An absolute disaster- took my money…

An absolute disaster- took my money then cancelled our seat selection sent a partial refund and suggested we contact the airline - who do not regonize the booking confirmation nor the ticket numbers Now we have a flight booking but NO seats !!
Emails are now being ignored- the phone number auto answers to tell you the office is closed - my next action is to lodge a complaint to the European Consumer Centre and NEVER use Gate1 again, the airline United Airlines are no better ,same issue no working phone number no way of interacting with them either by email website or online chat - but to be fair my contract is with Gate1

The airline confirmed yesterday that tickets sold to us could not allow pre booked seats - we can only book seats 24hours before depature !! We would not have booked with Gate1 if we knew this - this companies business is selling airline tickets so had to know what they sold us was not possible !!
We were mis - sold and decieved .

Update 1/3/24

United airlines saves the day !!
They found us the seats at no charge - fantastic customer service also allowed us check in online .

Moral of the story book with the airline not a 3rd party Ticket Seller !!

Gate 1 net site

It was actually cheaper through the Gate 1. I was on other net sites and everytime I was going to pay it stopped and then the price was much higher this one stayed on track and I don't have to start all over again

very poor response.
No Phone customer service contact , just auto canned responses. Changing flights a nightmare. Don't use this service

I paid after more than few hours and I…

I paid after more than few hours and I got the first price I searched.unbelievable! The other companies changed the price so quickly, but Gate1 frozen my reservation. Perfect, I really recommend.
I was afraid of because the price got so high and they were the same. However, I read a comment here and it was helpful.
Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences.
