Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs. I have significant amount of ripple on Gatehub and their phone authentication stopped working. I've been trying to reset/disable it and their customer service is not responding.

Pay attention when you create a wallet …

Pay attention when you create a wallet on Gatehub. First thing to know is that a Ripple wallet need at least 20 XRP to be active and on Gatehub you cannot enable it depositing a different cryptocurrency (on the official guide on their site this is not well stated). You must deposit 20 XRP to enable it. Once it is activated you cannot withdraw the 20 XRP and this is the minimum amount of coin that must stay in the wallet. After the activation you can enable the trust line to receive other cryptocurrencies but you need 5 XRP for every trustline. But these points are made by design of the Ripple cryptocurrency (you can also use an hosted wallet that does not have the minimum reserves). The problem is that I deposited some DASH and only after some days it arrived to the wallet and they deposited half the coin I sent. I contacted the support but it is very very slow. Look for another service if you want to deposit other crypto or if you plan to use it for trading because at this time the service is unripe.

Gatehub... Please!!! Help your customers!!

Gatehub must be the worst wallet ever!!! I exchanged my XRP to BCH about 10 days ago because I wanted to use the small profit made to buy some other coins using another wallet. Also I was surprised and gutted to see 25 XRP placed on hold because trust had to be setted. After a while, I traded from BCH to ETH. I must say that both transactions went well and fast... in the end because I could not transfer to another wallet, I thought: ok, exchange to EUR, cash out via EU Bank transfer, take the costs and done! This is where it all got absolute crap. My EU bank gateway is pending!! I requested gateway upon openjng my gatehub wallet about 3 weeks ago... And it has been since... I do not understand why the gateway is not being approved so contacted them after not getting any wiser from the poor tutorials and support pages. 2 tickets and e week later still nothing. This site is freaking frustrating, never experienced such a poor site and upport ever! At this point I just want to get my money and leave!!!

I hope that this message will help in opening Gatehub eyes, solve the issues and make me and many other users re-think about out poor reviews.... ☹️

Like many others ive lost a lot of …

Like many others ive lost a lot of money that was supposed to have been SEPA bank transferred out of my Gatehub wallet but simply disappeared! No response from support, no help or assistance. On the face of it it seems to be an elaborate scam to steal money.

XRP deposits will normally be credited within minutes.

Other cryptocurrency (BTC, ETH,DASH,...) deposits will normally be deposited within one hour since being first confirmed on the corresponding network (Bitcoin or Ethereum/Classic).

GateHub Scam - Losing your Tokens

This Exchange and their people are in all over their heads.
They don't seem to be in control of their Site, Software and the GateHubs to exchange with other Coins/Tokens.
When transfering ETC out of GateHub they use some hot-/cold-wallets as intermediary solution, but not transfering to your final Wallet-Adress.
Basically at this poin I would call it outright stealing your Coins, as there is no information or notifcation where the Tokens/Coins are at any given moment.
On top of that not 1 effin respond to any support tickets or requests, let alone you are not able to access the support page/site when you logged into the Wallet on their Site.. Thats professionalism at the lowest level..

If you also run into this kind of situation with these folks, only way left is to take legal action.. Which I am in the process doing right now

@GateHub: if you should read & care about heavy user feedback of your solutions, feel free to get in touch.. I will post these warning on every social media/patform available. People should know how professional you really are and hopefully avoid you like the pestelence

GATEHUB or FAKEHUB...Extremely slow service

Extremely slow service if it is a service at all, verification stage was slow, sent Euro SEPA transfer and still have not received as cannot set up trust. Impossible to enable wallet without 20XRP, which gatehub advises will be added as soon as funds have been received. No response to email sent,will send continuous emails until a response/solution is received.

Was the same story as all the rest...(updated)

Update...(origional review below)

A short while back my account was credited with the required ripple to allow the wallet to work. The wallet now works as it should and at gatehubs expense. I have been able to transfer to, and from it near instantly without fault or delay.

Works like it should, site is decent. Can't really complain.
Obviously I've not had money go missing like some report so I can't comment on such matters.

This is the same story as all the rest, I transferred 2 LTC (only meant to do 1 I looked away monetarily and my screen looked like it had done nothing, so unfortunately clicked again, grrrr!!) to my newly set up wallet, transactions went through fine. Then I get an email saying the money cannot be deposited because I don't have an active trust line and to follow the link. Seems easy enough. Then the issue, you cannot set up an active trust line without having 20 ripple in your wallet, but I cannot get 20 XRP in your wallet without exchanging the ETH to XRP, which you cannot do without the trust line. To top it off it is an extra 5 XRP per trust line so I need a minimum of 25XRP to get started, and the wallet will not function of the balance goes below 20!
Customer service is zero help. I have read that once you manage to do this bit the wallet is functional...I hope this is the case, won't hold my breath.

No customer service. Did a withdrawal 4 weeks ago still haven't seen my money. There were more people complaining about this issue on reddit and various other review websites.

I am beyond disappointed in Gatehub!

I am beyond disappointed in Gatehub!! It took 4 days for the 20XRP to show up in our wallet...which is an insane amount of time. Then, we established a Trust Line 48 hours ago and our money still is not showing up in our Wallet, which has cleared from our initial account. I have been emailing them, their response is that it can take "several hours" for our transaction to be completed, however it has been way more than "several hours". Our money is in limbo and I'm fed up with their lack of communication and ability to process transactions in a proper time frame. Several hours is acceptable...several days is NOT!!! They came highly recommended and I cannot in any way recommend them to anyone I know!! This is a disgrace!!!

Another cowboy of crypto market?!?

I have setup GateHub wallet back in December to store my Ripple. Later decided to move my coins elsewhere. I then realised that creator of that wallet has put in place a cheeky reserve where 20XRP will always have to remain in that wallet. It has not been mentioned when creating wallet (it should have been highlighted, in which case I would have never setup that wallet). My account has not been credited with 20 XRP when setting it up (unlike wallets of some other people) so looks like I have "donated" 20 XRP to GateHub.
I suggest you keep your Ripple elsewhere.

Riddled with error codes

I followed the instructions then transferred my ETH. My wallet has never been activated, is has been roughly over 30 hours since the transfer.
Every time I try and enable the ETH trust line I receive an error message. Same issue as everyone else no one to contact to get this resolved. On hindsight, I would have just stuck with Binance. Transferred to them shortly after I made the transfer to Gatehub and Binance completed it within 5 hours (during the mad rush).

It took 5 days for my transaction to be completed from Coinbase to Gatehub.Wasn't able to enable the trust line without an error code. I am hopeful the site isn't a scam however I haven't receive my coins.

Thanks for the success thus far and I will continue to keep everyone informed. I will also change my rating for the company.

Update: So Gatehub made good on the transfer today. I received my ETH in my account. The transaction took a very long time which I missed some opportunities but I am very thankful the transaction was a success.

I updated from one star to 3 stars cause there was some friction to the transaction but not a scam. As the experience becomes quicker I will post and update the stars.

I deposited 0.055 etherium valued at …

A month ago (start December) I deposited 0.055 etherium valued at about $50 at the time, and it took 2 weeks for the trustline to be activated without the error appearing. I had followed the correct procedure by reading how to do so on here. Yet the error was causing a problem and their support took weeks to respond.
On top of this when the wallet was finally activated 2 weeks on, there was missing funds and still is. The extra $30 had still not appeared in the ripple wallet only $20 is there (note the 20xrp was credited at a time ripple was about 0.8$). They do not respond to my multiple requests , only an automated message about setting the trustline.
Therefore I consider this site rogue, and I do not not who to complain to or to go to for assistance.
I have had my currency stolen from them as it stands.

UPDATE: 2nd Jan, as of today they have updated my wallet with the missing etherium. Took a month but at least I have now been credited with the funds that went missing.

This organisation is a confidence trick. They do not tell you befire you sign up what their fees are. Bitcoin transactions are a minimum of 0.005 BTC. currently $70USD. This is TOTALLY MISLEADING AND ILLEGAL. Stay away from this crap company.

This is a scam that has fooled a generation.

Transferred £50 of Ethereum from Coinbase to GateHub in order to get exchange it for XRP. Coinbase shows the transaction was a success but no money has appeared in my GateHub wallet. It has been many hours since this transaction.

No customer support whatsoever. They do not answer emails, tweets or any other method of support you can think off. If you trawl Twitter, online blogs and numerous other channels you will see that this is the case for hundreds if not thousands of users.

Hold off until there is a more reliable and regulated provider. People are getting way too hyped about the potential of crypto and being scammed in the process.

**UPDATE**

Almost immediately after writing this review my XRP wallet is now active and the base minimum of 20 XRP has been deposited in to it. I am still awaiting the remaining balance from my transfer and will update if this should ever arrive.

**UPDATE 2**

The funds have now appeared in my XRP wallet. It's taken all day and XRP has risen in value by 20p in the interim. I would have been in a better financial position had this transaction gone through in the advertised timeframes. Still no response on tickets or social media.

**UPDATE 3**

I can confirm this website is a total scam. Despite online stating that to have a wallet on Gatehub you must have 20XRP in there at all times, it seems that this is 50 XRP. They base the amount on how many "trustlines" you have. I have none. They will only let me trade 20 XRP. In essence they have stolen 50XRP and indeed £50. Their customer support do not answer emails, support tickets, twitter posts, NOTHING.

THIS IS A SCAM. Do not believe the hype. So many people have bought into XRP hoping it will be "the next big thing" and that their pennies will turn them into overnight millionaires. The reality is that this is an unregulated industry run by anonymous cowboys who are only to happy to take your cash and make it absolutely impossible to get back. You are quite literally investing in nothing. Please please please don't follow the crowd and instead invest your money with a solid financial advisor who can get you genuinely good returns and crucially get them back in to your bank account.

Look at the reviews on here. Don't be another fool!

Horrible garbage company, also probably thieves

Sent some ETH to my gatehub account and it never arrived. Per etherscan, the transaction is completed. Obviously no reply from customer service. Absolutely horrible experience, fortunately only lost a little, but still furious. 0/10, would never do business with again.
