It's a good possibility to watch german TV when you are far from home

$300/ year is too expensive. Lots of content but should be same price as Netflix. Much of the content can be had for free using Mediatek app. Apps also don't work properly on several devices, so definitely try before you buy. I'd get this if they offered more functionality, better apps, and much better content than I can get for free+Netflix+Prime. Otherwise, the latter is better.

Easy and best on the go app to watch TV from my homeland Germany.

These guys are the real deal. Very impressed. Perfect if you need to keep up immersion in German Language and a gift for students.

If it even works in Australia 🇦🇺, I'm sure it'll work everywhere. Very professionally done.

This would be 5 stars, but the Payment types supported are a real hassle. It's like the 1980s - should be Google Play Subscription or VISA or Paypal.

It's a great app with a huge selection of national and local TV shows, sports and all types of movies from regional to Hollywood Blockbusters. The TV app isn't as good as the pc app, with at times buffering issues and I find myself resetting the TV app daily. The pc app is great. My connection is over 80mbps so I shouldn't be experiencing buffering issues. It also seems some channels are worse than others. I wish they would offer closed caption in German as this would help me expand my language skills. For $300 US (which they don't mention, so if your are not American brace yourself for the exchange) for the year on the premium package, it's a great deal for the year. $25US per month. I'll be subscribing soon.

All fine. It works without problems.

I studied German when I was a student, now I need to do the revision for work purposes and German TV really helps with this. I can exercise listening with understanding and by the way be up to date with all news from Germany. There is a wide selection of channels. I recommend it to all.

Overall a great service for German media. The only complaint is really in the cost breakdowns/ affordability of the service and then some minor bugs/ quirks when attempting to watch older (rewind) programs

We are a customer for a couple years now and enjoy the variety of different channels. Sometimes it stops, or the voice does not match the movie.

Been a customer for years (on and off) they are getting better with time. I like the TV Guide on the TV App. Sadly you don't have it on the computer. Would recommend to anybody

We've been customers of German TV Company for a couple of years. I was looking for German TV programming in the US so we could keep up on our language skills (and learn more) for when we visited family. The kids programming has kept my two entertained and also has some programming from Nickelodean/Disney that they are familiar with. The video library is extensive! Numerous new releases with a good balance of older movies...not just the newest, top-selling 3 movies then 40 or 50 movies from the 1970s, it is kept current. There are some older movies on there that one would enjoy also. ;-) The TV programming, even with just the Basic Package, has more channels than other German Package options via cable/satellite at a better price. "I don't want to stay up until 2 a.m. to watch my show." Well, you don't have to! There's also a DVR/Delay option. Access to programming is available on the computer, my Smart TV, and the Android app on my Samsung Galaxy Note. Customer service replies promptly...I have no complaints! This has been a wonderful service for us. If you still aren't sure? They also have a free trial so you can try them out.

German TV offers a great variety of Programs ,lots of Sport and News. I do like it a lot.

What a great Service from German TV company. I'm a loyal customer for over a year. Over 1000+ German language movies, live Sports Channels (Soccer, Bundesliga, Sky Channels, Formula 1 GP, Tennis, ARD, etc. ... News, German TV Shows, ... just loving it.
Just join and enjoy ... free trial ... very in-expensive ...

when you sent a free subscription myself a few months ago i was quite taken with the films on offer and was somewhat put out by lack of sporting events. P.S YOU SENT ME MY FREE SUBSCRIPTION LAST YEAR, THOUGH, SO THIS IS VERY LATE WHERE A REVIEW IS CONCERNED. PERHPAS YOUMISTAKE ME FOR ANOTHER AS IS YOUR WONT?

My wife, I and family continue to enjoy German TV daily. Our grandchildren now speaks and understand German by watching cartoons and other kids shows on German TV. We're thankful to have this program in America.
