IMO the meals aren’t the best
IMO the meals aren’t the best. Looks all mushed together on arrival very unappealing. Use cheap meat, mainly chicken thighs with most of the meat looking grey in places. I would prefer to pay more and have all meals breast meat. As usual with all prep companies, over loaded with herbs and spices to disguise the poor quality ingredients. Thank god I ordered with a discount code as I won’t be re ordering. I also didn’t realise it was lions prep re-branded. I had a bad experience with them a couple years back where my first order arrived with half the meals open and leaking. Wouldn’t have bothered in hindsight. Ending thoughts, if your used to more premium produce I wouldn’t bother ordering from frive.

I haven’t got time to keep chasing this, to be honest.
The pause period isn’t long enough and the whole cancellation process is confusing. I was already charged nearly £100 before, so this time I made sure I cancelled it properly — I even screen recorded it — and it clearly showed my next delivery was cancelled.
I was told I’d hear back within 24 hours and, as usual, nothing.
It just feels like my time doesn’t matter here, but yours clearly does. I’m busy and don’t have time to keep going round in circles over something that should be straightforward.
I want this sorted — either refund what’s been taken or send the food that was paid for. If this isn’t resolved quickly, I’ll be raising a chargeback through my credit card.
Amazing meals
Amazing meals. Delicious. And so easy to prep. The only ready meals that I’ve not been able to fully eat due to the volume of food in each meal.
Keeps me feeling fulling and good. Would 100% reccomend!!!

I’ve been really impressed with Frive…
I’ve been really impressed with Frive meals. The food is delicious with a great range of choices, and the quality is consistently superb. I chose the extra‑protein range, which has been excellent and very satisfying.
The only downside for me is the website, which feels a little over‑fussy and not as user‑friendly as it could be. That said, the meals themselves more than make up for it, and I’d happily recommend Frive for the quality and variety alone.
Great customer service
Roa was awesome and fixed my missing credit issues super fast. Even though I've had a few problems with the packaging lately, the customer service is great and they always make sure everything gets sorted.
Ten Apple Pies, isit?
Had a subscription, found the food decreased in quality and was not worth the money. The last straw was when they sent me 10 apple pies for no reason, for free? I suspect they were trying to shift surplus stock. Interesting manoeuvre since one of my selected "personal goals" was to lose weight. (????)
This isn't even the funniest thing, mind. Imagine my shock when, upon cancelling my subscription, they had the gall and the gumption to *send me an invoice* for said 10 apple pies. Absolute high jinks. It was not settled, needless to say.

Super helpful but expensive.
It is VERY expensive after you dont get the discounts anymore after first few weeks. If it was at the 25% off price all the time... i would continue forever! It just is that bit too expensive. However, the meals are so yummy and make life so easy. Its a difficult one......
Also, often the meals go out of date before the week is over. The use by date only lasts say 5 days when i'm suppose to be using them for the whole week.
I really do love the boxes but the price puts me off.

Fantastic meals and even better customer service! My girlfriend and I love FRIVE when we’re feeling lazy but don’t want to neglect nutrition.
We recently moved and forgot to update our address before the next order. They usually don’t allow alterations or cancellations once it’s the ordered has gone through. We went through the process of contacting customer services via the AI bot which I must say, was seamless. We received a response from Carla who is one their customer service employees informing us that they had cancelled the order and issued a refund. Amazing kindness and service.

Absolutely amazing meals. Been thinking of trying them for a while and the food is delicious. Love the limited plastic and diversity of choice. Away next week and it was super easy to skip with the discounts/free breakfast also being transferred a week.

I hate writing this but my experience has been so bad, I feel I need to share publicly since privately between myself and Frive we have been unable to resolve.
To start with, I’d like to say the food is great. I thought it was really tasty. So much so I ordered a second delivery, but then figured we didn’t really want to do it regularly so cancelled the subscription so that we could just order as and when we wanted to, instead. This is where the problems began… because Frive had already confirmed the second order and taken payment for it.
But when I cancelled the subscription, they also removed my delivery. But kept my money. And I wanted that delivery too! That’s the crazy part… I really wanted to receive the order and would definitely have ordered more in the future but… well read on to see what happened next because it’s a nightmare:
So I tried live chat. A bot. It said it could raise a ticket and someone will look within 24 hours. I’m 24 hours on now and nothing. In the meantime I thought I’d try their WhatsApp support. A bot again. No good. So I used email… oh joy… another bot. But this time it found my account, said I was outside the time for the delivery to be made and I was also outside the time to get a refund. So sorry.
So I responded saying I wanted to speak to an actual person. The bot said… someone would get back to me within 24 hours. Again.
There’s no telephone support. Every support channel is manned by bots and actual people seem to be few and far between (or even non-existent).
As much as I really like the product, I feel I should warn others that if something does go wrong, you’re going to be fobbed off by bots and sent down many rabbit holes. It’s incredibly frustrating and at this point my only remaining course of action seems to be to speak to my credit card company and raise a dispute. I don’t want to do this but a company that hides behind walls of bots and can’t respond to a simple issue within 24 hours during the working week leaves me with little choice.
