I was excited to get account with this…

I was excited to get account with this “company” but the app glitched out on the ID request. This was out of my control but they decided to penalize me because of their glitch. I have been denied access to service and the account.

Held captive and forced to delate pictures

Awful experience. At the door they take picture of you, they not let you in without showing your id or passport, but its not border control. They have security standing at the toilet and dedicating who can go to toilet. I was held captive and forced to remove pictures of my friend dj bcse its against their policy. They have no right to force anyone to remove their pictures or hold in room forcefully.

I see a bunch of bad reviews about FOLD…

I see a bunch of bad reviews about FOLD but I have had nothing but positive experience with it. I can only assume that those filing bad reviews had some technical problem related to a user error. I've been using the FOLD app and FOLD card for about a year now with not one issue. It works great!

they suck I would tell evferone to stay away from them. I had done nothing wrong accept to update a cell number due to a primary phone damage and needed to update to the secondary number. they said they would and now all they did is close my account. they can go f themselves

This company has very bad customer…

This company has very bad customer support. I’ve had direct deposit there since June. Try to withdraw it can’t. Try to purchase bitcoin can’t. Try to transfer funds can’t. Try to use my card can’t. Try to add fold account to my other bank can’t. I submit verification document and still no update no respond just that it’s been escalated. I was told to informed them when I send the document and still not update. At this point I just want my money and close my account. I’ve been trying to get in contact with someone and still no help no update.

My BTC balance suddenly shows ZERO on the Fold App. I discovered this when my weekly direct to BTC auto purchase failed last nIght.
It’s the weekend, so I’ll let you know what support says Monday….
I don’t need this after being a Celsius victim. Geeez! WTF!

Another company failing at KYC verification

Another company that executes KYC poorly. I have multiple validated KYC accounts with banks, brokerage firms, and other crypto spaces. I use the info already printed on my US "real ID"--you know, the new state driver's license that supposed to work as a federal ID for entering federal/state buildings and boarding US national flights. Same address. Same name. Same info as on my US passport, social security card, and tax forms. But Fold App couldn't verify my identity. What was customer service's suggestion after waiting about 3 days to hear back from them? To re-enter my data into Fold App. This led to an immediate message: "We're sorry. We cannot open a Fold account for you at this time. For security reasons, we are unable to provide you with further details." I thought the US had done away with this draconian de-banking, denying financial services opportunities to otherwise perfectly legally-compliant US citizens. Is it legal to deny financial services without providing any reason? Seems arbitrary and discriminatory.

Yet another KYC failure.

Updating my review. It doesn't need to be so long and detailed. I just didn't have a good experience. I'm sure by now. This app has thousands upon thousands of users. Hopefully their review score gets better.

Fold takes back accounts without permission

They have you set up to earn bitcoin various ways. Later they deny access to your account. This action prompts you to uninstall and reinstall your account truing to reset it. Once thats done the newest account is all you have access to. They take the higher point account and make it go MIA. It appears they are scamming

Poor support service

I have been using this product/service for more than 2 years. I thoroughly enjoyed it so much, until about 2-3 months ago, they partnered with BitGo. Everything went wrong, especially with purchasing Bitcoin. The transactions were delayed. Communicating with support has been very, very slow. Details in the ticket were clearly explained and yet, they keep misunderstanding the issues. Everything went downhill, to the point I am about to resort to use another platform due to poor service.

Rampet fraud is absurd

Rampet fraud is absurd, and disputing it is ridiculous. The BTC aspect is cool, but I recommend using CASHAPP and just having the round up to BTC option and I have never had a problem with them, but FOLD consistently charged me almost monthly for unauthorized charges to weird $hit like aquariums in New Jersey while I am in South Dakota. Give me a break they really are awful.

Rewards cut in half

They cut rewards in half. Not worth the effort. They refused to refund my spin plus annual fee of $100 after using it only 3 months.

So now, instead of correcting their bad service, Trustpilot has contacting me trying to remove the review...just more signs of why you should avoid "Fold".

They are forcing Logouts so you have to forfeit your sats

I have been spinning everyday for Sats since 2021. I had accumulated 24k in sats. Then I clicked on the Fold card to get more information and my app got stuck on a page. I had to log back in. After reseting my username and password...I finally got in to find zero Sats. When I reached out to their customer service they told me that i had somehow created a second account which is a violation of the terms of agreement and automatically forfeits all my sats.

I couldn't remember which username I used to open the account and was stuck on a pop up that wouldn't go away.

It's only $6...,but it's the principal. I don't recommend this app.

Scam alert!

I "deposited" $400 from a 20 year old BofA account so I could start to use their app and I also requested their card. The money was taken out of my account but I lost access to the app. No reason given from the app. The card was never sent to me. I submitted a ticket and they said my account was suspended but didn't give a reason. They gave me a long list of things I had to give them like selfies with the date somehow shown (who gets a newspaper anymore?), biometrics, mortgage info, etc.. I refused to jump through their hoops and requested my money back. They stopped answering my emails. There's NO phone number to call! I thought that was illegal for financial institutions but somehow they're doing it. I found three different cities which they are supposedly from which is curious. All this makes me think they are a fully scam company. Now I'm out $400 and I have absolutely no recourse. What a sham!

Very Bad Customer Service

Very Bad Customer Service - Don't Use.

Needed (and still need as no follow up yet) a simple change on my account. Put in a ticket, sent my info and heard nothing. They eventually closed my ticket without addressing my concern. To make a long story short, I put in multiple tickets and have been waiting over 4 weeks. Worst customer service I'd ever experienced.

I had my federal tax refund sent to the…

I had my federal tax refund sent to the card and I can't activate my card, after the deposit was sent they restricted my account access and now I can't seem to get in contact with anyone going on two weeks since I sent in all the identifying documents and then some and still no response and I have no access to my tax refund. Worst thing I ever did. It cost me my place of living and job I am so screwed from this company.

Fold Took More Than They Gave

I had paid for the Fold card membership and used it quite a bit when they had the option of buying Amazon cards. But once they stopped having the Amazon option there wasn't a motivation for me to use it much. Little did I know but they had started charging me a monthly fee for non regular use, that went on for a while without me knowing until they depleted my Fold debit card account of the funds I had deposited. Not very enticing for a customer.
