90% of my DJ set up has come from these guys over the years and what a service they provide !
Popped into their brand new store in Colchester this week to grab myself some new headphones, was welcomed by Adam & Ryan who were happy to show me round the store and all it has to offer. They have a huge selection of the latest stock for just about anything you could be after. I think what sets these guys apart is the honest opinions and knowledge they provide, it makes such a difference getting advice and recommendations from guys active in the scene that have hands on experience with the products they are selling and know them inside and out. Whether that be producing music, DJ’ing at events or setting up a sound system, you know these guys are helping you get exactly what you need rather than selling to you !

Did have to wait a while to find out if my KRK monitor was going to be repaired but when I managed to speak to Ryan everything was done professionally and quickly he was also extremely helpful.

This is a great company to deal with, prices are very competitive and the service is first class. I placed my order on Monday and it arrived Wednesday with free shipping and delivery. Communication is spot on as they keep you updated by email on the status of your order. You can also check the status of your order on your online account. Will be happy to use GetintheMix again.

I am not happy at all!

I ordered the XDJ-XR3 and Decksaver package and 2 x VM-50 speakers on the 23rd May 2025 with KLARNA finance.

I requested to cancel my order for the XDJ- RX3 because it was delayed for over a month and still no expected delivery date.

Getinthemix advised to leave it with them. But time passed and the order did not get cancelled. I contacted KLARNA for advice going forward and they advise all contact should go through them as they are now investigating and esculated a dispute case. 

My experience with getinthemix has been appalling and KLARNA investigations are still ongoing.

I also advised getinthemix that I have not opened the speakers as I was awaiting the order for the XDJ-XR3, but I opened them on the 17th June 2025, and you have provided DM-50 Mains AC Power Cable Lead UK plug instead of leads for Pioneer DJ VM-50 Studio Monitor Speakers.

So the speakers don't work without these leads. I checked the second box and again wrong leads. I now don't want to continue any contact or business with getinthemix ever again due to your unprofessional and unacceptable service. I have been understanding and patient throughout but will not accept this level of service. 

Fast forward to today, and although I have returned the faulty speakers, I still have not received any refund and Getinthemix, the addressee, have requested to Parcelforce to delay to a later delivery,  so until delivery is received,  I still await a refund.

I have been a loyal and returning customer since 2008 but getinthemix customer service and quality of goods has gone down hill in my opinion over the last 4 years and my custom with getinthemix ends here on a bitter note and still £204.60 out of pocket.

They are also disguised under 3 companies which raises red flags - getinthemix, DJ Superstore and Whybuynew.

Huge red flags.

Footnote: Ordered on the 23rd May 2025, still waiting for refund 3rd July 2025.

I have screenshots and photographic evidence to back up my review and my bank has now intervened and opened a refund dispute.

My advice is AVOID AT ALL COSTS. If a problem arises, getinthemix does not refund!
