I primarily use the website to search for Heljan Spare Parts which to say at the least can be very difficult because there are no images or drawings of the parts, and in many cases descriptions, aided by the search facility not appearing to work as it displays completely irrelevant products. This may be because there is no common system deployed in cataloguing the items which makes the entire experience very poor, frustrating, time wasting. Oh then there are links to pages that no longer exist.

Visited the Gaugemaster shop at Ford, amazing selection of all scales model railways, the shop had changed interior since my last visit, were working layouts, enjoyable but can be expensive visit, staff were helpful, one big downside is lack of pricing on railway buildings and accessories.

A comprehensive stock of many different scales. The shop has been completely rearranged and nobody has much idea where things are and the placement of some items is confusing and illogical (a member of staffs comment). I model 0 gauge which as most know is about twice the size of 00 scale but it doesn't mean 0 gauge modellers are twice as tall as 00 modellers so putting the wagons and locos 3 metres off the floor isn't the cleverest thing to do. If the wagons were at least visible instead of only the labels on the box end which most can't read. You need to rethink this .

When you have an article in stock it comes really quickly. Which is good.
When an article is out of stock but can be ordered it takes for ever to arrive and there are no updates about progress or possible delivery date. Sometimes, eventually a message comes that it is no longer available. This is frustrating and bad.
I currently have two models caught up on this limbo land of “on order”

I am very impressed by the speed of dispatch following an order. To be honest, I feel they are a little on the pricy side but there is no denying the quality.

We ordered some vouchers from you for a retirement gift for one of our staff members. You delivered them really quickly however I am giving 3 stars due to the fact that the vouchers cannot be used online and for the really archaic process in terms of using them. I think you have great products however, you must be losing a lot of business that you don't even realise you are losing due to the arduous way your vouchers work. There are a lot of company's offering similar products but with a modern gift voucher offering. I really wasn't going to purchase them because of this and only ended up doing so after the employee said it would be okay.

Very helpful about a couple of issues I was having.

Product ordered from website was not as described. Would not use again.
