GMG watches Ltd Reviews 

On 27th June, I spotted a Rolex Oyster Perpetual Red Dial (discontinued in 2022) on their homepage. The description said: "Model Year: 2022 - Unworn, Brand New". The photos, however, indicated a model date on the guarantee card as of 15/09/2020. I contacted them to solicit clarity and I was told it was just an error and the watch was indeed a 2022 model, namely July 2022 (!), and the error would be corrected. They made me an offer, which I rejected. Two days ago I checked the homepage again and the discrepancy was still there. So I contacted them again stressing it and the answer was: "Mate, why do you care if you don't want to buy the watch anyway". Well, I do care as I am a potential customer willing to spend a decent amount of money, and I do not want to be misled by info that is misrepresenting. And I do not want to be addressed as "Mate" but treated with respect! I checked the homepage again today, the photo with the guarantee card on it is still the same, but the date has been adjusted, in that the last digit of the year is gone. So it still reads 15/09/202x. But wasn't I told that the model is July 2022 ?! And doesn't the description still say: "Model Year: 2022 - Unworn, Brand New. This is a 2022 model watch." Hmm, make up your own mind about this. I have drawn my conclusions. Given I am definitely not going to buy any watch there, I should have given them 1* for the experience, but let's be kind and give them the benefit of the doubt...and let's believe it was all just a misunderstanding...

P.S. By the way, compare the photos with the description of the "Rolex Oyster Perpetual 41 124300 Tiffany Coloured Blue Dial - Discontinued 2022"...

A simple explanation of my experience. Lee was clear with the parameters of the transaction and open to discussion. It wasn’t an easy deal but he was fair and reasonable. Saw that GMG had a blue face skydweller for sale at a fair price and contacted Lee on a friday evening via Whatsapp, after a few messages I agreed to pay a deposit and collect the watch a week later on a Saturday. Met with Lee at their Liver Building Boutique and everything was as described so was happy to make the balancing payment and buy the watch. Very easy process from start to finish, nice guy to deal with and would happily recommend them to anyone

Just got my new watch from GMG, really easy transaction from the first message through to delivery in a few days. Always apprehensive sending off a lot of money but I was kept well informed and the watch is in the perfect condition as described. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending GMG Watches, the youtube channel is pretty entertaining too.

My other review for another dealer was because dealing with GMG tainted what should have been a pleasant purchase, I went to a totally honest dealer traded the rubbish you sold me at a lose and bought a new Daytona. You sell watches “full sets” but no white tag? 2018 watch with a 2020 booklets not full sets more like cobbled together sets. So no not a competitor trying to ruin your reputation you don’t need help with that a genuine disappointed customer.

I’ve just received my watch and it’s exactly as ordered, i contacted Lee about a watch on his website, he said he could offer a newer model for the same price; I can’t thank you enough for sorting this (especially whilst you’re on holiday). Obviously I was a bit apprehensive sending money to someone I’ve never met for an item I’d never seen. You are a man of your word and I’ll have no hesitation giving you a shout when I need anything else.

All lies. My sister bought the watch for me, but she obviously isn't an expert. I trusted you because I thought you were correct and professional traders. Selling an incomplete watch only denotes superficiality and dishonesty. Furthermore, I have our entire conversation saved on whatsapp and therefore claiming that you offered me to buy the missing link for 60 euros is madness. Fortunately, I immediately resold the watch, recovering the expense made. I also informed chrono24 of your impropriety.

After being on the waiting list at Rolex for what seemed like years I found my ideal watch available online from GMG watches, I contacted Lee on the phone and arranged to meet me in London at his office a couple of days later.
To say I’m thrilled with the service and the watch would be an understatement, Lee was very informative and I found him honest and very friendly.
The transaction went very smoothly.
He arranged a dog friendly Uber for me too…..the little things re personal service mean so much.
