Beautiful books
We publish exquisitely produced new editions of already published works, with some exclusive anthologies and short story collections. The books we select for publication are timeless – we know they will be enjoyed and appreciated now and in the future. Because each book is considered as an individual object of value in its own right, there is a variety to our design and style – the only uniformity is in the quality of every single edition.
Folio books make wonderful gifts for readers of all ages. Our editions range from the classic fiction to fantasy; science fiction to ancient and modern history; gothic tales to science – there is something for everyone. Please visit our website to see our current collection.

When the shipper damaged the book I ordered I contacted The Folio Society to explain what happened. This was going to be graduation gift for my granddaughter. They immediately shipped me a replacement book which arrived in perfect condition.
I really appreciated the help and prompt service I got from The Folio Society. Highly recommend this company for their quality books and their excellent customer service. Don't know which company was used to actually deliver the book but they did a terrible job. The book was soaked and could not be used as a graduation present. Can't say enough good things about The Folio Society.

Quality books and great customer service!
I love these editions. They are gorgeous products -- quality paper, and the illustrations are always really fitting for the story. The books are packed well, and they use recyclable materials (yay!). Customer service is first rate as well. They are responsive to inquiries and personable.

Only loses a star because sometimes the pricing doesn't make sense. Things are put up as limited, but then will bring them back as permanent books.

The Master and Margarita
The Folio Society has long maintained a reputation for elevating the act of reading into something genuinely archival, and their edition of Mikhail Bulgakov’s “The Master and Margarita” perfectly exemplifies this commitment to excellence. From the physical manifestation of the book to the meticulous nature of its dispatch, the entire acquisition process was flawless.
The volume itself is a triumph of book production. The binding is both robust and aesthetically compelling, capturing the surreal, gothic, and satirical undercurrents of Bulgakov’s masterpiece. Internally, the typography and paper quality reflect a conscientious devotion to traditional publishing standards; the weight of the paper and the clarity of the typeface ensure an exceptionally comfortable and immersive reading experience. It is a stunning addition to any library, functioning simultaneously as a piece of fine art and a durable literary artefact.
Furthermore, the care extended to the physical presentation of the book is mirrored in the company’s exemplary fulfillment process. The parcel arrived impeccably secured, ensuring that the pristine condition of the volume was preserved during transit. It was noted with distinct appreciation that the order was carefully packed by Monika, a personal touch that underscores The Folio Society’s admirable commitment to individual accountability and attention to detail. In an era dominated by automated, impersonal logistics, such conscientious craftsmanship is exceedingly rare.
Ultimately, this edition of “The Master and Margarita” is an absolute delight. A rare find for a collector. The Folio Society continues to demonstrate that they do not merely sell books, rather, they curate experiences for the discerning bibliophile. For those who value the intersection of literary genius and exquisite book design, this volume represents an unmitigated success, and the flawless service accompanying it only further cements the publisher's superlative standing.
The best in the classy publishing game!
