This company canceled on me twice, once was last minute

This company canceled on me twice, and kept my money until I demanded it back. The first time was the night before they were supposed to come, and the second time was during the time someone was supposed to be at my house. I had not only time-specific labs but also time of the month specific labs. Their solution was to see if I could wait around for another 2 hour window later in the day on another day (in a time frame that doesn’t work for my specific labs). This is completely unacceptable. A professional business should have enough staff to fulfill their customer contracts. The point of their premium service is supposed to make having your labs drawn in a more convenient manner in a time that works for your life. DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM.

Outstanding Service

I have been using at home service by GetLabs for several years and have always had an easy time scheduling a visit and prompt customer service when I had questions. My most recent experience went very smoothly, GetLabs did an excellent job of keeping me informed when the technician would arrive. Technician Caleb arrived on time and was very courteous and professional in obtaining a blood sample from my wife. The whole procedure only took about 10 minutes. I was very pleased with GetLabs' performance.

Easy from start to finish

It was easy to schedule, and easy to reschedule. The technician arrived on time, was efficient, professional, tidy, and capable -- plus fun. :) I definitely plan on using GetLabs again.

Redraw necessary due to inadequate draw

** update ** After some back and forth with GetLabs in email and text a redraw was done. Now waiting on results from LabCorp. Second draw happened 10 days after first appt. Some results will be impacted by the redraw at the later date.

Was just informed by my Dr. that LabCorp will be reaching out to me because the draw by GetLabs was not adequate for some of the tests on the lab order. After paying $$$ to ‘conveniently’ get a draw at home I now have to navigate GetLabs, LabCorp, Ins and work schedule to get a redraw- and a rescheduled Dr. Appt. Extremely disappointed and would not recommend.

Home collection was the best

It was so convenient to have the blood collected at home as my husband has very limited mobility and difficulty transporting to an office. Our technician was prompt and courteous.

Horrible service

Horrible service. DO NOT USE. Not only did the technician show up an hour late, they failed to provide the lab order with my sample. My sample sat at the lab for a week before the missing paperwork was discovered. They have no phone number for customer service. You get stuck in an endless AI loop when a problem occurs. Save your money.

Getlabs cancelled my appointment and…

Getlabs cancelled my appointment and then claimed they “tried to reach me.” The assigned staff member said she called, but I never received any call, voicemail, or notification. Not a single attempt showed up on my phone.

They also failed to inform me that fasting was required for my labs which is basic and critical information.

On top of that, their system couldn’t even properly show the assigned staff member when I checked my appointment details.

This level of disorganization is unacceptable for medical services.

Getlabs is great!

Getlabs is great! I had an in home blood draw. I received reminders of my appointment as well as tips what to do 8 hours before my draw. On the day of my appointment I received another alert to let me know the approximate time the phlebotomist will arrive at my home. The phlebotomist was on time, kind, professional and performed a painless blood draw. Excellent experience. Highly recommend!

Only good as a last resort, but only for bloodwork

I’ve used getlabs at least four times now. If you need only a blood draw this service is fine, but not if you need a urinalysis or a h pylori test. I’ve have to have them come out twice to remedy their mistakes. For the h pylori test the tech didn’t read the instructions correctly, administered the test incorrectly, then read the instruction afterwards saying “whoops.” He had to come back to do the test again, which was a huge waste of my time. The company apologized and assured that they wouldn't be sending out the same tech to re-administer the test but sure enough there he was at my door. He still didn’t read the instructions, handing them to me to figure out. He was also unapologetically more than a hour later than the four hour block for which my appointment time was scheduled. The second time I had an issue with this company has yet to be resolved as I write this. They collected a urinalysis at the same time as a blood draw but didn’t take it to the lab in a timely manner, causing the urinalysis to be room temperature and therefore unusable by the lab. I have been going back and forth with a getlabs rep via email, after requesting a response via text, and the person insists they can’t work with my schedule for the re-collection of the urinalysis because my original booking was during a certain block of hours. When I wrote back and said I will not be taking a SECOND day off to accommodate their schedule and mistake, telling them when I am available for the re-collection, they ghosted me. I have reached out again asking to speak to a supervisor. If you are in dire straits and absolutely have no other options, this company is fine for blood draw, like I said, but anything else seems to be an impossibility for this company.
