ABSOLUTELY SCUM

Do not invest anything into this scumbag of a company, they will steal your money/crypto then lock your account and every once in a while they will send you an email saying for you to hold up 3 items with a view of your full face in a single photo all well knowing that doing so in 99% impossible then they will completely ignore you till you bombard them with emails to get a nauseating reply asking you to send another photo of your face while holding 3 items

THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY SCAMMING THIEVING SCUMBAGS

This company has the worst customer…

This company has the worst customer service in the crypto industry. I have been with them for over 2 years. I needed to change my email address because my old email address no longer exists. They have put me thru hell to try and change it. I did everything they asked and they still not change it.

Gemini App & Customer Support can't be Trusted

Gemini verification process resembles an Identity gathering scam Since 9/10 to 10/2/25 I've not been able to sign into my account I've replied to over 15 support tickets 3 verification photo's & 5 motion videos holding signs in front of my face with support ticket numbers hand written with the date of video/photos and my drivers Lic. and they did nothing to allow me to sign-in. Gemini should be suited for federal regulation violations. I still cant sign into my account after depositing over 12K in cash and Bitcoin. They're sending emails that suggest I should freeze my account. If I freeze it they'll have total control over my deposits. Friends don't freeze your accounts it will take for ever to un-freeze it while they add your money to their over all worth. The passkey verification is preventing my sign in. What a disgusting experience Gemini invokes :{

GEMINI SUPPORT IS NON-EXISTENT

On August 17th I signed up via a referral and according to the terms needed to make $100 worth of trades to qualify for promotion this was completed the same day I signed up. I received an email from Gemini congratulating me on earning my $75 reward for completing the required steps.

Fast forward to now which is approximately 45 days later and I have yet to recieve my reward and their support team has neglected the numerous emails I’ve sent out and has not responded to any of them.

Highly do not recommend anyone signing up to their platform awful customer support is no place to take your business.

Missing Withdrawal – No Resolution from Gemini


I am furious with Gemini. I initiated several withdrawals amounting to over $500 on 9/23, and it has been stuck in “processing” ever since. Their own timeline for completion has long passed, yet I still have no access to my funds.

I’ve reached out to Gemini support multiple times and received no real answers, just silence. This is my money, not theirs, and the lack of transparency is unacceptable.

I am now preparing to escalate this with regulators, because customers deserve better than being left in the dark while their funds are withheld.

Avoid Gemini unless you are prepared for delays, unresponsive support, and the possibility of your money being tied up indefinitely.

Very Deceptive Exchange

It appears as a great exchange and offers a good credit card.
But it’s all smoke.
I couldn’t even upload my photo ID, which is a good thing. But the credit card was approved. In that no customer service support team ever responded in over 48 hrs, I closed everything and gave notice to my bank.
Avoid Gemini.com like the plague!

I found out that it was a Ponzi scheme weeks ago when they refused to pay me I requested for withdrawal 5 times it was disapprove and the customer service is fully of crap they locked my account..……. Don’t be shy to seek help
I refused to let them go away with my money filed a complaint and got everything back within 48hours

A RICO organization

I recently set up a new account with Gemini. I successfully completed their KYC requirements. Once approved I used a debit card to transfer $100 then did an ACH transfer for $3500. I then purchased $3500 in Bitcoin. Once the transfer completed (3 days) I attempted to send $3500 of Bitcoin to my Tresor wallet. I was blocked and my account was frozen, and was I instructed to do the KYC over again
1. A view of your full face
2. Your ID that was used to register with Gemini
3. A handwritten note that includes the date the photo is being taken and sent, along with the code “[5650024]” written below
Three days later I received another requirement
Before we can lift restrictions from your account, we need you to provide the following information: (please provide as much detail as possible)
1. What is the cryptocurrency withdrawal address you are attempting to transfer assets to?
2. What is the intended destination of the withdrawal? (e.g. another crypto exchange, hardware wallet, etc)
3. What is the purpose of the transfer?
We look forward to hearing from you!

I replied
1. Address I am sending to bc1qmlz59ud4sncukpzy02qpfjfplfdkut5m0dr0tv
2. My hardware wallet
3. To have full possession of my crypto for long term storage
I was eventually able to sell the Bitcoin (at a loss) and wire the money back to my bank account (at a loss)
I then sent them this email
These delays are unprofessional. Would you please just return my money to my bank account?
A week later (BTW: The wire transfer worked) I received this email from them
Following review, Gemini has determined your account must be closed.
Although we understand you have questions as to the reasons behind this decision, Gemini is unable to disclose any further details. The risk review process is confidential, and Gemini will not be able to elaborate any further.
This company is running like a Nazi Gestapo organization by incompetent employees serving a very corrupt family. Save your money and frustration, go elsewhere.

Any company that doesn’t stay good on…

Any company that doesn’t stay good on their word or have customer service is not to be trusted. I have made referrals that I was supposed to get credit for and never received it. What makes it worse is they will not respond back and you can’t reach them on the phone.

At first I liked Gemini

At first I liked Gemini. A new crypto platform and the signup bonus was a good deal. Now, wish I never used the platform.
Like many others as soon as I got my rewards. They froze my account, it’s been frozen for three days now with my money and crypto in it. Customer support is no help, you have to email them there’s no live chat option. Customer service just gives a vague answer anyway, claiming someone will reach out soon, they don’t. Gemini is going to receive a lot of backlash behind these type of shady business practices. Stay away from Gemini.

Exchange and trading, swapping, transfer is complete garbage. The credit card functions must be from the 90’s because transfers and payments take 48-72 hours to post. Riddled with problems and bugs

Never trust their referral program it’s…

Never trust their referral program it’s a big lie. I received one email last month stating that I had earned my 75 for completing the requirements for it and this month today after asking last night about when I would receive my bonus I get told I didn’t meet the requirements after being told I would get the 75 because I met them.

This company is horrible!

This company is horrible!! You will get zero customer support and you will not even get a phone number to speak with anyone. I have been a customer for years, I thought someone had access to my account and locked it myself which was a huge mistake as they have frozen my whole account and have ghosted me so far for a month. Zero needs to be an option as they have earned it. As soon as the freeze is lifted I will run from this horrible company!!

I have been customer of Gemini since…2021

I have been customer of Gemini since 2021, recently I had to withdraw my crypto as I needed it. After buying it 15 days before I am not able to withdraw it. I submitted several tickets but none of them is answered. Crypto is a fast moving market, due to this delay I lost three times the value of crypto I wanted to withdraw. I will never recommend or refer anyone to Gemini anymore.

BEWARE: Extremely Poor Experience with Gemini – Locked Out, Ignored, and Forced to Take a Loss

I had a terrible experience with Gemini that I feel compelled to warn others about.

The app forced me to activate 2FA linked to my Gmail. However, the app failed to sync properly, resulting in repeated 2FA failures and ultimately a security block on my account.

I immediately raised a support ticket — and heard nothing for 13 days. Only after I posted about it on X and Reddit did I get a response.

What followed was another 15 days of frustrating back-and-forth emails, with Gemini support asking questions they should already have answers to. It became clear that their support team lacks basic understanding of how crypto works — I found myself having to explain fundamental concepts to them in nearly every response.

Despite my detailed explanations and their system failures, they refused to lift the security block or properly resolve the issue. They ultimately forced me to close my account, and because withdrawals were only allowed in fiat (not crypto), I was forced to sell my assets at a loss.

This experience has been unacceptable — slow, unskilled support, no transparency, and a complete lack of accountability. I strongly advise others to think twice before trusting Gemini with your assets.

Did deposit from revolut to gemini since 4 days and still didn't get the money in my account

Hello i did a transfer from my revolut account to gemini ( instant payment ) of 2429.63 euros since the 08/09/2025 and still did not get it in my gemini's account and the money already left my revolut . i wrote their support several times no concrete answer from them , only telling me that "this is your ticket number " . And now they gave gave me a new ticket number and my account is still not funded and no answer . if i do not have an answer i'll report you to your regulator and will spread the news everywhere for people to be aware of this scam.

Security Hold

Gemini has placed a “security hold” on my bitcoin withdrawal. This makes zero sense to me as it was a small withdrawal “under $100” and I also have passkey setup as well as other protections. They requested that i upload a selfie holding my ID and a handwritten note with date and code. I did that days ago and im still waiting for a release of my funds. I have messaged support multiple times about this and i have not received a response explaining what is happening. Ticket #5611014
