Overall I had an OK experience with Norse. The flight was 6h late, waiting on the plane, for an 11h trip. I was told I could get compensation. I made a claim and sent them another email after not he... See more

Rude customer service
Oh my God, this company is a scam! I have never had such a rude customer service operator like that. He constantly interrupted me. Their website shows one price, but when you try to book a ticket, it shows a different price. That is how this scam company works. When I mentioned this to the absolutely rude guy on the phone, he kept interrupting me and told me I had no idea how airline booking works. When I told him I would leave a bad review, he said they have control over all their reviews. Definitely low-cost behavior! I would never deal with this shady company.
Inhuman staff
Inhuman staff. This airline has nothing to do with Scandinavian values. This ultra low budget airline is the meanest in the world and made me throw part of my luggage away before I could get my boarding pass. There are blue metal structures you are told to put your carry-on luggage in, to check that it is an acceptable size but these metal structures aren’t relative to any normal type of luggage. I even saw one woman’s tiny make-up bag being weighed. And upon boarding the plane, the cabin crew wouldn’t stow my motorcycle helmet, which on their website says, they will take care of. Lots of empty seats on plane, so I could have kept my luggage that was thrown away, as the plane could easily carry more weight. The plane was very dirty, stains in the floor carpets, stains on the seats, old brought on snacks on floor from previous flight, and not even an offer of a glass of water during the 8.5 hour flight. No food obviously, and looked down at by cabin crew. Will never fly again with these disgusting misers. I recommend anyone reading this, pay extra with an established airline to be treated with respect, and have a meal and drinks. This is pretty similar to how animals are treated going for slaughter. (In Orlando I asked to speak with manager who appeared scruffy and with incredibly greasy hair half an hour later and who treated me like I was a criminal). I’m amazed these people can manage to get the plane off the ground as they have no idea about anything else.
changes and canceled flight.

Unfortunately I will not be using this airline ever again, they have refused to reimbursed me for my refund.
They don’t respond to emails at all, just honestly terrible all around.

Cancelled my flight to New York from London , 5 months on
No refunds
No one got in touch even when they say the will
No email Back
It’s money that I worked for , you canceled the flight and you keep the money ??
DO NOT FLY WITH NORSE!!!
I booked a rt flight between NYC& Rome at a low fare. Roughly 2 weeks after I booked it, Norse cancelled the return flight. They didn't rebook me or offer alternatives. IN order to cancel the trip and recieve a refund, you must go through a very confusing process of either receiving a travel credit or refund. If I chose to rebook the return home, I was responsible for the increased fares. Receiving the refund involved completing multiple claims to Norse, and they will not process the claims or any potential refund for 6-8 weeks. It's ridiculous.
There is no customer service. There is only an AI chatbot, that has basic scripted responses. Anything it cannot handle involving judgement, is escalated to it's 'colleagues'. There has been no follow up on several escalated items the AI bot escalated to it's colleagues after nearly a week.
Cheap fares - but the customer service and follow up is a nightmare - a really bad one. Stay away.
On February 20th my flight and my…
On February 20th my flight and my mothers flight to new york was delayed by 5 hours. She is 87 it was very distressful. Norse provided food vouchers only. On their email correspondence they said customers are to put in a claim for the inconvenience. I did so and the only rsponse received was that someone will be in touch shortly. Today is April 2nd. That is so dishonest of them while they bombard me with flight deals. Only fly with Norse if you absolutely need to.
This has been one of the most frustrating and unacceptable travel experiences I have ever had.
My flights were arbitrarily changed three times to different dates, without any valid explanation or prior consultation. Repeated attempts to communicate were ignored, leaving me without support while my travel plans were being disrupted.
As a direct consequence, I incurred financial losses from non-refundable hotels and pre-booked activities. These damages were caused solely by the airline’s actions.
I have requested a full refund, which remains outstanding, with no clear timeline or accountability.
This behavior reflects a serious lack of professionalism, transparency, and respect toward customers. Such practices are not only unacceptable but raise concerns about compliance with basic consumer protection standards.
I expect immediate resolution of the refund and a proper response addressing this matter.
Have changed both our departing and…
Have changed both our departing and return flights to a different day and aren’t offering a full refund, only partial. No way of calling, only a useless chat bot. Needless to say, we will absolutely never fly with Norse again. Awful how a company can operate so poorly.
Worse customer service experience I've ever had
Avoid Norse Atlantic Airways if you expect any level of customer service.
I booked return flights from London to New York, but unfortunately my partner had to undergo kidney stone surgery shortly before our trip. We have a valid medical note confirming she was unfit to fly, so I attempted to cancel the booking.
Norse Atlantic has no customer service phone line, so the only option is their chatbot. I contacted them three separate times and was told on each occasion that someone would follow up by email. No one ever did.
We are not talking about a casual cancellation — this was a genuine medical situation supported by a doctor’s note. The complete lack of response is unacceptable and shows a total disregard for customers dealing with difficult circumstances.
At this point, I have no choice but to escalate the matter through a chargeback, a formal complaint to the Civil Aviation Authority, and potentially legal action.
If Norse Atlantic Airways is reading this, I urge you to respond and resolve this properly.
Booking reference available if needed.
Norse cancelled our flight
Norse cancelled our flight. We do not accept the change (leaving a day late to Athens and returning a day late). Cannot get their site to (1) Reject the change and (2) Issue a full refund.
This airline is a joke.
Zero customer service.
Good luck if you use them.
Damaged luggage No customer service
I am still waiting on ANY reply from Norse regards damaged luggage and compensation for a new suitcase from our holiday in January. We have no response to any of our emails :(
Cancelled our transatlantic flights for no reason and horrible customer service
They cancelled out flight from NY to Rome 1 month in advance without any explanation. We called and asked for a reason and they gave us some BS reason that it was due to the rising conflicts in the middle east. Well why did you only cancel flights on that 1 day then instead of all of them... No alternative flights were offered through their airline. We spoke with customer service who was not helpful at all. Told us the wrong information such as the flight was not refundable after we asked him for options on alternative flights. Also decided to have a power trip and hung up on us because we told him that the information he told us was wrong (which really, it was). Horrible customer service who escalates and gaslights and tries to direct you to more expensive flights within their network for financial gains. I will never fly with them again and I hope this is a warning to all. Their customer service was so shady and rude. That alone, doesnt make it worth trying to have a flight experience with them
Abysmal airline
I’m not normally one to leave a review but this airline is the worst I have ever experienced. Flight was cancelled and changed to 2 days later than when our hotel was booked for. Claimed they emailed me even though I received 0 communication from them. I discovered this for myself after checking my outgoing flight details! I’ve put in a claim for compensation as we had to book a hotel for another 2 nights plus additional living expenses we obviously weren’t expecting. This was over 2 months ago and I haven’t heard anything from them despite trying to contact several times via their awful AI bot. Avoid at all costs! Saving a few £ isn’t worth it if you can help it.
Dreaded Cancellation...
I thought that we wouldn't have our flight cancelled and it's just a random occurrence, so booked the flight with Norse. Well such luck, as per all the other reviews here, Norse cancelled our flight... they did offer a much shorter holiday, but we've already booked hotels, cars, parking etc... It was easier to accept their offer of cancellation, never had a flight cancelled before, so booked with BA instead...
Rubbish
Rubbish - move your flight by a whole day and then make it impossible to get a refund. Cheap for a reason, avoid avoid
Most unreliable air company ever!
Most unreliable air company ever!! We had a long planned 6 day trip to London planned. Without notice, Norse Air moved the departure day one day early, and the return date one day later, thus adding 2 unwanted days to our trip. Many things had to be changed, not the least approx $2000 additional costs. I have flown over 2500 flights during my life, and have never experienced anything like this. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE PHONE NUMBER....only useless AI!!!
They have cancelled my flight
They have cancelled my flight , i am trying to get a full refund but i am going round in circles, they do not have phone lines only a chat box. I follow there instruction for a refund but its not working just keeps looping back to the beginning. Do not use. its not worth the stress. Now i am in a mess trying to sort out new plans for my travels. i just want to speak to somebody. Frustrating !!!!!!!!
Worst Experience- AVOID
A groups of us booked flights with Norse on 26 December 2025. It was our first time using them, but knew a few friends that had travelled with them without any problems.
On 31 January 2026, we received emails saying our flight details had been changed, bringing my return journey forward by one day and effectively shortening the holiday. While we weren’t happy about this, it didn’t completely disrupt our plans, so we decided to accept the change.
However, on 31 March 2026, we received yet another email notification that the flight details had been changed again—this time far more significantly. The departure flight was moved two days later, and the return flight was brought forward by an additional day. Massively disrupting our holiday plans and making the trip unworkable.
As a result, we had no choice but to cancel the booking, request a refund, and rebook with another airline—at a significantly higher cost than if we had originally booked elsewhere in December.
I am extremely disappointed with the service. There is no accessible customer support or contact number to speak to anyone, which only adds to the frustration.
My advice: save your TIME, MONEY, and avoid the STRESS—avoid Norse Atlantic Airways!!
Do not fly with Norse airways!
Do not fly with Norse airways!
They are the worst airline I’ve ever flown with, they charge you for everything, trying to rinse you of every penny you’ve got! Even charging £7.50 for a pathetic thin blanket, not a single offer of water or food! On the way home we were a family of 3 checking in together and they charged us for extra luggage weight of 2 pounds between 3 cases bearing in mind we didn’t have the 10 kilos hand luggage each that was included with our flight, so we asked if we could take the 2 pounds out of the case and put it in our hand bags to be rudely told “NO get to the back of the line if you want to do that”! We’d already stood in the line for an hour and half so if we’d have done that we’d have missed the check in and flight, so we had no choice but to pay the $70 fee! The staff are so dam rude, no one cares about the passengers being happy, it’s a disgraceful company, I will vow never to fly witn Norse again as long as I live!
