“Fourth” is the absolute worst piece of rubbish I’ve ever used 👎 I’m not surprised it’s got such low ratings👎
While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more
To protect platform integrity, every review on our platform—verified or not—is screened by our 24/7 automated software. This technology is designed to identify and remove content that breaches our guidelines, including reviews that are not based on a genuine experience. We recognise we may not catch everything, and you can flag anything you think we may have missed. Read more
We understand the issues that make a business less efficient - wasted inventory, overstaffing, employee churn, payment problems - because we spent years managing hospitality properties before creating Fourth. Through our Purchase-to-Pay and Inventory, Workforce Management, and Data & Analytics platforms, we enable your business to achieve more sales, productivity, guest satisfaction, and profitability.

The worst app ever invented. I can’t see my shifts. Is just blank all day !!!!
We should have went with the competitors. This software is way more complicated than it needs to be, it has bugs, bugs, bugs, and the training and post training support is garbage. What a collassal waste of money this was and shame on the implementation team for their unreasonable, our way or the highway, approach to onboarding new business. Stay away from Fourth! Your money is better spent elsewhere.
No function to log in or out, very hard to keep track of employees - breaks cannot be amended and rota just shows your own shifts so you can’t see who else is working - rubbish app
As a small business we found ourselves beholden to an outdated, overpriced, achingly complicated, user-unfriendly, software package with the most onerous 12 month notice period.
I cannot emphasise how many hours of my life I have wasted attempting to make the software work for us as a hospitality business and am now having to pay in full for 12 month notice period.
It took an entire day to login into the most complicated system devised by British designers who love to complicate a system so they may appear to be intelligent. No wonder the usa had to save the British in ww1 and ww2. By the. Way beware of the most unintelligent complicated directions for a website for restaurants to manage or just to login!!!
I have called in, waited on hold for an hour, only to be told I will receive a call back which never comes.
I must enroll in my benefits for my company by 3/24. The lack of communication and support I have received from the fourth team end is upsetting.
There must be an issue with your log in or password reset system. I enter my email to login as always and it says my password is incorrect. After this I request my username to make sure I am not forgetting anything. I get confirmation of my username "brunoj" within minutes, and attempt to login with username.
Then it says I need to use my email not that username to login. It keeps saying password incorrect. I just reset it 2 weeks ago, but I'll try again. This time I get no email back. I wait hours and try again. No avail no email, no luck, and I am about to lose the opportunity to have health insurance and enroll in benefits at my company.
Customer service is appalling
The software in itself is OK (although it doesn't do the labour demand forecasting that many other providers do). As with many software providers, where you're really let down is in the customer service. You've very little chance of speaking to an actual person, leaving you to go through their ticketing system for help. The tickets are not managed by the same person throughout the journey but they don't seem to have any way of keeping a record of the ticket's history. Very simple matters take weeks to resolve, and tickets for the same issues have to be raised time after time. As an example, we need our wage cost budgets loaded into Fourth (quite critical for a workforce management tool) but two months after first requesting this we still don't have a date for when this will be done, apparently due to resourcing issues at Fourth.
