cowards hiding behind a keyboard.
My son had a policy with these people and had to cancel it due to changing his car. He was told he would be given a refund of £90 and the policy was cancelled. 2 months later he received a threatening email saying he owed £148 as a direct debit at the time did not go through. Odd as the policy was cancelled prior to the due date of the DD. The email threatened using a debt collection agency. This was sent to a 17 year old. It is not legally possible for a 17 year old to have credit so the threatening emails should have been sent to an adult who is not intimidated by these cowards behind a keyboard. Several emails later the cowards still wouldn't confirm who actually owed the "debt" and took the money directly from my sons bank account as he had paid the initial deposit. I am sure this is illegal and I am sure the cowardly Simon will be on here apologising, but in reality trying to find out my sons details so he can remove this comment. Hopefully enough people are put off by this and other comments so this nasty cowardly outfit don't pick up any new business.

Latest email from this company telling me a debt collection agency will be chasing me for the money they say I owe!
To recap- initial agreement made on monthly installments, this was then revoked. I requested insurance to then be cancelled- ONLY 11 DAYS OF INSURANCE) they kept my £60 pound initial fee and demanded a further £174! - all that for 11 days of insurance . They say its to do with a smart box which i have offered to send back unused with all original labelling still attached but tell me since I opened the package when delivered it cannot be returned!!! Worst insurers I've ever came across and now threatening me with a dept collection agency. If the mafia done insurance it would be in the guise of these guys......only if they cease this nonsense then I will stop these reviews and remove them.

Rang adrian flux to cancel my insurance sold vehicle they told me i would only get £15. 20 refund after so called cancellation charges another words somebody presses a few buttons on computer and charge me aprox £100 my insurance runs out 7/12/ 20 my cost of insurance was aprox £285. cancelling it monday 12/7/20 nearly 5months remaining how can they justified such penalty RIP OFF

So Flux direct have done nothing for my daughters situation, and after much investigation on my part, I have found out that they do this to young drivers a lot. I have cancelled the policy before they did, at great cost, and I have re insured with Admiral, who were great.
Lesson learnt, and court action pending, something has got to be done to stop this blackmail of young drivers.
FYI Simon, whilst your staff said that they would refund £406.00 what they actually paid me back was £362.04 !

14days gone and £90 I had to pay…
14days gone and £90 I had to pay towards my windscreen replacement, no concrete word from FluxDirect or National windscreen. My vehicle is still unsafe, I've cancelled jobs and lost money due to to the fact that I haven't been mobile for 14days now. I reported this damage on the 22nd of may and today is the 5th of June, 14days to order and replace a windscreen and Will I get any form of compensation? I doubt it.
