Do not buy from this site, I purchased three items from one seller and received not one of them, however DHgate still released funds to them even though delivery had not been confirmed.
They admitted that seller gave false tracking info,seller had 15 out of 20 sales with non-delivery comments from other buyers with same outcome.
To safeguard buyers money they say they don't release funds until buyer confirms they have received and are satisfied with item.
Now they are refusing to refund my money and are asking me to contact seller, even though they no longer operate on their site.
How is it that this seller was allowed to get away with this not once but 15 times and they only made 20 sales - as there was only 15 negative feedback and no positive I presume the other 5 have yet to comment

Well wear do I start ordering loads of stuff off DHgate end everything started saying delived but haven’t got the stuff so contacted dhgate and send six sellers so far have sent my things to the rong address so not good

They tell me I cancelled my order now and never paid for my order and made another order. These are all Lies.
This company is a complete SCAM.
I paid straight way on the dhgate site for my order. I centainly never cancelled because I have been waiting for my package for nearly a month. I have already provided dhgate and the seller flame electronics with bank deduction screenshot. They just dont care. They are Chinese Criminals.

Never received items they were sent and delivered to another part of the country and NO REFUND and then ask for a review of item I never received

I paid $50 in FEB 2018 for products which I never received till date JULY 2018. Consistent follow up with seller was useless. Registered a complaint through chat and email but nothing worked. Funny customer service, they want us to contact the seller for refund. How can DHGate release payment when the customer order is not delivered?? When they have the authority to release our payment I surprised they want us to contact seller for resolution. Then why do you have a customer service in place??? The buyers can directly deal with the sellers. DHGate is not able to resolve this $50 issue and Im not sure how they will manage bigger disputes. Seems like not only the seller cheat here but also DHGate itself is a scam. I had posted the review in the product page but no resolution. Multiple follow up with the customer care but a useless message telling to contact the seller and no other solutions. Very very very disappointed. I will never suggest this site for anyone and if anyone is using this site I will straight forward inform them not to rely. I will keep posting this review everywhere possible until I get a solution for the dispute.

I tried to buy 2 electric guitars, turned out the vendor was bogus, nothing but a scam. I have read positive reviews from some people, so I would read the reviews on a merchant selling on dgate b4 buying.

Experience is very poor.
No real help from support.
Item does not match the description but seller wants me to send it back on my own cost.
Seller is LOVOCOO.
Knife was offered with D2 steel but it is ordinary stainless steel.
The replied, don't worry about the quality...
It's like you ordered a silver spoon but you got a copper one but don't worry about the quality...

I have since opened an after sale dispute which I received partial refund . I am still dissatisfied with how process occurs.

if you purchase sneakers in my case defective sneakers fly nit. I had to send evidence of pictures of measured insole of shoes . I ordered 2 size mens 9 shoes.

the two shoes fit totally different and the shoes are defective one left shoe leaning and imbalanced on left foot.

Disappointing purchase locally due to hassle. I learned my lesson I won't purchase from dhgate ever again!

Only mild hiccup was bank identifying the risk payment.

I was scared initially when bank put on hold but I called and informed I bought Nike elite socks 🧦 sans the Nike logo.

I bought Lebron 15 equality at 50 bucks , nike black valor max, 2 orders of Nike elite socks 10 pair for $14 not like Sporting good store begins with a D -1 pair each for $14 🙄

I ordered on June 24th and they arrived July 6th. Th company actually communicates with me.

My bank was aware things were cool.

TOTAL SCAM, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, NEVER LISTENS TO CUSTOMERS. NO PAYMENT PROTECTION PLAN. THEY HAVE SAID ON THE WEBSITE BUT IT'S A LIE. NEVER EVER WILL BUY. WASTED A YEAR CHASING A REFUND. WASTED MY TIME, MONEY, ENERGY. GAVE ME HEADCHE, STRESS, ANXITY. DID NOT PROCESS MY REFUND. NO SYSTEM TO DISPUTE A CLOSED ITEMS. WORST SHOPPING EXPERIENCE

Beyond bad don't waste your time they facilitate liars and scam artists to rob you.
"Chat" is perhaps best left for people who are gullible and have hours to waste.
Demonstrably wrong updates from sellers claiming posted are left up demonstrably wrong updates from sellers claiming delivered are left on the system despite showing the tracking numbers are false.
Dhgate should be renamed Fagin gate.

Is there anything I can do about how I have been treated by DHGate?
I ordered a watch from seller hk2008watch, but was sent a cheap fake crap copy. I instantly contacted the seller. He told me that it was what I had ordered. I immediately sent him photos and web links to the watch that I had actually ordered. Also I sent him pictures of the rubbish that he had sent me instead. Of course this was a complete waste of my time. I then had to wait a couple of weeks, before I could escalate it to DHGate's pointless mediation process. I then of course, wasted my time for the next few weeks sending the same proof to customer support (seller support, more like) Yes the customer most definitely comes last, where DHGate are concerned. I have since found out that they receive 20% of the price paid by us poor unsuspecting buyers. This is why today, I have been informed that my dispute has been resolved. ?????? I don't think so. They are fobbing me off with an $80 refund. That is over 75% less than the $360 that I paid the con artist hk2008watch. This obviously means that DHGate gets 20% of the $280 that I have been duped out of. They will always side with the scammers, because they make more money. I will never, ever purchase anything ever again from this Chinese rip off website and will make sure that everyone knows about how I have been treated via social media and forums. If you want to buy quality goods at a reasonable price, and be treated like a customer should be. Then DHGate is most definitely not the place for you. However if you want to be lied to, cheated out of your hard earned money and waste your time jumping through hoops, sending hundreds of emails, to still be ripped off. Then DHGate is the perfect place to buy. People don't get cheated STAY AWAY FROM DHGATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your customer service is attrocious. I have attempted to "get in the queue" 3 times and each time the hold time has been nearly an hour- and then when it is my turn, the system switches to "live help is not available at this time"... you seem to be quite the scammy website dealing with scammy sellers. If this were not true, it would not be so hard getting help with the transaction that I completed- but was sent total junk.

I contacted a seller to make sure that the items pictured on the listing were in stock- they confirmed yes, plenty of stock. The items that arrived look nothing like what is pictured. The retail packaging is crushed and garbage- the designs of the products are terrible. It's like ordering apples and getting oranges. Now the return process is a total scam- they want me to ship it back somewhere other than where it came from before I get a refund. I do not trust sending the product back FIRST, as I have already been scammed once.

I have attempted to get "live customer help" 4 times. The first time, someone answered and said they would file the complaint for me and I would get a refund in 5 days. 8 days have passed, I can get no further help and the seller has "denied" the complaint/return process. Dhgate has HORRIBLE customer service, and unfriendly and confusing website and seems to be a giant scam. Of course, there are people that order things that seem to be fine, but this was our second attempt at ordering and we got phucked again. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS SCAMMY WEBSITE> IT IS GARBAGE AND NOTHING BUT SCAMMY SELLERS.

We can no longer get through the queue to receive direct help from DHGate. When it is our turn (AFTER WAITING ONLINE FOR AN HOUR) the system disconnects and says "live help is no longer available". TOTAL GARBAGE- STAY AWAY!

Me again, thought I'd post an update on my continuing frustration with DHgate, since I don't believe they look at any additions you make to previous posts. I'm still looking for my $36 refund, and I continue to contact these jokers at least every other day by email, chat or on the messaging feature on their website. As of today (4/27), the chat button on the customer service site will not work. Tried it on my phone and on the PC, nothing has been happening when I push that button. I continue to get the same exact broken English message from the MYDHgate idiot every time I send a request for a way to attach the Postal Service tracking report that clearly shows the item was delivered to their facility on Feb. 29; they keep sending back (four times) the same lame message that says refund is due but haven't received goods. Either they're lying or the US Postal Service is. I did send a scan of the report to the customer service email address on the website, TWICE IN THE LAST WEEK, and have received no response. So little DHgate minion, since it looks like I'm basically locked out again, I hope you see this message and give me some instruction here. Again, I HAVE IN MY POSSESSION A POSTAL SERVICE DOCUMENT THAT CLEARLY SHOWS YOU RECEIVED THIS RETURNED ITEM TWO MONTHS AGO. I CAN'T SEEM TO GET A SINGLE PERSON ON YOUR END WHO HAS ANY INTEREST IN SEEING IT OR ACTING ON IT.

I bought a rotorazor saw from xiaojibaibal. When it was delivered it was a 230 volt 50 Hz model. Where was no mention of it not being a U.S. 110 volt model. I filled a complaint with dhgate a offer was made by seller and accept by some certainly not me. When I to correct this, I could get no reply from dhgate. I have bough nemberious things from China through ebay with no problems, Dhgate is just a scam enabler with no ethics.

Everyone by now knows that majority of the sellers in dhgate are scammers. Well im sad to tell that Dhgate itself is a scam! Got first hand experience from there facebook page.
I was announced as a lucky winner of a $20 coupon. When i went to apply the code it said its expired. I used it within a few hours of getting it. The rules was to use it within a month. I then sent countless messages to dhgate facebook page. Namely Stephanie, Ella and Jasmine. All my messages were "Seen" but none was replied. I sent a message everyday, i saw new posts being posted but by pm was never replied to. Until i got a response exactly on the 6th (exactly a month after announcing). As expected the response was they were sorry that no one replied and said they will take action but they said they are sorry but the time period for the coupon is over and there is nothing they could do. I was kind of laughing while reading it. So much lies, it was so obvious. When i thought i was the only one i realized everyone who were announced as the winner, all got the same treatment as i did. Such a pathetic customer care service by the admins of there Facebook page. All a scam, all false and fake marketing.

For More than 1 year, I ordered many small things on DH Gate and now it seems that there is a lot of unfair seller on this market place : Object not as described ( pack of 5 received 1), ordered is shipping with 2 Days from Beijing and billed as shown delivered 2 Days after (China to France in 48 hours ???) and when I open a dispute, I need to provide evidence of it ?? by the way the seller account has no money on it = pure loss for me.

So the service quality get poor and poor on DH gate and seller are not fair. Before DH Gate use to refung or solve when dispute were opened, now they just gave up or feed you with lot of administrative requests.

AVOID IT , or think about 30% uplift on price to pay bad order issues
