Product was fine, service was poor. I asked a question about the product using the online form, nobody responded. I asked for a call back as needed assistance, nobody called back.

Bought a Stihl FS55 strimmer on 4/7/25

Bought a Stihl FS55 strimmer on 4/7/25, had it delivered very quickly, was impressed, used it for around 30 minutes.

The next time i went to use it, it just will not run, attempted to contact George Browns multiple times but so far cannot actually get hold of anyone to help!? Just like what others are saying really, shame because I didn't expect this at all.

Wasn't wanting to leave a review like this but feel i have no choice

EDIT 19/07 Still no response from George Browns, only response I got was to this review LOL

Had a dealing with mr smith never got…

Had a dealing with mr smith never got back to me waited over 2 weeks did not answer his phone emails nothing,had to phone someone else in another store the gentlemen was great had my item at my house the very next day,I told him I wasn’t happy mr smith and he said he here’s that a lot,won’t be coming back due to me smith,

Poor service

Took a Stihl leaf blower in as the carb needing looking at, 3 weeks later they called to say that they couldn't fix it and carbs for that model were not available anymore. Fair enough. I ordered a clone carb but when I went to install it I found that one of the fuel lines was trapped between the two halves of the case and the other had been ripped in two with the filter half at the bottom of the fuel tank. Both were fine when I handed it over. There was no way they could have tested the carb after they said they had cleaned it!. I called up to complain but they said there was nothing they could do as it was too late and I could have done it!
The moral of the story is that if you have to use them, check your equipment thoroughly before leaving the shop. Ideally go elsewhere for repairs.

Trusted company for garden machinery.

Good price for what I was purchasing a petrol strimmer.Fast delivery but parts wasnt included with the kit however a phone call I made rectified and I gained and fixed the problem.
