Detailed reviews of Stock Picks

I have subscribed to Stock Adviser” & “Dividend Investor for a number of years now. They give detail reviews of the companies they recommend. Like others I don’t buy all of their Recommendations, but I have bought quite a few and have been successful. A good tool for the investing tool belt.

I think Motley Fool Canada is a vital tool in my investment resources. I'll be honest, I don't have the time and frankly the knowledge to research all the companies to make an educated decision on what stocks to buy or when to sell them, for that matter. With Motley Fool I can read a few articles and I'm up to date and sure they can’t be right all the time, but nobody can. All in all, I am very satisfied with their service.

Been learning more as i go along.
Always do your due diligence as well as their advice and make your own decisions.
Definitely wor
th way more than your average "financial advisor"

Motley Fool gives a lot of investment…

Motley Fool gives a lot of investment info. —- not all of it works out but in general there is more ‘good and profitable’ info. than bad. It is worth the subscription fee particularly if you find it on sale!

Overall very good

Overall very good! Certainly better than the fund managers that previously held my money for ten years with minimal returns. I don’t invest in all of their suggested companies, but the 12 to 15 that I did buy shares in, have done well. Like the FOOL suggests, do your own research and due diligence before committing to buy any shares. I will continue to subscribe to “Stock Adviser” & “Dividend Investor”

Been a Fool for years

Been a Fool for years. I’m getting close to retirement now and still want to grow my nest egg - but limit risk. Motley Fool provides me, who knows so little about investing, with clear info to make some choices. In my portfolio are still some pre-Fool choices (all in the red) and recommendations from Motley Fool that I checked into and bought. For the most part I’ve made a little bit of money.

A WAAAAAY better experience than speaking to financial advisors at my bank who only promote certain packages. Cheaper than retaining a broker.

In recent years they started sounding a little more hype-ster. Selling different plans to invest in different kinds of products and learn about them. I don’t like the tone and quit when my subscription came up for renewal - and came back. The marketing may bug me but the information they provide is solid and I like the vibe that they have fun and can be funny about investing.

I have been a Motley Fool subscriber…

I have been a Motley Fool subscriber for over 15 years.
If you buy there recommendations as soon as they are published you won’t be dissatisfied.
They also will tell you when to sell some positions when it really needs to be done.
Their research is top notch!
If I would have listened a few more times to their advice I would have been a lot wealthier now!

Generally very good

Generally very good. More attention to the needs of very senior investors would be helpful. At age 86
l-o-n-g term should be balanced with shorter.

I’ve been with the Fool for years and that was after years of following their free service. In the investing world they are a place you can trust but investing isn’t magic. Even with guidance it takes effort and patience.

Fool of a Took, read this!

The Motley Fool has been instrumental in my wealth strategy. Remember Nortel Networks? Waaaay back in the day they were going gang busters, stock doubling etc. the Fool was the only stock analysis firm that looked through the smoke and mirrors and told members to get off the rocket. Reliable and smart analyzers.

Excellent service

Excellent service! I have used their services for years! Insightful advice to invest in underlying companies and not the market 'noise' ! Investing is about investing in businesses not market moods !

Hi this is BOB

Hi, the whole fool experience has fill a lot of gaps in my investing by introducing companies i would never find. The problem now is everything is too watered-down leaving the small portfolio investors having to pick only a few of the recommendation, as in my case poor choices of companies that are realy loosers but not movers. And now the fools are trying to jump on every new great thing with new expensive offerings while leaving long time members out of that loop while gouging high prices especially now in such a drop in the market that may have destroyed many focused investors portfolios.

This service is very good….I have followed a lot of their stock choices and been so pleased with the results. They don’t do it for you though! You have to make your in vestments your priority and learn from their excellent research and candid thoughts. They also provide good information to help you figure out your best strategy and learn about investing.

Adjust Advice Sooner

I've followed Motley Fool advice for a few years. During the 'good times' the advice has been good. My criticism is in not seeing that high flying growth stocks would be hit as hard as they have been, and both continuing to recommend purchases and failing to recommend sell (eg. Shopify, Zoom).

Great investing site.

Great site with a selection of different investing tools depending on one’s investment profile and strategy, it includes a search engine of Companies with updates information on them, also investors letter, stocks news, new recommendations, I’ve been a long time investor and using some of their different services has help me gain insight on companies that I had in my portfolio or that I was considering to include, I would recommend it to any investor no matter at what stage of investing they are.

Good Service

Good Service. Been with these folks for a while and have been really pleased with their product offerings. Learned a lot along the way
Only criticism is the number of new services being offered every other week. My computer screen (15.6 inches) isn't large enough to see all their offerings! I have to minimize my screen to see all their services. Is their 40 or 50 different offerings?
