How much does it cost?

Can I make international calls?
Yes. YO Calls lets you make outbound international calls from a temporary Global YO calling number — $6 in credit for $2.99. Useful for hotels, restaurants, embassies, anyone not on WhatsApp. The number isn't permanent and isn't tied to your account between trips.

What are YOYO$?
YOYO$ are Global YO's in-app token. 100 YOYO$ = $1 USD. Earn on every plan and referral, spend on future plans (up to 100% off). No expiry as long as you earn at least once per calendar year.

What devices work with Global YO?
Any eSIM-capable phone. Most iPhones (XS and newer) and major Android phones (Pixel 3+, Samsung Galaxy S20+, etc.) support eSIMs. See the full compatibility list in the app.

Can I use my regular SIM at the same time?

eSim didn't activate, useless support

I ordered a sim and installed it on a Google pixel 8. when installed it did not activate. I've now spent 2 days trying to get it activated with support but they have been slow to respond and keep sending me their troubleshooting guides which I have been working through multiple times. They are avoiding providing a refund or re-issuing another eSim. I wouldn't bother again with them.

Just READ through the reviews, they're all the same wording!

The reviews here are all VERY suspect and I honestly don't believe they are legit, it's so easy to see they've all been written by the same couple of people!

Useless!!!

So many fake reviews here omg !!!! Basically esim won't connect and good luck getting stranded abroad without the data you purchased . If you bug them afterwards you will get a refund . I have deleted the app and esim profile and won't bother again .

eSIM didn’t work!

eSIM didn’t work. I counted on having internet at my destination but was then stuck cause nothing I tried worked and support didn’t help or answer me at all. I tried to sort this out for hours which ruined my whole day. They refunded me but I even lost money on the refund cause the exchange rate was different than when I bought it so I got a lower amount back then I paid. Next day I bought another eSIM from a different provider and it worked immediately. Don’t bother with this company this apparently happens often.

Update: They’re trying their best to get Trustpilot to remove my review even though I had an experience that I can prove and they know it. Makes them look even worse.

I arrived in Japan (Narita) and the eSim didn't work. No obvious way to get help through their app. I purchased an eSIM from a competitor once in Japan abd jt worked right away on my Gakaxy S23 ultra.

Do NOT use Global YO in Japan

I've used Global YO in South America, New Zealand South Korea and Japan
Do not use them in Japan connection is very very slow. Messaging works, but websites don't load. They tried to troubleshoot it didn't work so they just close ticket and pretend it never happened. Terrible customer service. I have expected some sort of compensation after explaining how because of connection I lost money on confirmations while visiting World Expo. QR codes and reservations are everywhere in Japan. Do yourself a favor go with other providers.
