Very disappointing experience with Foodpanda Pakistan. We ordered biryani that normally costs around Rs. 150 at the restaurant, but on Foodpanda it ended up costing almost Rs. 350 because of excessive charges and taxes. On top of that, riders expect tips from customers.
The food quality and quantity were both poor, despite the high price. Customers are paying much more and receiving less value in return. Foodpanda needs to seriously improve its pricing and service because right now it feels like customers are simply being overcharged.
Pathetic service
Pathetic service, they told me that I'll get free delivery plus 59%off on my first order, but they showed that my order was delivered , and the rider never bothered to contact me( if there was a rider, because they showed my order delivered without me receiving the order ) so they are blatant fraudsters

Absolutely abysmal service. They have no representative to call via phone or launch a complaint. Their help center is basically a pre written word garbage and you can do literally nothing incase the rider does not reply. The only reason food panda still works is beacuse they have no competition.

They charge a monthly fee and every single order is late and the food cold every single time I have spent thousands and thousands and this company just takes advantage. Foodpanda Pakistan has become an extremely unreliable platform. Almost every other day we order food and receive it completely cold, stale, and sometimes not even in edible condition. When we refuse the order because the food is not fit to eat, the riders are the ones left standing at our doors helpless, stressed, and even crying because they have no proper direct support from Foodpanda or the restaurants.
The entire burden falls on customers and riders while Foodpanda and restaurants stay protected. Riders are treated unfairly and customers are left frustrated with no proper solution. There is no easy or decent complaint system available. We waste time searching through the app trying to find a way to report issues, but there is no clear customer support or immediate complaint option when problems happen.
Foodpanda charges high delivery and service fees, yet fails to provide reliable service, proper quality control, or effective customer support. If food arrives cold, damaged, or inedible, Foodpanda should take full responsibility instead of leaving riders and customers to suffer alone.
A company operating at this scale should have:
• A proper live complaint system
• Faster refund and replacement options
• Accountability for restaurants sending poor-quality food
• Better support for riders
• Real customer care instead of automated replies

If you’re looking to be embarrassed in front of your guests, have your kids go hungry, or simply be left waiting without any clarity, then go ahead and order from Foodpanda Pakistan.
I placed an order at 15:47 and waited nearly an hour. As my patience started running out, I tried contacting customer support, only to realize there’s no proper way to speak to a representative. After some effort, I managed to find a number, but it turned out to be a vendor helpline, and they refused to assist me.
At 17:27, I finally received a message from a rider saying he was about to pick up the order from the restaurant. By that point, I had already waited far too long, so I requested him to cancel the order. He told me he couldn’t do that.
I have all the screenshots and I’m seriously considering taking legal action. This level of service is unacceptable, and the situation was genuinely embarrassing.

Food Panda riders are the worst; they are lazy, their boxes are torn, the food is always received cold, or sometimes not edible. Which is why I rarely use them, but yesterday I had a worse experience with them. The rider provided me food after half an hour of his diparture which was almost 15mins distant in actual, the box as open, i asked him on which he did mischief and asked for extra 100, I gave him that 100 extra to get rid of him, later when i wrote review and complaint against him, the food panda dedcted whole amount of order from him.
That's where he started behaving like evil, he gave my number to someone who started calling me, harassing me, and abusing me. I had to involve my male members, and he abused them, too. The threat of the police, we said ok bring the police, we are waiting.
The rider kept standing at the gate. I will not go until you pay me the whole amount. The two of them were the worst, and so many like them I have been continuously listening to about.
We always give tips to riders for their work, but that man had been the worst.
Well, later we gave him money, and in the evening the bad man again called me and harassed me; this is how they ruin your life. I have a complaint F.I.R in the police station.
And yes, food panda has no emergency phone number, only slow live chat, on which they rarely help you out.

I ordered food using foodpanda. #burgerlabpakistan confirmed order when it started showing "on the way" status, restaurant called me and said they cannot bring the order and I should cancel order using foodpanda. Foodpanda was not showing any option to cancel as status was out for delivery. I called 4 times burger lab and they kept insisting that foodoanda will refund my money as i paid using credit card. Next morning when i opened foodpanda app the status was DELIVERED. I spoke with foodpanda chat for 27 mins they kept saying order was handled by burger lab they will refund. I called restaurant they rejected to refund. Its only 2,200 PKR but you guys are so cheap and pathetic. I tried to complained through burger lab site they just asked me to fill a surver and 48 hours gone no reply. SHAME SHAME

I have bad experience with food panda there order cancellation system I accidentally order wrong address soon as realize immediately but there is no cancellation option there is no customer relation link so contact the restaurant and stop the order before preparing and I have paid online after searching I found a way to communicate the customer relation office on chat but refuse refund either I contacted the restaurant but they also don't have option to stop the order after long discussion they refuse to pay me back so delete the app

This is not just bad service — this is organized fraud.
FoodPanda has turned into a complete scam, and their riders and management appear to be working hand in hand in this dishonest practice. This is NOT the first time this has happened with us. It is the second, third time that after paying advance through the app, the rider simply does not deliver the food.
This time, we ordered THREE coffees, paid almost Rs. 3000 in advance, and what did we get?
👉 No delivery
👉 No rider response
👉 No accountability
Despite repeated calls and messages, the rider deliberately ignored us and vanished. It is very clear what happens next:
The rider takes the food, keeps the money (already paid through the app), and disappears — knowing very well that no cash or tip is involved.
This is gross negligence, absolute irresponsibility, and blatant unprofessionalism. FoodPanda’s customer support is equally useless — scripted replies, no urgency, no resolution, no shame.
At this point, it feels like a systematic scam, not an accident. When this keeps happening again and again, it is no longer a coincidence — it is fraud.
