Products don't work, and they know it!

I purchased the Screen Recorder from this company after ensuring that my computer met the tech specs, only to have it refuse to work. I've been in contact with customer support for well over a month now, I've been fully co-operative with their requests for log files and error information, still no solution has been found, but all requests to have my money back have been refused as it's "clearly my computer with the problem". Given that my computer is up to date with the latest drivers and hardware, I find this very hard to believe. Instead of a refund, I've been offered a copy of any of their other software - a totally redundant offer if it's my computer that's incompatible, or rather, they know the Screen Recorder programme doesn't work and would prefer for me to use another programme that does work in the hopes that it'll placate me and get me to go away.
I'm not often moved to write a review but in this instance, I feel it necessary to warn others NOT TO USE THIS COMPANY. If you're one of the unlucky many to have a software fault, you'll be subjected to the same lengthy rigmarole that I've had to deal with. And don't expect them to stand by their refund policy, as I briefed myself on it prior to purchase and have since found out that even if you're within the parameters for refund, they'll start to make up extra stipulations to relieve themselves of the duty to give you your money back. They'll also start becoming erratic with messages, even going so far as to allege they sent emails that never got to you, to push you out of the 30 day window or perhaps frustrate you enough to give up entirely.
Terrible company, awful customer service, absolutely avoid like the plague.

I wish I had read these reviews before before downloading this app! I accidentally deleted pictures off my phone and tried to retrieve them with this app. I paid for the download and, in the instructions, it says it is not recommended to "root" if you have a Verizon or AT&T phone. The only way to retrieve deleted pictures is 1. The phone needs to be rooted and 2:lost data hasn't been overwritten by new content. Well, since they do not recommend rooting on a Verizon phone, which I have,I sent an email asking for a refund. I figure if the app developers themselves don't recommend it then they must know what they are talking about. This all transpired on Aug 12th and I am still trying to get a refund. I have been going back and forth with them. First they explained about the root system which I responded to that they themselves recommended not to do on a Verizon phone. Then they asked for the model of my phone to prove it was a verizon phone, which I did. Then i got an email that gave me a link to a site that would help me root the phone. That tutorial was sent 8/26, fourteen days after I sent the original email stating I couldn't use their app. The data had been overwritten by new content by 8/26 because they basically advised I couldn't use their app. I again asked for a refund to which I get a reply saying they offer a free trial and there I would have seen that the rooting step was needed. I wanted my pictures and chose to believe they could supply an app that would help me so I just bought it outright. STAY AWAY, especially if you are a Verizon or AT&T phone user.

Software that will regret

I hope that consumers can read the reviews here before purchasing the software of this company.
If your phone is broken, you can first look for free software or original repair software.
The software of this company is very expensive and there is still a lot of possibility that it cannot be repaired. My experience bought very expensive software can not be used, request a refund, the company's customer service Miss Emily will continue to grieve customers for various reasons, blaming the customer's problems and mobile phone manufacturers' problems, is not a problem with Fonepaw. So I don't understand the value of this company's paid software?
I debated it for a long time before getting a partial refund, not the full amount. And did not fix my phone.
If you really want to try the software of this company, please use PayPal's payment mechanism to get a full refund. I just downloaded FonePaw mac cleaner, to delete old files and restore disk space and the activation key they sent me doesn't even activate the product so I can't even use it. What a scam!

This product does not work- they say there is a delete duplicates and merge function which did not work and then after 100 try's it decided to go through the process and then after checking found that the duplicates were still there..i.e. does not work

Do not waste your time or money on this product- they should be ashamed of themselves for trying to scam us

Lucky for me I used PayPal for my payment to this rotten company, PayPal gave me a refund, my guess is they were unsuccessful getting answers from them. It was a good thing I had a copy of an email requesting a refund from the company with no response. Thank you PayPal, you rock!

Highly recommend FonePaw iOS System…

Highly recommend FonePaw iOS System Recovery. My iPhone was stuck and failed to start up, but I had problem restoring my phone with iTunes. Thanks to iOS System Recovery, I restored my iPhone and got my data back. This software is not difficult to use. It makes phone recovering so simple! Really helpful.

I purchased the product and was unable to use it due to my phone type not being supported. I requested a refund and was denied. The person I spoke with claimed the phone types that are supported are clearly listed on the website... well not clear enough for me!! I looked all over that sight to make sure I wasnt wasting my money as a single mom with low income.... if this is your integrity level.. shame on you!! I will be TELLI NG EVERYONE not to use this! I have a big following on social media and I'll make sure they all are aware of the customer service and dishonesty here!

Not honest. Not transparent. Yes, that’s FonePaw

Perhaps FonePaw can learn how great companies treat customers from clues in this story. It’s June 2019 and one of my dearest friends is at the end of his life’s journey. For 3+ years my friend has lived with brain cancer - glioblastoma - the same type of cancer Sen. John McCain had. My friend lives his life and is facing death with dignity and grace. During his relatively short life, he has always treated people with respect, no matter their circumstance. His honesty for and transparency with his family and thousands of friends will endure long beyond his days on this earth. I am blessed to be on a core team of friends and family caring for him and raising $ for his medical bills and for his two teenage son’s college education. Recently, I purchased FonePaw to retrieve data and family photos from my dying friend’s Google phone. I purchased the product with the assurance that I was under a real 30-day trial. After multiple attempts (and help from tech support) I was unable to register the product for use. In fact, without registering, I never used the product. I kindly wrote and requested a refund. I thought that FonePaw’s 30 day trial meant just that - a 30 day trial. My request for a refund was denied. It is evident FonePaw does NOT value basic customer service. They refused to issue me a refund for a product I never used once. Maybe FonePaw can learn something from my dying friend. Look above at how I described my friend with brain cancer. Do not buy anything from FonePaw! It is a company that is not honest nor transparent (FonePaw promotes a 30-day trial while fully intending to stick it to you), especially if the product was never used.

I have accidently deleted all my pictures (2013-2019) from my Samsung smartphone last saturday.

"Free" software that you pay for and it doesnt work

First I downloaded your "free" software, then got tricked into paying for it to be able to restore the information onto my phone

Then when I restored my original phone, it did not restore all the pictures properly, no apps were there, and I was very unhappy. (1 year ago)

Then the next time I needed to use Fonepaw, my License was not valid as it said that it had already been used, yes! used to activate the software on this computer and it miraculously now doesn't work

Now I downloaded the full suite this morning so i could extract the data off my smashed phone and apparently this software doesn't support Samsung Galaxy S8...

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!

They will not refund your money if you are unsatisfied.

And unsatisfied I am with iPhone Backup and Restore, because it isn't working at all for backing up / restoring my Notes. And even if it was working, it still doesn't seem to be doing what it says, more something like an export to html kind of a thing.

I wish I had checked them out in TrustPilot before.
