-1 for the rating. They don’t have any customer service at all. I have been following up with them regarding our travel voucher but no reply at all. All their phone numbers do not work and it is impossible to get refund as BA redirects us to them. How can we file a legal action against them?!

My flight was Cancelled by the AirLine…

My flight was Cancelled by the AirLine (British Airways) that was scheduled on 6-Apr. Now, BA is saying get connect with gate1.ca for update and gate1.ca is not responding to any of my web email.
It's more than 4 months now and still waiting for my refund.

Scam - group of tix.nl, flighttix.pl, other gate1....

My Emirates flight was canceled during COVID-19.
After moths of emails they sent automatic reply that I get only voucher for one year to use with them.
I replied that not acceptable, not in accordance with law.
After moths got response that I will get money, minus their fees for processing, and much dealing with this, and money are on way.
After weeks still no money arrived.
I will need to follow up with legal action soon.

DONT BOOK , AVOID THE HEADACHE

I cannot begin to explain how bad of a company this is. Please don't waste your time booking, as your booking is 50/50. And if by an off chance your booking gets confirmed your flight would be changed to one that you didn't pick. After my flight was changed i made several attempts for weeks to get my flight adjusted to one that suits me as the new itinerary leaves in layover for 20 hours!!!This was impossible to complete . Save your self the tears and headache

Total scam! After I paid, they cancelled the flights and send me a rude and condescending email. Their contact information does not work, they are unreachable. Avoid this company at all cost!

Legal action, need help…

There is no longer a customer service line and they haven't replied to any of my emails in the past 4months. I was told that I could change my ticket because of COVID and never heard from them. THEY OWE ME A PLANE TICKET. I was to take legal action, any recommendations?

DO NOT TRUST THEM!

Booked a flight, needed to change my date. Their policy states you can only change to the same airline. I checked the airline schedule itself there was a flight the date I wanted to change to, but that flight did not come up on the gate1.ca site. Tried to contact them via their web form and did some detective work to find a couple phone numbers both of which are either automated messages that they are not available or just simply out of service. Can not change my ticket, had to cancel and re-book with the airline directly. DO NOT use these people - they are also affiliated with tix.nl and a bunch of other similar sites.

Worst company

Worst company. Government should sue this company because all they are doing is ripping of people and not giving money back . What type of legal business is this ? My flight is booked for September i want to change or cancel is but they don't have any customer service . I filled out a form provided on a site but still i did not receive any response . And honestly i am never gonna get my money back .so never ever book a flight from this company

We had several trips booked with Gate 1…

We had several trips booked with Gate 1 including a April 2020 Vietnam trip. We ended up cancelling this trip because of Covid-19 and requested a refund for airfare and the trip. We were told that it may take up to 6 weeks for a refund however a credit was applied to the credit card within a week minus a $50 pp cancellation fee. Our next Gate 1 trip is May 2021 and hope to travel when it is safe to do so.

Tania Tonnu I don’t recommend Gate 1 , first time bought a tour with them to Europe.Travel date was May 2020 . Unfortunately the pandemic happened , peak time was early March 2020 , especially Europe . We called and cancelled the trip couple days after they sent an email informed us that some travel members got infected with virus while on the tours ( didn’t say where).They advised us have the voucher for future travel otherwise we will loose few thousands. Also they took away $ 600 for airline penalty no matter what. We contacted KLM airline , they confirmed NEVER CHARGE PENALTY, they even refunded the money we updated for more comfortable seats for our flights . After few months and many phone calls to Gate 1 travel they refund our money MINUS flight penalty 600 and 480 for travel insurance. They are very smart and crook, we paid them the first part with credit card , that included cost of flights and travel insurance, the rest of balance paid by check ( To save 5% base on their advise), they refund full by credit card , took off $1080 from the check part , so didn’t leave any trace or proof and we can’t complain or dispute with credit card company. So is a lesson for us and I bring up here hope you don‘t get hooked with them . Again Gate 1 travel what ever or how cheap your tours are , we never book with you again and hope the rest of travelers. No one charge penalty for the trip more than 2 months away , Airline confirmed many time that they don’t take money away from us , no one does during pandemic. Travel insurance?? What is travel insurance? charge for the trip can’t happen during PANDEMIC ????Gate 1 : You only tricked us 1 time ok No more

Airline refunded 3 months ago, I have yet to see the $$$

My flight was cancelled due to inclement weather in FEBRUARY. The airline promptly refunded gate1 that same week. I have still yet to receive the refund back to my credit card even tho they claim it should only take 1-3 days. It's now MAY... I emailed 3 weeks ago, still no response. Why doesn't this company have a phone number?

The customer service is terrible

The customer service is terrible at this company. When my flights were cancelled the airline processed the refund back to Gate1 that same week. However it has taken over a month and still no money back from gate1. Their website policy says they will refund within 2 days. Customer service is unreachable and when I email they just come up with a copy and paste response saying “thanks for your patience”. THIS IS WHY THE PRICES ARE SO LOW!

I asked many times on the email but always same answer now too busy.
I have to buy new ticket so I want to gate1 refund me as soon as possible.

Just want to say F***

F* crazy company never ever. My flight has been canceled automatically then i didn’t get the refund. I sent refund requested email to them and tried to make a call but never answer. This company has fraud to customer through this worth situation. Awful and disgusting travel company.

An absolute shitshow.
Booked tickets to mexico and requested a cancellation due to covid after canadian govt suggested travel ban. Gate1 says they will refund but airline says no refund since you bought from agency and any rebooking should be done in 12months and on the same sector..they removed the contact details from the website - only email. They just dgaf

No customer service provided AT ALL after you sent the new flight plan that you cannot actually make because there’s negative 1 hour connection time...???? Like... what’s wrong with you?? Just give the airlines the permission to change my flights if you CAN’T control this situation!!!!
