Be very aware that if you are returning from Ireland there is a hefty returning cost on yourself. Cost me €10 to get 2dresses posted from UK over which I was fine about but €26 through An Post to post them back. So disappointed in the dress quality as well😞. Company really needs to look at the returns policy for non UK consumers.

I discovered Girl in Mind recently and wasn’t sure if they are genuine and Trustpilot reviews helped me with my decision so thought I should leave my review here.
I ended up ordering few dress options for a birthday party, all the dresses were absolutely gorgeous and loved the material. Their Betty dress falls like a glove and such a beautiful fit. I’m a new mum and have gained some weight but this dress made me feel beautiful.
Highly recommend the Betty dress and they have so many colours in it.
Only thing is, return is not free, I paid about £17 to return the parcel using Royal Mail.

I purchased 2 jumpsuits as I needed them urgently but had forgotten to select the correct option. The Sales team kindly arranged express delivery of the items free of charge when I contacted them via email, explaining the situation

Ordered the Betty dress in sage for a wedding. Super fast delivery, very reasonable P&P & customer service. As it was my first order I was provided a 15% discount, unfortunately while processing the option wasn’t there to apply the discount code when making payment. Customer service though, fantastic! I got in touch to enquire about a 15% refund when order arrived and confirmed I was keeping the product and partial refund processed straight away.

The actual dress is extremely good quality, material is fantastic. Ordered my normal uk size 14 which fits perfectly with comfort.

Highly recommended and will purchase from company again as saw a few bits and pieces that I liked

Love the dresses, love the styles, service is quick -BUT…. The sizing is different for different dresses. It’s impossible to decipher. I’ve bought a 12 and had to change for the 10, and bought a 10 which I could barely do up. Even though similar styles. This is usually solved by buying 2 and sending the non fitting ones back. But be warned, you pay postage on delivery under £75 AND for returns. Plus there’s the recommended ‘post protection’ added at checkout. I made my last order today because of this. Hopefully the dress will fit.

Would not recommend. I had an issue with their returns portal, I tried to get help using their email address but no reply after emailing twice. So, I sent my item back, recorded delivery but no refund as yet even though I know item has been received. Such poor after sales service.

I was sceptical about ordering online but im more than pleased with the dress . The material isnt the best but for the price its great ......and pockets 😊always a winner for me.Fast delivery. Having to return 1 dress as ordered different sizes . Hoping the returns process is as efficient as the ordering and delivery. I will Definitely be ordering again 😀

I bought a gorgeous red dress and am really happy with the quality. Looks and feels more expensive. Had an issue with sizing and customer services could not have been more helpful, professional and efficient. Will definitely be a return customer and happy to recommend.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Girl In Mind.

I returned a dress within the required returns period after only trying it on. The dress was never worn outside, washed, or altered in any way. My refund was subsequently refused on the basis that the item had allegedly been worn and washed, a claim which I strongly dispute.

The customer service throughout this process has been extremely poor. After returning the item, I received no communication whatsoever regarding the status of my refund. I had to contact the company on two separate occasions before receiving a response about my return.

What has been most concerning is the lack of evidence and communication. Despite repeatedly requesting evidence to support their decision, no evidence has been provided. I asked for photographs, inspection records, or any documentation that would support their allegations, but my requests were ignored.

I was also informed that if I wanted my dress returned, I would need to pay £5 plus postage. This appeared unreasonable, particularly as I was requesting the item back in order to obtain evidence for my complaint to Trading Standards. When I asked for an explanation of these charges, I received no response.

The reasons given for refusing my refund appeared inconsistent throughout the correspondence, and multiple reasonable questions were left unanswered. I was further informed that if I did not pay the requested charges, the dress would be sent to charity despite there being an ongoing dispute.

As a result of the way this matter has been handled, I have now reported the company to Trading Standards through Citizens Advice and am awaiting further guidance.

As a customer, I would expect transparent communication, fair treatment, and evidence-based decision-making when a refund is refused. Unfortunately, this was not my experience.

Based on my experience, I would advise potential customers to carefully consider the company's returns process before making a purchase.

Just beware if returning an item.
I ordered a dress, it didn’t fit. Cost to return was expensive. I was refunded £10 short of original purchase price

Ordered 2 sizes of a dress to compare.
Kept the one but unfortunately missed that it was only 21 days for returns (only by a few days) Emailed the company who were flexible enough to still let me return. Great service

Customer service was excellent. I had an issue with my gift card which was resolved in hours and allowed me to place my order. They went above and beyond :)

I ordered from them last year for a wedding and it was great, the dress was lovely and I kept the item. However this time I ordered a few dresses to try for another wedding and they never arrived. The Royal Mail tracking still says ‘we’re expecting it’ a month later. I queried this with GIM and they said they were unable to process a refund and to get back to them after the weekend. This was two weeks after the order. I have since emailed them 5 times, including to every email on their website, about my missing delivery and received no response at all! I have now raised a dispute with PayPal and they haven’t responded to them either. There are a couple days left for them to respond but I expect they won’t. Do not order from GIM their communication and customer service isn’t just poor, it’s completely non existent.

I ordered a dress which didn't suit me and in my mind arranged to send back after my holiday. I didn't realise the return period was 14 days which I had missed. I contacted customer service who agreed for me to send the item back even though it was outside of their return period. Great customer service with being flexible. Will definitely shop again.
