This service works well

This service works well, and most of it is well documented. I had issue and the support was a little slow to respond, but I did get it resolved within a few days. I saw the other review about lack of contact info, and it is amusing to me that the only contact info is an e-mail address to a company that's sole purpose is to forward e-mails to other accounts. The price is right and it works, I have no complaints.

Great value, fast support

Incredible value, very fast and responsive support on Matrix, all open source and supports every feature I need. Including forwarding to non-standard SMTP ports and forwarding any localpart emails without setting up aliases, so I can run my own, private mail server.

Best solution ever to simply email workflow

I purchased this plan two months ago after trying numerous other email providers.

This seems to be the most affordable and effective solution for entrepreneurs managing multiple businesses like me.

Everything works perfectly, and the support is outstanding—absolutely no complaints!

Jumped from POBox to this service and very happy

I jumped ship from POBox when they decided to merge that offering into fastmail. For the price I am shocked at how well the service performs, support is incredible too. I had several questions all of which were answered in a timely manner. I highly recommend this service.

Taking too much time to forward emails.

Taking too much time to forward emails.

Initially the emails were delivered with 2-3 seconds but later part the time started dropping to even 40-60 seconds and even minutes sometime. Not consistent and timing keeps dropping not reliable if you have priority or emergency in your work.

Great value and versitile email service

I've used Forward Email for over a year. It's a very flexible service, from having simple (and more importantly reliable) email forwarders to full mailboxes and SMTP sending from services like Gmail. Paying for a service/space and being able to use it with multiple domains is also really nice, rather than having to pay 'per account'.

I've also reported abuse of their service (people selling fake reviews with their MX records pointing at Forward Email) and this was dealt with very quickly and professionally!

Brilliant service

I have used the service since 2021, and it has worked fantastically. Today I have raised a support request (I needed admin approval for a change), which was actioned immediately. Very impressed and highly recommended.

I am very concerned about the privacy…

I am very concerned about the privacy of the emails I forwarded through this service.

I contacted their support because in the logs several emails were not sent to the real recipients of the aliases but to other emails that I had never configured or knew. Their response, after days, is only a logging problem but people were not receiving the emails. So who were they arriving to?

They decided to investigate further and their response is probably you have a virus or you have been hacked. I sent proof of the fact that the unknown emails (from their logs!) even in the alias configuration, did not appear on their site. When I explained this they disappeared for days and I never received a response again.

Today I finally received a response after 1 week: probably the IP is blacklisted for this reason the recipients do not receive the emails: I am sent a link where I can request the unblocking. I run, on their site, the process to unblock it and I get the error that it is not blacklisted.

I have asked several times, but reading other reviews here on Trustpilot confirm that they do not respond to emails or the answers arrive after days.

So my review cannot be positive and I invite you to be careful, for privacy reasons, not to send sensitive data in emails because they could reach random people.

We have found zero indication of an issue on our side and from the logs you shared it (the specific alias) appeared to be attempting forwarding to a non-routable MX server. room to improve, forwarding works well

In using the paid service for approximately 2 months (through Sept and Oct 2024) so-far the most noticed:

negatives:
* on 3 separate occasions over 2 months the service deleted all my emails unexpectedly and there was no easy way to recover (there is a more complex recovery I chose not to invest time to figure out);
* support requests close after their first response and do not reopen when replying, one time there was no response from support;
* accessing mail is remarkably slow at times, while other times it performs as expected; so slow that tokens sent for login expire making it difficult to rely on the service for anything critical (imagine trying to make a flight and needing to login to something before boarding);

positives:
* setup is relatively straightforward for those with technical aptitude/background (I worked as a sysadmin and software eng.) however could be improved for usability;
* overall the price point seems reasonable if the negatives are addressed;
* there is some support, despite it having room to improve;
* emails send reliably through the service;
* forwarding seems reliable;

My overall impression is that the group lacks core quality controls and solutions for performant operations and recovery, affecting business focus, which would make it suitable for hobbyists and folks on a budget, or where it's used only for forwarding--due to the problems mentioned related to hosting email on their platform. Unfortunately, don't currently recommend for running a small business due to the data loss and slow performance, though if these were fixed it would be an option to reconsider. (jimmont.com)

I highly recommend this service.

I highly recommend this service.
Forward Email currently handles my accounts registration and verification flows via api.
The setup was simple and the reliability far exceeds what I was expecting.
On top of this, real people will respond to your support requests.
I pay premium(who wouldnt at that price) and have absolutely zero complaints.
IMO: Without a doubt the best solution for anyones email needs.

NOT working on free plans

I was using this service. Its a very useful service and was using their free plan. You have to appreciate the free plans they offer and also not expect premium level features or support.

But this for me has stopped working and only noticed by chance, so i could have missed so many emails.

I checked the setup with GoDaddy DNS and it was verified and checked.

Now it is not working at all. I emailed there support but replies take time so I had to change to a different email forwarding service for my main emails.

I will update this if the service starts working again

Reliable and Robust Email System

I signed up about 2 years ago and lightly used the service for testing only. I finally decided I would commit and use this service exclusively. I had minor issues initially and due to my own configuration, a contact email was never received on the support side. I finally managed to get ahold of support and they helped me get things corrected. This was about 8 months ago at the time of this writing.

I now use FE as my front-line email routing service and it has been solid. They route all of my domain emails to anywhere I point it, making my family happy for sure. I have been incredibly happy with the service. I am a paying customer so I don't use TXT records, but instead, I use the web panel to set up emails now. It is so easy to set up email forward and also a quick junk email address for anything I don't want to use my main email for.

Forwardemail now has a solid infrastructure and I have had zero delivery issues. Their spam system does a fantastic job also. My spam receiving rate is maybe 1-2 a week, which is down from 100+. Good job to the team in setting up and operating a solid network. I am going to be a customer for a long time going forward. Good job guys.
