237+ days and counting!

It has been 237+ days since my original request for a refund on a cancelled event with Fnac/FranceBillet.

They haven’t issued a refund, a statement accepting poor service, or acknowledgement of negligent service and therefore compensation.

On one occasion I was told that a refund had been issued, I therefore responded with a redacted Bank Statement proving this was not the case. I was then asked to provide a Bank Statement for different dates and did so and they went quiet again.

I checked a clause they quoted in rare response and it was in fact for a separate and unrelated T&C - “RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL: In accordance with article L. 221-28 paragraph 12”. When I opposed them on this, they went quiet again.

For the duration of my communications, Fnac/FranceBillet have been in breach of French Consumer Code & The Consumer Rights Act. The responses have been belittling and misrepresent legal information that seems to be used as an avoidance technique.

Simply put, my money has been stolen and their ‘Customer Service’ Team seem incredible immortal.

Still waiting for a refund...

Event in Angouleme (Jan 2022) was canceled but so far never received a refund. They keep saying the refund was sent on Jan 14th but I have never received anything. They invited me to double-check, as if I hadn't checked already thousand times.

Poor service poor organization Do…

Poor service poor organization Do not use them. Feel like they stole our money. Did not make it clear that we had to go to some supermarket to print off our tickets (Always before with other ticket agencies I printed tickets at home or did will call at the theatre box office) This time arrived at the theatre to collect tickets - no tickets lost 55 euros which these clowns will not reimburse and had a 120km round trip drive, parking at 28 euros, and 155 euros hotel bill including breakfast. And no show tickets AGAIN DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE VOLEURS.
