Useless website

Useless website. I went though the interrogation process to join which was very intrusive then every time I try to log in it asks me the same questions over and over again.

Gives Experian a run for their money

Can’t do anything without being forced to be introduced to ‘communities’ (filling out questionnaires without being able to skip) or file salary or reviews. Not worth the time

Working at The Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM)

Working at The Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM) has been an absolute honor. I have proudly been a part of the ACM team for over 6 years now, and I can confidently say that this organization has brought out the best in me. Thanks to ACM, I have developed excellent professional communication skills that allow me to interact with students, staff, and the public with utmost respect and confidence, within the security department. I have had the privilege of learning from the Chairman, who has shown me how hard work can be both profitable and rewarding. As a proud member of the ACM team, I wholeheartedly recommend anyone who appreciates and values good work to join us at ACM. Trust me, you won't regret it. Thank you. Francis.

Bought by companies

Glassdoor allows employers to leave batch positive reviews for themselves, but removes the honest negative reviews, left by actual employees!

WROST USER EXPERINECE IN THE WORLD

WROST USER EXPERINECE IN THE WORLD. I tried to view a specific jobs salary then I clicked another button. Asked me to login but I logged in with the wrong account and since it was new, it wouldn't LET ME LOG OUT UNLESS I PUT A JOB THAT I WORKED. THIS IS RIDICILOUS, I JUST WANT TO LOG OUT. FIX THE WEBSITE.

Bad UX and mandatory questionnaire to access a feature I'm not interested in

Glassdoor was okay for me when it let me log in and check reviews of various companies.

Today, I logged in and was presented with a mandatory questionnaire about my employment that made me feel that my account's data had been wiped. There was no way to dismiss this questionnaire, a prerequisite step to access the new Facebook newsfeed-style 'Community' feature.

Additionally, because I had not made any contributions for over a year, I was required to make a new contribution to access company reviews. I found this to be contrived and annoying.

Glassdoor could do a lot better when it comes to user experience. Are they intentionally trying to frustrate users?

Glassdoor A Dubious Platform for Employee Reviews

Glassdoor, once hailed as a beacon of transparency in the realm of employee-employer relationships, has begun to show significant signs of compromise. Recent incidents have raised suspicions that the platform is actively deleting reviews, presumably at the behest of employers.

The platform's initial promise was to provide a space for employees to candidly share their experiences, offering prospective job seekers invaluable insights into company cultures, management styles, and overall work environments. However, recent occurrences have cast a shadow over Glassdoor's integrity.

Many users have reported their reviews mysteriously disappearing from the platform, without any explanation or notification. This disturbing trend has understandably fueled skepticism about the platform's impartiality and commitment to transparency. While Glassdoor has a system in place for moderating reviews for inappropriate content, the lack of transparency in this process raises concerns.

Employers' ability to flag and potentially influence reviews adds another layer of doubt. While it is essential to prevent false or malicious reviews, it is equally vital to maintain an environment where genuine employee experiences can be shared openly and honestly. The opacity surrounding Glassdoor's moderation practices leaves users questioning the authenticity of the platform.

Furthermore, some reviews that do make it through the moderation process have been met with skepticism due to their suspiciously positive tone, leading to speculation that these could be generated or influenced by company insiders. This undermines the very purpose of Glassdoor and erodes the trust of its user base.

In conclusion, Glassdoor's recent actions raise red flags about its commitment to providing an unbiased platform for employee reviews. The suspected deletion of reviews and potential influence by employers cast a pall over what was once a valuable resource for job seekers. Until Glassdoor takes meaningful steps towards transparency and rectifies these concerns, users should approach the platform with a discerning eye.

Glassdoor unwilling to correct facts.

We are a small business with only 2 reviews on there, and the ex staff members who put them on there are entirely entitled to their opinion. However, one of them has put that they are a current employee when that is quite simply incorrect as they left a while ago. We asked Glassdoor for that to be corrected and they wouldn't do so. To be clear we did not ask for the reviews to be changed nor removed only that the employment dates be corrected. This leads me to believe that this website is awash with false information and inaccuracies. Which is a shame as it is a good concept and a useful tool for individuals, though that value is completely lost given the fake details on the platform.

Website works worse than before they changed the UI. Links are broken, you can't even use the SSO to login. I thought they were improving it. I'm wrong, it keeps going down. Good luck with that.

Do not trust

They write: "Companies can't alter or remove reviews. (Really!) See how Glassdoor protects users and content"

This is FALSE FALSE FALSE
I wrote a negative review on a company, all I wrote was true. My previous company threatened glassdoor and magic! My review was deleted!

Do NOT trust. Furthermore! The company then writes new positive reviews that are completely fake and these one are NEVER deleted.
