Very helpful and quick actions and responses on questions. Also helping a lot with settling in France
We were very lucky to have such a good helpful Agent in Noel Edmonds. He was helpful knowledgeable and courteous at all times. Very patient. We found that the sale of our house was a less daunting prospect as Noel guided us through each step. We cannot recommend him highly enough. From the initial stages through to the final stages of the sale we had plenty of guidance and encouragement. Very very professional
Carole McGregor was incredible. She went above and beyond in providing helpful information and guidance and really took the time to make it a great experience
I was showed a house not fit for humans.
Certainly you would not house a refugee for 63 600 e by a clown who theory was bull shit baffles brains unfortunately for this clown it did not work
From start to finish Saveena & Leggett have been really helpful. Always available for the smallest queries to major concerns - taking us through the process of selling our property.
Last minute issues also dealt with in an understanding and pro-active; effective approach - leading to a successful and seamless transaction.
Would definitely recommend their services to others.
Very attentive throughout the selling process and nothing was too much trouble. Excellent service from start to finish
Sian Maher, leggetts agent for Courchevel, a really great service from start to finish. Extremely helpful and pleasant with a lovely manner. Attention to detail and organisation very thorough. A real asset to Leggets and Courchevel sellers and buyers. Would definitely recommend.
Recommended for honesty and helping with the complete process of buying my new house in Normandy. The process was difficult for me with my schoolboy French and Noel Edmunds was a trusted translator knowing the whole process. Thank you for everything!
I'm writing to wholeheartedly recommend Leggetts - at least in lower Normandy - where they are represented by the efficient, ever-helpful and charming Victoria Chavasse. She did everything she could to sell our house and were it not for the curious intransigence of the potential buyers that she introduced, would have secured the sale. Unusually however, we had two almost identical offers at the same time, one of which we could accept without our having to jump through the several hoops on which the other was contingent.
We recently bought our house in France with Leggett Immobilier and were very happy with the service provided by the firm. Our agent, Jennie Tombs was particularly helpful & despite some complicated extra processes during the sale, she was always on hand to reassure us & to find solutions and explained everything thouroughly. I would definitely recommend Jennie and Legget Immobilier.
We were recommended Tamsin’s search service by our ski instructor. She showed us four off-market chalets, one of which was exactly what we were looking for.
Tamsin works with a great team — Hamish carried out a thorough inspection and flagged a potential issue with one of the balconies. Tamsin then negotiated for the seller to crane off the old spa and completely replace the balcony. She also secured an additional garage for us, which was a huge bonus.
Beyond the purchase itself, Tamsin provided a truly end-to-end service. She introduced us to a trusted accountant to handle our French affairs, arranged for utilities to be connected, and even organised Starlink installation.
A fully comprehensive and highly professional service — Tamsin made the whole process smooth and stress-free. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.
Simone is a great person. Who is well know about her properties to sell
A nice person who advised us and to complete the practical administration.
She is definitely a"sunshine" for the company and for future buyers.
Terrible Property Management — We Missed the Entire High Season
We purchased a beautiful historic home in Bergerac through Leggett Immobilier. The real estate side of the transaction went smoothly, but our experience with their property management team was a disaster.
We completely missed out on renting the house during the high season because no one would respond to my emails — for months. I tried every method I could think of to get in touch. Eventually, after persistent effort, I got a reply and we re-established communication, but the service didn’t improve.
They showed no urgency or care about maximizing rental income. They claimed to use pricing software, but it consistently underpriced the property — well below market for the area. It felt like they were just going through the motions.
When our contract ended, we couldn't wait to move on. And incredibly, they were surprised when we told them we were leaving — as if the months of silence and underperformance hadn’t happened.
Avoid them for property management. The lack of professionalism and responsiveness cost us thousands.
Our agent pulled out all the stops to secure the sale. She was there at every stage, offering help, advice and support.
We have never come across an agent like her!
If you are buying or selling a house in France you need the skills by Leggett
Vahe Pekmez handled the sale of our property with true professionalism. He really worked hard for us, was always available, easy to contact, and kept us informed throughout. The quiet confidence he had in himself gave us confidence in him — and rightly so.
He was always calm, very reassuring, and clearly well versed in every step of the process.
Helpful, reliable, and a
pleasure to work with — we would recommend Vahe Pekmez without hesitation, and have already done so highly to friends and family.
It was wonderful being advised by two of your agents, Victoria Chavasse and Lesley Okey, who finally clinched our purchase of a lovely house in Athis val de Rouvre, where we hope to move in soon and live a wonderful old age. Lesley assisted us every step pf the way with great patience and a professional and also warm assistance. Many thanks indeed!
Tuyen is both personable and pleasant to deal with, as well as being diligent and professional. As non-French native speakers she made our house sale a reassuring process, with attention to detail and regular communication. Highly recommend.
We are delighted with our fabulous agent, Tuyen Scherer! From the moment of the first contact with Leggett she has been attentive, knowledgeable and genuinely caring in her approach. She did not hesitate to meet us for the first viewing even though it was a slightly inconvenient time late on a Saturday afternoon. This helped us enormously as we were travelling from the UK. We instantly felt a warm connection with her. She was able to tell us full details about the property and the area. This resulted in us buying the first French property that we have ever viewed! She has walked beside us through the whole process of the sale, acting as our advocate and providing us with excellent advice and guidance. She made a process that seemed confusing initially straightforward. She has taught us about the French house and the local services. We are so lucky to have found the house of our dreams and feel truly blessed that Tuyen was our agent. We could not be happier! Thanks so much Tuyen
Sadly I have to leave a one star review, to say my wife and I were led down the garden path is an understatement, I would welcome you to ask Rita Bryan to forward the email correspondence on property A32695RBR50 to yourself and let you decide, after a few weeks of close contact I was assured that nothing would happen with the property until we had viewed it, we took three days out from the U.K. to look at the area, offered the full asking price the same day of viewing, only to be advised that the person who placed an offer below the asking price had put up their offer, how very odd all in around six hours on a Friday afternoon.
We have just sold our French home through Leggett and our agent Laure Anne LEBLANC has been fantastic throughout. She is a french speaker and has excellent command of both written and spoken english. She has been charming, helpful and efficient throughout the whole process. We can highly recommend her. Thank you Laure Anne! (Mayenne Sarthe border)
