Excellent products and service
I ordered two barstools initially, and then placed an order for another. On each occasion of ordering the communication and customer care was excellent. The stools themselves are fabulous, incredibly stable without being heavy and easy to put together. I would not hesitate to use Furnwise again.

I ordered a single chair at the…
I ordered a single chair at the beginning of May. It was dispatched on time, and supposed to be delivered 15th May. The tracking stated the courier attempted to deliver but couldn’t even though I was in. I contacted Furnwise who spoke to the courier they use and told me the parcel was ‘too large’ to be delivered. This is a furniture company who has chosen to use a courier who cannot deliver a single flat pack chair?? They told me to wait another week, which I have and still no item.
They have emailed me today saying they cannot reship the item or refund me.

I had to return two coffee tables
I had to return two coffee tables. They refused to accept the custom charges twice, sending them back twice! I spent £100 pounds on return which they’re now refusing to reimburse.
Don’t bother buying from them if you’re in the UK. Their service is disgusting and abysmal and their tables look like giant eyesores. Don’t bother.

Beware, Disgraceful Service. Please read.
I ordered two chairs on 17/02 and was informed delivery would be one week later, then received an email saying there was a delay and items would be dispatched at the end of March for delivery the first week of April. I was moving so informed Furnwise of our new address on 26/2 which was confirmed by customer services. First week of April came and went. I was told the chairs had been dispatched but no explanation was given to why they hadn’t arrived. I emailed daily asking what the status was - I was never given a transparent answer, just excuses like the courier “requires more information, the courier hasn’t responded”. After waiting 8 weeks for a delivery that was meant to take a week, I asked if the chairs could be re dispatched and be delivered within 7 days, I was told no, even though the items were in stock and the information regarding delivery is 3 -4 working days! I asked for a refund- I’ve been told it will take 2 working days. The customer service is appalling, you can’t talk to a customer advisor, everything is done via email, its very frustrating when things go wrong like my order and you are not supplied with a clear transparent honest answer to why the order failed to be delivered. I strongly suspect someone at Furnwise was incompetent and failed to own up to their mistake, they never provided an answer to why my order failed to be delivered, when clearly they are at fault. I should of taken notice of the poor reviews this company receives rather than giving them the benefit of the doubt. The worse thing is it’s really apparent that they really don’t care about you as a customer. I never bother with reviews but please save your money and time and shop elsewhere. I think you can tell I’m really upset and disappointed with how I’ve been dealt with. Totally not valued as a person let alone a customer. Beware if your order goes wrong do not expect any form of decent customer service and care, just your emails being batted off with ridiculous excuses.

Excellent service all round - highly recommend
The company communicated with me through every step of the purchase to the delivery and were very responsive and helpful and friendly. I asked some questions about import tax and delivery times as the chair was coming from their warehouse in the Netherlands, but this didn't lengthen the delivery time or add on any tax costs to the price of the chair. I was so happy with my chair and my cat loves it too and asks to be spun round in it!

After a truly awful experience with a different company I was delighted to find the same chair here cheaper. I was kept fully appraised of delivery times etc. It arrived on the planned date. Was easy to assemble with their instructions. Quality is as described. I am really pleased with my purchase

Beware! Beware! Beware!
This is the worst online company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. I placed a simple order of 2 bar stools. The order got lost and I had to chase for weeks on end with poor customer service communication. Eventually only one arrived. Spent weeks chasing for the other one as they didn’t believe I’d only received one. Eventually they sent another one weeks after. When they arrived the quality was poor and the 4 legs wouldn’t sit level on the floor so I asked for a free return and refund. Initially they said I couldn’t prove a default so had to pay for return. After weeks of arguing they conceded. After waiting even longer for a refund they refunded me for one stool but not the other. Spent weeks chasing again and have finally got the last refund today; 1st March. Original order was placed in December last year. Don’t use this company, they are awful! Beware!

Not all it seems.
Ordered two chairs in middle of November. £342 each. I’ll come to why this is important soon.
Their website states “All products in stock and will be shipped within 24 hours”.
On the 10th February (three months after ordering and numerous excuses such as stuck in a canal) I cancelled.
To be fair they refunded immediately.
Anyway the same chair is now on sale for £399 as a “sale price” down from £459! Really?
It’s a shame because they seem to sell really good looking stuff no other companies do! But if they can’t fulfill their end of the deal what’s the point?

Terrible service
Ordered a chair on 11 December. They took my money immediately but I still haven't received it. I was sent an email on 16 Jan to say 1 week to shipping (which never happened) and when I emailed to find out why, they sent the same email they had sent 2 weeks before which was quite condescending. Not happy with this service at all 😡

Still waiting for parts/replacements after 3 months
I ordered four stools from Furnwise. The stools turned up fairly quickly, and they are nice, however, there were pieces missing from one of the boxes which means you can't assemble two of the stools. I thought it would be an easy fix as they state they have control over the whole manufacturing process. I asked for the replacements in October and I still haven't received them! I've emailed every few weeks and just keep getting told that they should be on their way. Very frustrating.
