We have recently had our home valued by surveyor Zoe CM Gardiner from your KIRKCALDY Office & couldn’t recommend her professionalism and thoroughness enough. she took time to talk us through all his findings and made what could have been an overwhelming experience for us, completely straightforward. We were pleasantly surprised by how quick everything was pulled together and felt confident if required discussing the home report with potential buyers of the property. I had an extremely bad experience with this company. I bought a house in dunfermline for £80,000 in 2009 and they're the company that carried out the home report. They clearly overvalued the property at the time as it was worth in the region of £68,000 at that time. I sold the property in 2014 and did not get a penny back despite investing £18,000 in the refurbishment of the property. I even got advice from an estate agent that valued the property and they agreed with me the property was overvalued by Graham & Sibbald. I was on the verge of taken legal advice as the estate agent thought I'd have a case but with legal costs it put me off. I would like people to be aware of this as I don't want the same thing happening to other people and be out of pocket by several thousands of pounds.
I already discussed this with you at the time but you did not pay any attention whatsoever. I lost a lot of money renovating that property and got no money back for the effort I put in. Back in 2014 when i sold the property a professional estate agent thought your home report value was inflated at the time you carried out the home report back in 2009. I do not understand why you want to discuss it now when you couldn't careless when I highlighted the issue to you back in 2014. I lost several thousands of pounds due to your hone report value. I just want people to be aware, so they do not lose thousands of pounds purchasing a property that is overinflated in value by the surveyor.

Impressive efficiency and professionalism.
The survey was carried out in an unobtrusive manner. The draft report arrived a day later with a couple of alterations required. These were made and the final Home Report was issued the same day.

Graham + Sibbald were incredibly helpful in providing a building condition survey for our office building. The team were quick to respond to our request. The team showed up on site when they had arranged to and were very thorough with their investigation. The documentation was provided within the promised 14 day period and provided exactly what we were looking for from this survey. I would highly recommend Graham + Sibbald to anyone wishing to undergo a building survey.

Andrew was very pleasant and explained the process in an easy to understand way. He carried out the survey in a thorough and very professional way and ran over some of his findings with us.
Our property is in need of some modernisation and we were worried that it would be bad but although there were a number of twos he assured us that most were cosmetic or standard for the type of Dwelling.
The valuation was fair so we're happy with it.

From my first dealing Graham+ Sibbald were excellent, I was amazed how professional the survey was and the surveyors who came to my home were very thorough and also respectful of my property.
