5 star financial services company *****

This is a lovely company, never a problem, even though I live abroad, and I will review again when CTF is paid out.

On a separate note, it should be much easier for any disabled people / wards of court etc. etc. to cash in their CTF to anyone controlling a bank account for them (from any provider) I'm sure Foresters agree the current system is unfair in terms of court costs to get back relatively small amounts.

CTF Withdrawal

I am a parent of a young person with a disability for whom I have LPA. It's been an ongoing drama trying to get Foresters to release the CTF funds. Firstly they lose the LPA documentation. Customer Services are amazingly unhelpful and just told me it was my fault, they hadn't received anything and I had to get everything aurothised and sent off again. It was the financial advisor who, I want to say, has been nothing but kind and helpful throughout, who had to get involved, and it then transpires that they had got the LPA but they had mislaid it. Not an experience that inspires trust. Then they decide that I have to be ID checked again and I have to send them my passport and driver's licence etc. So I jump through all the hoops and get certified copies. Then nothing. So I have to ask the financial advisor to prompt customer services. The Building Society account the funds are to go into are not in the full name the CTF is in, it's omitting one first name, and I was told that they will not transfer the fund into an account that isn't in exactly the same name as the CTF account. I have also been told that they cannot pay the money into a Building Society because they use a reference or roll number. When I point out that the BS actually uses a Barclays account to clear payments and here is a reference number for the payment on the paperwork already validated at the post office as genuine, I am told you can't do this with BACS payments as you can't use reference numbers on BACS payments - which is an extraordinary claim to make- and also Foresters is not a bank and they do not electronic transfers. They are insisting they issue me with a cheque. Unless I send them bank statement for an account in exactly the same name as is on the CTF account. When I can only assume they become a financial institution that can do electronic bank transfers and have a field for reference numbers. I am also told that in any event the BS wont accept any funds paid in by cheque, because the account it's being paid into isn't in exactly the same name as their CTF account. And this is Customer Service. Apart from the financial advisor my whole experience of dealing with Foresters has been distressing, this has been going on for over 6 weeks. Your treated with suspicion and contempt. I wonder how many other poor families are being similarly treated. Also Please don't tell me to ring Customer Services, after 6 weeks your fed up with customer services and 'complaints'.

Forester Financial UK - I've been on the lookout for a reliable…

I've been on the lookout for a reliable financial advisor for some time, and I was fortunate to receive a recommendation from one of my patients. Zainab has been incredibly helpful and knowledgeable throughout the entire process.

She takes the time to explain everything clearly, especially since I had little experience with setting up my private pension and ISA Stocks and Shares. Zainab has also been very accommodating with scheduling our meetings, which is essential for me given my long work hours.

I highly recommend her services; she is both professional and expert in her field, making the experience much easier and more understandable for someone like me.
