Great van, really well done out. Excellent support after buying. Couldn't have asked for a better experience buying a camper!

We used John’s services to help us with our conversion, doing the more technical stuff, window installation and full electrical set up from solar panels to inverter and battery, with shore hookup and battery to battery charging.
Everything he has done has been completed as promised and extremely promptly, it has been a pleasure to deal with him, and I value the advice he’s given me on aspects of the build we hope to complete ourselves.
We are so glad we found him!

Craig's knowledge and experience was helpful in ensuring I got the best options for my van. He kept me informed and up-to-date with progress. The handover was comprehensive met with generous hospitality.

I had been looking for my ideal campervan for 2 years. It was the biggest single purchase of my life and John made it a brilliant one! Not only is the van excellently converted, but prior to purchase I had an AA inspection on the van itself completed (John was happy to facilitate this in my absence) and when the inspector rang me to inform me of the great condition of the van for its age and mileage, he couldn't help himself from raving about the innovative ideas, within the conversion, that John had designed and made.

A week later, when I arrived to see my Queen Bee, she was even better than the photos used to advertise her! As John showed me around, his passion and enthusiasm for converting her was evident. The way he had thought through all the practicalities, as well as ensuring comfort when staying in her. I was blown away and couldn't buy her and drive her home, to start using her, quick enough. I have kept in touch with John, not just to update him on our adventures, but also because he has been more than happy to help me with any questions or queries I have had from time to time about how best to do things or recommendations for accessories etc. Thank you so much John for your knowledge and support into my new (part time) VANLIFE.

I have used Jon at GB Campers on a number of van ranging from carpeting and window fitting to making bespoke beds and units to suit our needs. Fantastic work as always and would take any van to him in a heart beat. Highly recommend👍

I bought Odin, my T5 campervan from John 3 years ago. It had been lovingly and brilliantly converted, so much thought and skill had been put into making the van perfect to live in. I can't recommend Graig Barn more to anyone thinking of buying a campervan from them. Just the best!

We have recently bought the latest van conversion from Graig Barn campers (... The big, green one on Instagram!) and from start to finish and picking up last Friday they were a pleasure to deal with. The van has been converted with love, care and attention to detail and John is clearly passionate about what he does. We love how the van includes local materials like the wood on the ceiling and the great use of space inside makes it seem so spacious. There is plenty of storage space to include our two paddle boards and lots of storage over the cab and in the drawers, no space has been wasted or over-looked, John even made an extra box to cover the porta loo. We had a long train journey to pick up the van last week and John came to pick us up at the local station. He spent a long time clearly explaining how everything works as this is our first van experience and we felt confident driving home in it. All the paperwork from MOT s etc was available and even a box of cassette tapes! Thanks Graig Barn campers... We are very excited for our van adventures to come! 💚

We approached John to carry out a number of upgrades to our Mercedes Sprinter. Over the course of the work we got to know him a bit better - nice lad. We got the feeling he has a lot of experience, as he noticed a number of improvements we could make to the existing setup.

…Long story short we have just concluded 6 months of touring around Europe as far as Albania. John installed a 12v heating and battery system incorporating solar, which proved completely reliable and critical for our trip, as well as a 12v fridge/freezer, roof fan, and some insulating work. All of this made the adventure FAR more comfortable!

Thanks Graig Barn/John & Carly - we'd highly recommend them for anything van related. Communication was excellent - we knew exactly what work was being carried out, when, and received an accurate & fair quotation.
