Customer service is lacking. My daughter bought a bag which was used only once. The inside lining ripped and she tried to return it to the store with her receipt within one week of purchase. They refused a refund or replacement stating that because she had used the bag as a school bag the fault was on her. This was simply not true. I tried calling head office numerous times and no one answered. I emailed only to be told they “don’t take calls”. I then explained our situation and after many emails back and forth they agreed my daughter could receive a replacement or refund. Ghanda were not willing to help us find a store that had the same bag for my daughter to obtain a replacement as she really loved the bag. They weren’t willing to check stores and their stock and we were told we had to call every store to see if any of them had the bag. Extremely annoying since we were not at fault. Their customer service is basically non existent. I don’t believe it’s a fair way to treat your customers.

That is not true. I replied to the last email I received which was for us to notify which store we would return the bag for a refund. My daughter has now returned the bag and received her refund. We have not received any emails since.

Good clobber, but the cost of having it delivered to the UK now means we’ll have to take our brand loyalty elsewhere. In spite of claims on the website that shipping is free for orders over AUD120, stealth charges dressed up as taxes and duties that were not evident during the purchase process added another AUD 179.80 to the order, by which time it was too late for me to stop the transaction.
Customer Support was given the opportunity to rectify the situation several times in view of our purchase history but chose not to. Retaining us as customers was clearly not deemed worthy of the effort so this, therefore, will be our final purchase from Ghanda.

Ghanda, a well known store across Australia has gotten a 0 on Baptist aid world fashion guide which tells us that the work ethic here at Ghanda is very bad.
on their website if you scroll down all the way to the bottom and click on “our sustainable future” if you scroll down and stop at keeping it local and you read this article it claims that they are 100% local but research proves that they are manufactured in China which according to their website its manufactured in Australia
they also claim that they don't pollute the earth, and that they are conscious about the environment, when really, if you do some research you will find out that this is definitely not the case because of their work ethics, and what they do. The website is very misleading and they try to cover up all of the things they have done but many people are capable of figuring out what the store is capable of and how they treat people and their work ethic.
On purchase, I had forgotten to enter my Ganda giftcard number. I contacted Customer Service and Emma responded within 24 hours, rectified the situation and reimbursed me the $50 giftcard amount. Emma was easy to deal with and her communication was excellent!

I am so disappointed. I was really excited to wear their clothes but the shipping process is really slow. And COMMUNICATION is even worse, I’ve emailed them and called them 4 times and still no response. I want to cancel my order right now.

I placed an order at the end of December that never arrived, the postie confirmed that it was lost, yet the customer service team have done nothing about it, they're very rude, take a week to respond, and are now ignoring my emails.

Christmas purchase, email receipt did not arrive (assuming a typo), Ghanda refused to exchange item. A reduced item (unmarked as reduced) was placed with full price items, when attempting to exchange it was also declined.
Emailed customer service with screenshot of transaction, showing date and approx. time. Excahnge declined due to 'policy'.
Asked for escalation, got advised against 'policy' again.

I’ve been buying Ghanda clothing for years and used to absolutely love the brand. The fit, the style and the overall feel were always great, and I was happy to pay $40–$50 for a top because the quality justified the price.
However, over the past two years I’ve noticed a significant decline in quality. The fabric feels thinner, seams are weaker, and the clothes simply don’t hold up. I’m now getting only 5–10 wears out of a T-shirt before it starts to rip or fall apart. At that price point, that works out to roughly $4–$10 per wear, which is completely unreasonable for what is marketed as quality casual wear.
I currently have around 20 Ghanda items that have fallen apart, and my wife has experienced exactly the same issue. We’ve also spoken to friends who are noticing similar problems. What’s most frustrating is that none of our other clothing brands are doing this — it’s only Ghanda.
I contacted customer support and was extremely disappointed. Because the items were older than three months, they essentially showed no interest in helping or investigating the issue. For a brand that once stood out for quality, that response was just as disappointing as the product itself.
Sadly, I can no longer recommend Ghanda. The quality no longer matches the price, and it’s simply not worth the money or the hassle.

Horrible customer service. I purchased an item in September 2025 but was only able to wear it once the weather warmed up. Once I wore it, I noticed it had a manufacturing fault. I emailed them and was told that they wouldn’t do anything about it because it was outside their 3 month window. I was only outside the window by 3 weeks and they wouldn’t help in any way. Thoroughly disappointed in how this was handled by Ghanda.

Full refund was given back from the online store at Ghanda as they had seen that the sizing of the swim shorts did not match up when the item was returned ,they were able to measure themselves and see this fault . Online customer service were very helpful in this matter .And I do appreciate their help in this matter.☺️
🤔I’m still not sure if the online store will refund or exchange swimwear that has not been worn, if you brought the wrong size accidentally . And if that’s the case I stand by what I say, I would not recommend purchasing from anywhere that does not give a refund or exchange if you purchased the wrong size swimwear if tags and receipts are still attached.

I do not recommend shopping at Ghanda online for the purchasing of swimwear as they do not refund or replace the wrong size on brand new unworn swimwear with tags attached and receipt. ( swimwear includes swim broad shorts & Swim tops)
Another thing their sizing on the swim shorts brought in store do not match the same sizing as the same swim shorts online . For the same swim shorts online , you have 2 colour choices, one colour choice give you the sizing in 10,12 ect but if you choose the other colour the sizing is in small med ect . Same swim shorts different colours . Sizing chart if not correct with these swim shorts .
The size med size swim shorts brought in store were a good fit , the same swim shorts in size 12 online just a different colour do not match up in sizing reference chart online .
To the Mums out there that like to purchase swimwear for their daughters as a gift , I strongly recommend you don’t go buying the swimwear because the stores will not let you exchange them for a different size if you brought the wrong
size or the sizing is out.
For me personally I will only shop and support stores that do offer wrong size exchanges on new unworn swimwear as there are still plenty of stores that exchange with tags attached and receipt of purchase.
I would also like to add the Manager at Garden City when I called the store is rude certainly not helpful and told me she did not care if I left a neg review.
She also tried to say I was abusive to the first person I spoke to before I spoke to her and I was certainly not . Yes I was not happy, you could hear the frustration tone in my voice, but I did not yell, swear or name call. This manager hung up on me while I was still talking .
Yet the lady at Ghanda Indooroopilly when I called there was much more helpful and sincere and said that it was store policy about exchanges and she personally could not do anything, and it would be better for me to take the matter up with head office and with that she gave me the details and when it was best to contact them . This store lady showed more professionalism and genuine sincerity about my frustration.

Upon arriving home with a new pair of shorts I noticed a fault in the item and contacted the customer service team. I was met with incredibly helpful and efficient service from someone named Emma! She was quick in getting back to me and arranged for a replacement. The service was so friendly and useful!

Was in the Ghanda Star in market square Geelong, I Seen rude staff before but this girl was next level, no one was in the store, I walk in she doesn’t even look up and acknowledge that I was there, I was looking through some of the boxes, she walked straight over to fold the shorts up I was just looking at without saying a word, I looked at her and said hello , she grunted back, then walked back over to behind the desk, for this reason I never bought what I was going to buy, short stocky long dark hair girl, get a personality if your going to work in retail or find another job . Rude

I ordered clothes from Ghanda using gift vouchers I had received from my son to be posted to Northern Ireland. I was able to use the vouchers online and received my parcel within a week from Sydney. Very impressed!

Honestly if it wasn’t for the store in Miranda Westfield I’d be given 0 stars. The girls in Miranda were so lovely and helpful.

If you asked me many many years ago to give a rating, it would easily be 5 stars, the items are fantastic and I've only very recently started having some technical issues. (No issues with the clothing, thankfully, hence the 4 stars!)
I'm in the USA so I understand shipping is going take a hot second, however when they were partnered with DHL I would receive my packaged in a timely-expected-manner, and I wasn't paying the international fees that they started charging since switching to FedEx(at least I hipe that'sthe reason..). Also since the company switched to FedEx my purchases are taking months instead or the 2-3 weeks they once took.
I love the clothes and the quality is off the charts. I tell everyone this website is where I buy most of my clothes haha.

I used to buy something at least once a month but unfortunately I haven't been able to purchase anythings but every once in a while with the international fees pratically doubling the initial amount.
