Easily the worst experience

At first, I had no problems with Frostbite. I ordered a 1Gb server with a frozen+ panel (allowing for making backups, adding sub-users to the panel, etc.). I was able to play on my server for a couple of months.

Then the problems started. First they "updated" the panel, removing all of its functionality (including making backups). Then, "due to technical problems", I lost all my files on the server, including the world. They told me that I did not make a backup (although I don't see how I would be be able to, as they removed this functionality themselves). Luckily, I had made my own backup a couple of days prior to the accident.

They then moved my server to a US location despite the fact that I ordered it in the EU. They promised to move it back ASAP, but never did, so I had to cope with the high ping.

Finally, at the beginning of September, the US node on which my server was now hosted went offline and stayed that way. At this point, they stopped responding to the tickets. After about two and a half weeks of no service, I got fed up with them and cancelled my server.

So, my advice: stay away. Don't get tricked into using their services by the low prices they offer. You'll get nothing but frustration.

Horrible Host

I would not recommend this host. The customer service is horrible. They claim that their average response time is 32 minutes. When it is more like 32 hours. My server had a downtime of about a week so we asked for a full refund. (This took them about 3 days to reply). All they could offer was an extra 7 days added to my server. I had a terrible experience with this host. It may be cheap but it's not worth the horrible customer service and the deceiving prices.

Extremely Unrecommended

Recently I came across this server host, which I thought the prices were ridiculously low so, I decided to run my server off of this extremely cheap host. Things were going well the first week, then the second week came a long with this host and we were constantly getting server crashes and host-wide downtime. My server has been down for about a week now and frostbite finally replied saying they offer me an extra 7 days and bump us up to a higher performing server. I was assuming that this would fix everything but it just caused more destruction. All my server files were wiped and non of them were transferred over. We requested another ticket and they say there average response time is 32 minutes but it has been over 2 days. Also, the control pannel looks amazing, but when it comes to configuring your files you have to do it all on your pc then transfer it by ftp. (This is because Frostbite's custom control panel does not pick up on spaces, which is very ridiculous.) A warning to all server owners, do not rent from this host.

Terrible Host

FrostBite is probably the worst host I have dealt with while owning Minecraft Servers. In total this week, my server has been down 61 hours and it is only Thursday. The repair ETA's are just to buy them time.

The support response time of 32 minutes on their home page is fake. It is a total lie. I wait hours upon hours and sometimes even days for the host to respond to a simple question. And when they do, it's often a template answer of "Please refer to the main page of the FrozenPanel" or "Have you checked (insert obvious name here)'.

I would not suggest FrostBite to anyone wanting to start their own Mineraft Server.

Horrible, very much downtime, would not use again

I've ran servers for a little more than 3 years now, and never have I had so much issues with a host before. I just complained once again to them in a ticket, so I don't feel like writing a very long review, so I'll make it short but accurate.

in the last 2 weeks I have had about 2% uptime, the server constantly closes itself with no error in console whatsoever. The host was unable to fix this when I contacted them about it.

I bought a smaller server (2GB), for testing very simple plugins on. I got the details, logged in and the server did not work in any way. It said on the front page that they were aware of the issues, and that I should not contact them about it. Affter 2 weeks of it still not working, I made a ticket and it took them 48 hours to fix it. I asked for compensation for the very long delay, they said they'd look into it, but now very long after, I havn't gotten any compensation, not even a reply. The ticket was just closed.

I could keep going, but you get the point.
There's one good thing about this host, and one only. The control panel is sweet (when it works...), but you can find just as good control panels at other hosts.

I'd NOT use this host again.

Easily the worst host i've ever used.

When I first saw FrostBite advertised, it looked like an amazing deal. The pricing is good, the server specs are as advertised, however, there are a lot of flaws that have cost me loosing players and getting a worse reputation.
I am 2 months in to using them; and in this period I have had more downtime than with my previous host, who use the same data centres. I have had over 16 hours downtime in this period, for multiple reasons. On one of these, my servers crashed and the control panel was down, stopping me resolving the issues I was having. It took over 8 hours for them to get the control panel back up, costing me a lot of downtime in 1 day. This is made worse by clients not receiving any notification of server downtime / restarts, meaning I have to spend most my day refreshing the control panel and server status to check it is online. They also had a period of downtime where you weren't able to access FTP or start servers, they had an estimated fix time, however once it well passed that, I opened a support ticket with 'high' priority, which took the 5 hours to answer, and the answer was poor 'see the frozenpanel dashboard for why it is down' - which I had done. The dashboard also said servers would remain online, guess what? The next day when I woke up all my servers were offline.

My experience with the support is bad - in my experience the average support time is at least 1 hour, compared to the advertised 35 minutes on their homepage. Furthermore, the quality of the responses most the time is poor - they only seem to read part of the ticket, and respond to a different question completely.

Furthermore, their staff seen extremely unorganised. I asked about a scheduled restart that they were doing that didn't happen on the day, and was told that as it was the day after the restart had already happened and my services were down, however under 20 minutes after all servers were restarted.

I was also happy at first seeing a custom control panel, however I now come to realise custom doesn't mean good. The text editor online seems to corrupt most YAML files, making it almost useless having it there, and I am also experiencing errors where the RCON and Query ports allocated to my server are in use by another server, causing some of the stats to get messed up on the panel, and console issued commands not to deliver.

Furthermore, there was recently more downtime, as well as them loosing all (or most, I don't know if they have lost it all) clients server data. They said they would move me to a new node where I wanted, and I requested it in Europe however ended up with a server in America.

I would strongly recommend (at the time this review was written) not to use this host, as their services are currently below the standards they state.

Perfect Host

For such an affordable price I have had near to no downtime, great support and great quality servers with people like Liam & Daniel always on quick response on the support tickets and instant response on Skype only thing is that their panel is being worked on quite a lot which can get annoying when you want to access your server but because the panels being updated you cant but i'm sure its for the best but all in all I have had no major issues like I had done with other hosts!

Quality Host

FrostBite is a good server host for users who are looking to start a new server. The ControlPanel is unique and still in development. There is great features that make it unique compared to other control panels. The only issue I have is that support times can be slow.

One of the best hosts i've seen so far.

I'm not a little kid who was told to write this review, I am 16 years old, and i'm here to tell about this host.

This host has great performance, A smooth UI ( Even better than MCMYAdmin's, I must admit ) and i'll recommend this port to anyone. You can be a beginner, advanced, or intelligent at servers.

The host has cheap pricing, and a option to select if you want a dedicated server with SSH or without. Trust me, Your not gonna regret switching to this host, They have some of the best proccers available.

Thank you for reading this short review on the FrostBiteHosting service.

FrostBiteHosting also provides multiple different offers and events for their users. Best hosting company I have ever used.
