Genopalate was very thorough!
Genopalate was very thorough and gave me information and insight i wasn't even expecting. It told me I was likely to be sensitive to gluten, and knowing that, I could test it, and figured out the reason I was so bloated all the time! There's a lot of other useful things as well, but at this point this is the biggest deal for me!

GenoPalate is a complete and total waste of my money. The report was ridiculously generic and incorrect. I have been diagnosed by a GI with celiac disease and lactose intolerance— both come up as unlikely on my report. My top cheese was cottage cheese, which, in real life, causes me all kinds of irritation and GI issues.
I’d hoped this would help me resolve chronic stomach problems and it was a total bust. Don’t be a fool like I was — save your money and see a real nutritionist.

This was very helpful in clearing up some confusion I had around the GenoPalate results. I understand now that the foods chosen are more centered around the nutrients that my body needs. No audio. I downloaded the WebEx app - as instructed - but there was no sound. I do not find the GenoPalate ‘experience’ user friendly at all. I was planning on gifting my two nephews a GenoPalate analysis but after my unsatisfactory experience I am looking for a different purveyor.

I don’t think the GenoPalate is legit
I don’t think the GenoPalate is legit. They tell me to eat peanuts, but I have a sensitivity to them. They tell me to eat 60% carbs, but when I do I get bloated. There’s lots of things they suggest I eat that just don’t line up with my experience inside my own body. I don’t think their science works at this point.

I just got my results back and am very disappointed. Genopalate told me I could process caffeine better than most. I quit drinking caffeine when I was pregnant and breast feeding, when I tried adding it back to my diet in small amounts, I had rapid heartbeat and couldn’t sleep. I sent my DNA from Ancestry to Gini for a free analysis and was told I could only process one to two cups of caffeine a day. I know by experience this is accurate and is in direct contrast to what Genopalate told me. I now have no confidence that anything I’ve been told by Genopalate is accurate. I also found that the food recommendations were of very little value. There was simply a list with no information as to why one food might be preferable over another. Several of the foods were ones I have never heard of.

Interesting to read
It was interesting seeing the foods I should be eating. I liked receiving the lists of the best foods for me. However, this was very expensive for what you actually receive. I may feel better about it in a few weeks after I have started to include more of these foods in my meals. So far I would not recommend this to my friends or family. While I enjoyed reading it, it was a waste of money. Anyone with a good knowledge of nutrition already eats most of the recommended foods.

Terrible company! Already have a 23andme account, ordered the tests as Christmas gifts. They had the audacity to cancel my order because we are not ordering from inside the US, even though this is not mentioned anywhere on their website! It's a scam, do not order from them.

I would give this company a zero, but obviously that’s not an option. I uploaded my data from ancestry and all they did was reiterate what I already knew. They tell you to eat fruits, veggies, protein and healthy fat. Wow, as if the entire human population isn’t aware of that! This is a rip off. When you call them and question them they just say they are sorry. Then they offer you a nutritional consultation. I don’t need a nutritional consultation. I am still hoping that they will refund my $35 for myself and $35 for my husband. I am giving them another chance. They completely misrepresent what they can do for you. Again do not purchase this unless you like throwing away your money.

Terrible customer service. They canceled my order (that was a gift to someone) 7 days later when I had already gifted. They said it was due to me being outside of the USA. There was no information anywhere about not being able to do this.

Disappointed and Confused
I've registered for my consultation twice and both times the Webex link I received didn't work. Last week, after trying for 10 minutes to get in, I rescheduled for this week. Same experience this week but I gave it 15 minutes. Tonight, I received a follow up thanking me for attending and asking for a review.
