Friendly and just great all round service

I was looking for an item of stihl kit that was out of stock everywhere,these guys had it and I was using it 2 days later.

Excellent service

Deal with lots of the team from sales,service and parts departments.
Excellent customer service every time, would not fault them in anyway, parts get delivered quickly and help and advice is always just a call away.

Excellent online support team

Prompt delivery, although the strimmer arrived poorly packed and missing a harness.
However…the help from the support team was truly superb - prompt, helpful and going a step beyond to rectify the issue as quickly as was feasible. They earned the five stars - packing and dispatch would have been three!

Lost in space

As of today 18 October, I still do not have the item I ordered on 8 October. DPD say they 'missed me' on 9 October. Yet I was at home, the door bell works, and no card left by delivery agent. Package was described as lost, and later showed as 'held at *** depot. Every day since then DPD tracking says "we will deliver to local pick-up point, and you can collect using pass which will appear here". The pass never appears. On 14 October, tracking showed the package as being returned to George Browns, However, tracking now shows the package simultaneously in three states "Being returned to George Browns; being delivered to local pick-up point; held at *** depot."
Unfortunately, for unknown reasons 4 update messages to George Browns, via the website contact form, were not picked up, which prompted initial review.
Thankfully, my initial review brought me in contact with support at georgebrowns, and since then Customer Support have been excellent and certainly earned 5*, leading me to amend my review and rating.
On 20 October a replacement item was sent for next day delivery. DPD driver recorded it as delivered to me, but GPS location was several streets away! Investigations to determine what happened to this, and presumably the original item, could take some time. To save further delay, George Browns have sent yet another replacement at their expense via FedEx today (22/10/25). This is a high value item, which has now been replaced twice because of issues at DPD, all at considerable time and extra cost. My thanks to George Browns for their perseverance.
