Very happy

How to choose the best estate agent

I’m considering selling my house in the near future and put out an initial tentative on-line search to compare local estate agents. Within minutes, I received a comprehensive listing of local estate agents, rated in terms of %sales, %asking price met, fees, etc.
Shortly after I received my listings, Daisy from GetAgent rang me to explain how they could help and what I should look for. Daisy sent be a follow-up email with a list of very useful questions for me to ask the potential agents with additional guidance. I now feel prepared to invite agents to value my home and start the selling process.

Elizabeth John has been really helpful

Elizabeth John has been really helpful. After I entered my details I was contacted within 30 minutes. She ran through questions of where I was at, contact local estate agents for me & gave me a list of questions to ask them too. Brilliant service

Very interesting and informative…

Very interesting and informative report. Danny Watts followed up the report with a telephone call. At no point was Danny too pushy, and was a pleasure to talk too. The followup email provided some additional tips. Well worth doing.

Misleading. Dont waste your time.

Like others have commented, you are led to believe you will be sent information on Estate Agent fees to compare, which I expected via email. Within minutes I received a phone call from Get Agent and I have since received several emails either saying a a local estate agent will be in touch or a direct email from the agent. Very misleading.

Glad I used GetAgent.

I was uncertain how GetAgent would work, but I was very impressed with Janiel: he explained everything clearly and helpfully, and his follow-up communication was excellent and not pushy.

A helpful and informative service

Having registered my interest, I spoke to Lewis Bilham at Get Agent who was very helpful and informative in respect of my search for a suitable local estate agent to put our property on the market later this year.

I had a call from GetAgent then inundated with calls

I had a call from GetAgent after I did a search to get local agent fees. I specifically said I don't want my details to go to local agents. Within 2 min I had a local agent ringing me and have now had to block them. Also reading the comments below about additional fees is not welcome.

We have looked into this and identified that there was an error in the specified contact which meant that the agent was able to reach out via our call forwarding service rather than the agreed email-only contact. This has now been corrected and the call forwarding has been disabled, so you won’t receive any further contact.

For clarity, GetAgent is completely free to use. Agents should not charge any additional fee for using the service, if this was to occur we ensure that the necessary steps are taken to resolve this issue.
