I had a training session with Adam Hamilton for the Horizon phone system. Adam was great, really informative and super helpful. He helped out with so much more than I expected and spent time after the meeting tidying up our system and helping to make it as efficient as possible.

We are a small charity that decided to consolidate our broadband and landlines with Focus last year, after a positive experience with their cybersecurity support over the last few years. Prior to being with Focus we had issues with our phone system, however Focus helped us to install full-fibre and we have had no issues since. Chantelle and Cameron have supported us at every step of the way and are always easy to contact when we need help. They have also shown a genuine care for the values of our charity which means a lot to us, and are always personable in interactions. We have also been linked with the FocusFoundation which we are very excited about. Thank you Focus team.

Avoid avoid avoid!
Absolutely terrible experience.
They added additional services to my account without consent, twice!
Fees increased by a huge amount throughout the term.
When I tried to leave at the end of my lease, they demanded an absolutely astronomical early termination fee.
Focus group will absolutely try to rip you off, stay well away.

Horizon SIP PBX/System Training
Was provided training by Adam Hamilton on setup/config for our Horizon phones. This enables us to make minor changes ourselves. Adam was great, tailored his training to his target audience, immediately grasped our setup and requirements and ensured that I received all the training appropriate. I have increased confidence in any future business support needs in the future because of this interaction.

Had some onsite training yesterday with Irene Wilson, following a rather poor experience before Christmas with another member of team, my faith in what was SWC and now Focus was restored, her manner, knowledge and desire to help was exceptional. Very refreshing that in this world of tech someone can still be personable at the same time as delivering some much needed training.

Onboarded with Focus IT 02/03/2026 with the process taking approximately 2 months.
Progress was slow in the beginning and we had a bit of a false start with our initial project manager. Alarm bells started ringing at this stage so we reached out to Leon, who helped resolve the situation quickly.
We were then moved over to the newly created onboarding team. We first received a call from Ben, who apologised for the slow start and assured us things would start to speed up. We then received an email from Josh that day to start information gathering.
From this point onwards the pace picked up considerably. Josh and Ben did a fantastic job at asking the right questions, working with our in house team & incumbent provider, and keeping us informed with progress to ensure a smooth transition. Any challenges were dealt with without falter or concern and we found this incredibly reassuring throughout the process.
The switchover from our previous MSP to Focus IT came and went without any real issue. And the post transition hypercare to mop up any outstanding actions and raise any concerns(albeit there haven't been any so far) has been useful without feeling coddled.
5 stars would certainly have been generous in the beginning of the process. But the way Focus -specifically the new team we dealt with - responded to our concerns and dealt with them swiftly from that point on has definitely been 5 star service.

Great experience going from an old telephone system to a Cloud based one. From start to finish the experience was very professional and seamless. The attention we received from Tim Hardy our client relationship manager, Simon Penney our remote delivery co-ordinator and Robbie Holland from the customer success team, was amazing. We recently moved over to Focus for all our phone requirements (VOIP & Mobile) The service was amazing, kept up to date with what was going on, the onsite engineer and trainer were both excellent, and worked with us to ensure the whole team were comfortable with the new system. A big shout out to Mitch Tuff on the mobile side, he took over dealing with our previous provider as they were very unhelpful, taking a big stress factor off my desk and resolving it on my behalf.

I recently took part in the Focus Group Training with Adam Hamilton and found it to be a really positive experience. The session was very informative and provided a clear understanding of how focus groups work and how to take part in them effectively.
Adam was excellent at explaining everything and took the time to talk things through in a way that was easy to understand. He encouraged discussion and made sure everyone felt comfortable asking questions or sharing their thoughts. This made the training feel very supportive and engaging.
Overall, the training was extremely helpful and well delivered. Adam is a great facilitator and made the session both enjoyable and informative.
