total lack of any customer service, impossible to resolve a techincal problem with the website preventing progress of my order. parcels stuck in storage indefinitely as nobody responds to bot or email

I have three packages sitting in storage and ship and I cannot get beyond this screen as your customs value box won't add up and stays on zero and i have sent you a screen shot of this problem. I have emailed you twice and left multiple chatbox messages over the last week - some of them during your opening hours) and no body EVER replies.
I cannot go ahead and consolidate my parcels until someone helps sort this problem out as it will show as zero customs value which would i could be fined for. never had such terrible customer service and just refusal to return emails and chat bot messages.

Worst company I've dealt with in years

Update: after I left this review and filed consumer complaints against GS, the company contacted me. Ultimately, they offered to pay for the goods to be shipped to another American freight forwarder who could actually get the job done. I've emailed GS on and off for weeks and, wouldn't you know it, they still haven't forwarded the goods to the second freight forwarder. THIS COMPANY DOES NOT KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING AND I STRONGLY URGE THAT YOU CONSIDER THAT. They've now had my stuff for more than a month and I'll eat a hat if they ever get their act together on this. NEVER, EVER believe anything they tell you they'll do until it's been done.

Maybe you read about this company online and think "So they're not that responsive? How bad could it be?" Let me tell you.

This company refunded my package payment with no explanation at the time of doing so and yet did not return the items to the pool of items available to ship until later - i.e. recharging me for a lower shipping rate for a lower weight, which made me think perhaps they'd made an error with weighing and were just staying honest. How incredibly wrong I was. Their user interface is clunky and nonsensical and this contributes to issues like this, creating the perfect storm of an unprofessional, uninformative website and a comany culture of fecklessness.

Let's go back again further, though. Before ever getting into this mess, I tried to contact this company 2-3 times via their website chat to ask, before ever sending any nail polish to their business, whether they can ship this on to Australia (it's got flammable ingredients in it and has regulatory specifics). No reply to any of the messages, ever.

Well, since their competitor Shipito already did similar job for me years ago using either DHL or FedEx, I just shipped the bottles and consolidated them with other (non-hazardous) things I'd sent to the suite, setting it all up to shop using DHL international express with the goods properly declared and everything.

GS then took it upon themselves to not only remove all of the bottles from the combined package which they'd already allowed to be combined (totally wasting the time of both me and themselves), but then leave them on the customs paperwork - yet refund the difference in shipping weight and then proceed to ignore almost every email I've sent them while having no idea why they did what they did. I've asked again and again why they can't offer what other companies offer regarding this, why they weren't transparent about the re-packing and reasons for refunding, etc.literal silence. I've now sent 7 unanswered emails to them regarding this. I heard from them literally once throughout this whole thing, where they referred me back to a generic disclaimer about cosmetics shipping issues and didn't even address the fact that competitors have done the same kind of shipping with carriers they say don't do this, not resolving ANYTHING.

The only people to whom I'd ever recommend this company is those who, for some mysterious reason, have no issue with their time, money, and patience being completely wasted. By the way, all of this is occuring after they already lost a (really low value but anyway) package of mine in the past...

They now have AUD$200 of indie nail polish of mine sitting there in their warehouse while they stonewall me and think this is completely fine to do to customers! This company feels they're above the law and you're absolutely rolling the dice with your money if you use them. They legitimately don't give a shit. Apparently, they won't ship the package, yet also feel they are under no obligation to actually provide solutions to that. I'm in my thirties and have only ever encountered one other business this obviously indifferent to customers. Crucially, this isn't unusual behaviour from Global Shopaholics, though. Ignoring customers, losing stuff, and ripping people off is seemingly a core part of how they operate.l and they just keep doing this.

GS deserves legal intervention and I feel scared for the people shipping higher-value items with them (or trying to do so!) They truly will just ghost you and your stuff will be in limbo. I'm going to the Better Business Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission about this to try to get help and to have their behaviour on the record so that hopefully fewer people go through what I have. Don't use this company. The best compliment I can give them is that, as part of their extremely erratic behaviour, they sometimes get the job done - but, when things go wrong, you're literally on your own and potentially hundreds or thousands of dollars down thanks to having shipped stuff to a black hole. Probably one of my worst experiences with a business at this point as it leaves you feeling vulnerable in an international regulatory environment.

We do offer DG shipping through DHL, but they have provided us with a specific list of countries where this is possible under a DG fee.

We have clearly mentioned this information in our FAQs, including the requirement to check with us before shipping any restricted items to avoid any inconvenience.

We truly regret any loss this situation may have caused. As a solution, we can offer to return your items to the seller or ship them within the USA to help minimize your loss you can get your remaining wallet amount to your account too. However, per our shipper’s terms and conditions, we are unable to proceed with international shipping for these items.

Rest assured, your items and funds are completely safe. You have the option to ship them within the USA​ and get your remaining amount in your paypal account to avoid ​t​he loss. We appreciate your patience and understanding regarding this matter.

Our service is now very bad. You are no longer fulfilling the service time given by you. registering a package takes more than 2 days without counting the consolidation process which takes a week for the process.

Bad Service

Maybe they used to work well, but now they have a terrible service. I don't recommend them. To give you an idea, preparing to send a package takes 15 days and the support is full of problems. They don't keep their word. If you're looking for a service, go to MYUS. They're expensive but they work much better.

Excellent experience

I have used US forwarders for years. I switched to Global as they offer shipping from Target. I have just received my first shipment and it arrived within the expected time frame, with all the appropriate paperwork in good order. I have a already placed another shipment for delivery. I look forward to continuing good service. Yes shipping is quite expensive but that's the price you pay, if you want the goods.

Arbitrarily charged my account with a…

Arbitrarily charged my account with a negative balance of USD 100,- because returning a package declined by customs costs (quote)a lot (end quote) according to their oh-so-helpful customer support.

I do not know if this qualifies as incredibly stupid, daring or actually constitutes a criminal act.

However, since the item in question had a value of USD 70 and cost USD 30 to ship I didn't even bother arguing with the braindead support representative and took my business elsewhere.

When a shipment arrives at customs, the shipper contacts the recipient for further instructions. The shipper attempts to reach out the customer, If they don't receive any answer from customer then the customs reject the shipment and the shipper charge a return fee. Please note that return shipping fees are generally higher than standard shipping costs.

The company never shipped my items and never returned the money I sent them for the purchase. They showed me a fake picture of my purchase, as if it had arrived at their location, but I never recieved anything.Avoid this company at all cost!

Used to be great, but support is now trash

I have been a loyal and frequent customer since 2017, but have seen their support gradually decline to complete uselessness. They never made good on their promise to email you back even then, but at least the chat was helpful.

At this point I have been trying to have an issue resolved for over a year. A package was returned, for which they charged me $70 in customs, then never added this to my dashboard, despite repeated promises they would do something. Months upon months had gone by before I was even able to get hold of someone online, and every time they would either promise to email me back or just quit responding. I finally got an email chain going last week by replying to a wrongful message my account would be closed due to inactivity, but they are now bouncing my emails.

I hate to see one of my favorite services go down this road but I must warn against using these guys. It might work out, or you’ll be ripping your hair out for a freaking year to get help, to no avail.

Since writing this they have yet again promised to email me back, but of course they haven’t.

Extremely terrible company

Extremely terrible company. I decided to give them a try and to my greatest horror, even the worst ever shipping company I've ever used fare way better than global shopaholics. My items to be shipped have been with them for over 1 month and they haven't made any effort at shipping them. With MyUS, my items got shipped within 24hrs of arrival at their facility. ANYONE WHO DESIRES PEACE OF MIND AND WHO WOULDN'T WANT TO LOSE THEIR PRECIOUS MONEY AND GOODS SHOULD AVOID GLOBAL SHOPAHOLICS. Looks more like a fraudulent company and a scam.

I will close my account as soon as I get my items that are stuck in it:

1- Almost impossible to reach their customer service and when I was able to reach them they don’t help much
2- many orders marked as delivered on eBay and not showing in my storage
3- No ETA provided for orders preparation

I had two packages sent through Global Shopaholics and everything went smoothly, except for a small hiccup the second time when my package didn't show up in my storage on their site after two days. I reached out to Peter in live support, and he resolved it in under a minute. No complaints—great service!
