They promise you your sofa never get it then they promise a refund you never get one lie after lie. Now I have all Sarah carter details I’ve now filed for a claim with the court.

Awful company and the response So like the other stories the sooner we get regulation on fraudsters like tho was promised 4 delivery dat s no sofa no refund I honestly don’t know how they can steal people’s money with no conscience feel so stupid for not doing my homework and falling for this scam they tell u any excuse

I have reached my limit with them, I ordered and paid for two sofas in February, a few weeks later I was contacted to say my sofas were ready for delivery, could I pay the remaining balance, we did, and waited, and waited and waited, nothing!,i then there was a few other unhappy people who contacted me, with the same problem, no response from anyone, or if you do get a response its just more lies, a Facebook page was formed, most have forced her into giving them a refund, well done guys, I on the other hand had been assured my sofas were out for delivery, great I thought, then a delivery guy turned up with a sofa, not the one we ordered and paid for, but he insisted we took delivery, I have been constantly chasing g b sofa to collect these, and bring the sofas I ordered and paid in full , well another week of lies and false promises, still haven't got my money back or sofa's, I have been told its the manufacturer's fault, the drivers fault, its just totally unacceptable, I have family coming to stay this weekend, and I have nothing to sit on, a sofa still wrapped up now in my conservatory which is a apparently going to used to complete another order , she is just ignoring me, and refusing to help, so please please don't buy anything from these guys, save yourself a load of hassle, oh and for some reason everyone who complains gets blocked from the Facebook page, and all the poor reviews get removed, please please resurch before paying any money

Fast delivery sofa is well made happy with my purchase

Ordered my sofa, paid £150 deposit was told I would receive my sofa within 7-11 days, nothing on the 11th day, kept getting excuses every time my sofa was ment to turn up on given delivery date, I said I want my deposit back on the 3rd week as I was sick of waiting and wanted to go somewhere local, said are you still wanting a refund? Can deliver sofa tomorrow sounded genuine this time round and I said only if this is true please this is the last time if it doesn’t turn up just give me my money back but it actually did turn up the next morning and I was over the moon with my sofas but I wasn’t happy atall with the response time, excuses and how unprofessional they are.

Paid over 6 weeks ago for a sofa. It never arrived, they took £650 and have lied about refunding. Said they will go to the bank, even said daughter was in hospital! Sick women! Next we will be going to court. Please call trading standards and the fraud investigation bureau. They have lots of reports now so the more people report her the worse it's getting. She will pay!

Do not buy from these people. They take your money and then dont send you the sofa, they are doing this to lots of people.

Make promise after promise, tell you refund will be in your bank on a certain day, never turns up, ignores phone calls and messages..absoloulty disgusting stay well clear of them. Am still waiting for my refund. Please be aware, its unacceptable and you need to be careful

Absolute shocking experience from beginning to end! I was asked to pay a 50% deposit for the sofa I chose, was finally given a delivery date but it never turned up! This is when the excuses started from sarah carter...two weeks down the line, having to sit on the floor due to no sofa and still waiting for a refund after being promised one but was excuse after excuse as to why it was taking so long!
Today is the end of the stress as I finally received my refund but I do not recommend this company one bit! Stay well clear!!!!

Never received sofa, or a refund. Very bad, the lady does nothing but lie constantly. I tried to be nice and patient. Stay well clear

after waiting for 7/8 weeks for my sofa after being told it would be here in the first 2 weeks we finally got our sofa even though she started to ‘process a refund’. We have now been waiting since getting our sofa for the foot stall that comes with the sofa which we paid extra for didn’t turn up. We then asked for a refund on the foot stall on the 26th of March 2019. We have still not yet received one. There has been a lot of complaints about this company and I wish I looked into it further. Trust me and go else where. Will save you a lot of hassle.

This company is a total scam, read the reviews and very much replicated in my experience. When asking for a refund Sarah is very nice and tells you she is going to the bank that day to sort..no it doesn't happen!!!! She even used her daughter (if she has one) as an excuse as to why she didn't get to bank.. disgusting! I put angry faces on FB and she asked me to take them off and promised refund yet again. This has been going on since January and I do not intend to give in to this low life. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY TO THIS SCUM!!!!!

Absolute joke of a “company”.
Sofas that didn’t arrive on two occasions. Cancelled the order and now waiting on a refund which considering they will not answer emails; I doubt I’ll be getting anything back.

Do yourselves a favour and order from anyone other than these scammers.

I ordered my sofa on the 3rd of april was delivered on the 5th of april only 2day waiting for deliverey excellent service and great communication service so happy with my sofa i am now ordering the chair to go with it thankyou so much GB sofa company highley recommended 😍

Stolen money. No sofa no refund!! Blocks you on social media! Cannot believe this woman Sarah! Excuse after excuse and now reporting all these reviews as fake?! What a joke as 6 months later we still not had refund or sofa. Have now taken them to court and been awarded... AWAITING OUR MONEY BACK!!!!

My daughter Was told that She could pay cash on delivery and then given a delivery date for it not to turn up then to be told this was because She had to pay a deposit of £200 paid this to be then given a new delivery date again did not turn up this happened 4 different time with appalling excuses why each time for them not to turn up asked for a refund still waiting after being told it would take 3 working days to go through to , still be waiting after 7 days .I have now been blocked by then as they didn’t like the message I sent them regarding the unacceptable so called professional behaviour that they have being giving my daughter. Would not recommend this company , would not like anyone else to go through what my daughter has gone through with them.

.company managee paid my refund only after I blackmailed her. After she didn't send couches and lied saying she had .woman isnt what she makes out
papers and trading standards act have been informed and police phoned and a complaint logged

I cannot recommend enough I ordered a corner sofa from this company within 7days I received the sofa but from start to finish they helped me they came out and measured up to check it would fit and kept me updated I will definitely be useing again now that they are expanding and doing beds and other items cheers joe and Sarah xx

Couldn’t recommend this company enough, excellent customer service from start to finish, replies within minutes and very patient when I was choosing which sofa I wanted. I’ve always been very jubious about buying online, over Facebook etc but GBSofaCo have definitely restored my faith, ordered my sofa beginning of January and got given a timescale of two weeks, I was always given updates when asked and they worked around the time I needed the sofa. My sofa arrived within 13 days and it’s perfect, exactly what I ordered! Will definitely be ordering more from this company as they went above and beyond to make sure I got the best service possible!!!
