Gillibrand Accident Repair Centre is a family run accident repair business located in Blackburn, first established as a wheelwrights and blacksmiths by the Gillibrand family in 1859, but now specialising in high quality paint and body vehicle repairs. We are enormously proud to be approved by many vehicle manufacturers including Audi, Volkswagen, SEAT, ŠKODA, Volvo, Polestar, BMW, MINI, Suzuki, Ford, Nissan, Toyota, Kia and CUPRA. In order to become an approved repairer for the leading vehicle brands such as VW and Audi, our paint and body technicians have to be highly trained by the people who manufacturer the cars at their very own, specialised training centres. By regularly attending the manufacturer training courses it ensures we are kept right up to date with the latest vehicle technologies and repair processes. As well as receiving excellent training in vehicle paint and body repairs, the other benefits of being a repairer approved by multiple manufacturers is that we will only ever use/fit genuine parts, the paint and materials have been approved by the relevant manufacturer and we follow the correct repair methods to repair vehicles to the highest standard. We also hold a British Standards Kitemark which is an industry accreditation associated with repair quality and safety.

Can not fault the service from Gillibrand’s. I understand the company was busy but the time taken for the repair was extraordinary. The end product was first class. I think the price for what was a relatively small repair was very expensive.

I am sorry to hear the time taken to repair your car was not satisfactory, unfortunately, sometimes some of these things are out of our control. For example, with your car, from the day it arrived on site to getting the authority to repair your vehicle, it took nine days. Once authority was received, it then took just over one week for the parts to arrive on site with us. We cannot start any repairs until the parts have arrived. I hope this helps you to understand a little further why it may seem the repairs took a long time. We are delighted to hear that you are happy with the repairs to your vehicle and hope if you ever need a vehicle repairer in the future you would not hesitate to contact us. Thanks again.

So easy friendly and helpful
From the moment I arrived to get my car assessed they were lovely. I spoke with a lovely guy who had over 20 years experience doing that job. He was really reassuring. I was booked in and told it would be 4 weeks. Knowing I was not happy driving the hire car I had been given ( Not by Gillibrands from elsewhere) they completed the work in under 2 weeks! I went to pick my car up and again wonderful, seamless service Natalie and Pete were FAB! I would not hesitate to use them again.

I didn't have any direct contact with Gillibrand about the repair work because it was done through the insurance company. They did provide me with a link to check the progress of the repair. When completed the hand over was professional and the repair done to a good standard.

After my minor accident Gillibrand was recommended to me, and I am so pleased I listened. firstly the amazing staff made me feel at ease, and got my claim going without any stress to myself, all the phone calls required was done by the Gillibrand staff and they kept me in the loop at all times. they pencilled my repairs to be carried out last week 5th January 2023 and supplied me with a curtesy car. I have now picked up my car the the repairs have been completed to a very high standard (it looks like a new car again) I would recommend Gillibrand's if you need a repair and you are guaranteed that every thing will be done to a high standard and you will be greeted with a happy face.
