Back in January 2020 we visited a travel show with the intention of finding a trip with which to celebrate our 60th birthdays the following year. The main trigger for choosing a South American adventure was the desire to visit the Galapagos Islands. Mainland Ecuador and Peru were obvious choices for additional destinations so we began to explore priorities. We met Jonathan on the Go Andes stand and he and Maria stood out as being exactly what we were looking for in a travel company. For various reasons we booked for 2022 which was very fortunate considering the approaching pandemic. Jonathan spent a lot of time discussing options, listening to our preferences and making suggestions. We originally said we wanted to be away for a maximum of five weeks but that soon grew to six as we wanted to see as much as possible. We looked at suggested itineraries, picked out the bits that appealed to us (quite a lot actually) and Jonathan put together a wonderful tour for us. We had an incredible few weeks full of amazing experiences and memories made. One thing that really stood out was the quality of the guides who made our holiday so special. Their knowledge was incredible and they really looked after us.
I have no hesitation in recommending Go Andes. It was comforting to know that Maria was always available on WhatsApp if there were any questions whilst away and we were also given numbers for contacts in both Ecuador and Peru if we needed them. Local agents made themselves available to us so we felt supported at all times.

Jonathan and Maria were so helpful following our postponed trip due to Covid 19. We have just returned from an amazing trip to Ecuador and Peru. Maria was extremely knowledgeable and guided us to plan a sensibly paced and logical pathway through all our different 'must see' destinations! All our guides were really helpful and knowledgeable, enhancing the whole experience. Transfers were reliable and drivers all of a very good standard. My 35 year wait to complete the 4 day Inca Trail, and view Macchu Picchu from the Sun gate, was finally realised! If South America is your next destination - don't hesitate - Go Andes!

Jonathon and Maria at “Go Andes” arranged a three week personalised holiday to Chile for four of us returning mid Feb 2020.
We explored the length of the country from the Atacama desert in the north to the Magellan Strait in the south.
From the very start they were sympathetic to our needs and did everything they could to make it a wonderful experience.
Chile is a fantastic country to visit and with their help and attention to detail it was all the more enjoyable. We always felt confident that we were being looked after and supported by experts.

The planning and guidance from Jonathan and Maria at GoAndes was such a reassurance for my first trip to South America.
We had a general itinerary in mind and asked for a taste of what South America has to offer. The team listened to our wishes and made suggestions to enhance our experience. The destinations were contrasting; the engaging city of Buenos Aires, historic Colonia, stunningly visual Iguazu and the liveliness of Rio, all made for a truly memorable experience.
The internal travel arrangements, accommodation and tours with guides were excellent, there were messages from the team and guides regularly to check all was ok whilst we were on our travels.
Apart from it being a magical experience and opening our eyes to the potential of other destinations in South America; it gave us the confidence that future travel arrangements can be made with an expert team who are flexible to our requirements and budget so that we can explore the continent in more depth.

We’ve had another fantastic holiday with Go Andes, this time for three weeks to Chile, Argentina and Brazil. Everything went to plan and worked like clockwork. The local guides were all multilingual, very knowledgeable and good company.

We loved all the hotels particularly the Terrantai Hotel in San Pedro de Atacama where the staff couldn’t do enough for us. We really appreciated the complementary afternoon tea and evening wine and cheese before going out to dinner.

The trips were all fantastic including the Atacama Desert, High Andes, Patagonia and Iguazu Falls and gave us a wonderful insight into the local culture. We thoroughly enjoyed the Tango show at La Ventana, Buenos Aires and also took the opportunity of a day trip to Colonia del Sacramento across the river in Uruguay, a wonderful experience.

Once again, thank you for organising such a diverse holiday that will remain in our memories forever.

We booked with Go Andes when we visited Chile in 2018 and had no doubt to book with them again on our most recent holiday to South America, when they arranged a fabulous holiday to Peru, the Amazon, Iguazú falls, Buenos Aires and Rio.

A few days before starting our vacation, issues arose in Chile which made it difficult to visit and move about. GoAndes worked tirelessly to rearrange our itinerary so that we missed the worst of the unrest whilst sticking to original routing. The local agents they used were top class with every pickup, drop off and excursion on time and informative. Highly recommend this company.

Peru was a "bucket list" holiday for us. We went to the Travel Show in Manchester and spoke to 4 South American specialist companies and we chose Go Andes because they listened to what we wanted and then worked with us to put together a fantastic 3 week trip to Peru and Bolivia which we will never forget. Jonathan and Maria really listen and care and nothing was to much trouble.

They put together a fantastic itinerary with superb hotels, amazing excursions and a seamless package of connections, pick ups and transfers.

In our last few days we got caught up in the unrest in Bolivia and Go Andes arranged a driver and car to get us back to Peru to connect with our flight home in plenty of time. These guys "go the extra mile" and we can't praise them enough. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them if you're going to South America.

Our “Highlights of Chile” holiday was interesting, informative and impressive.
From our initial enquiry to our arrival back in the U.K. we found Maria and Jonathan to be helpful and considerate of our needs. The holiday was not without its challenges due to circumstances within the country which were not anticipated but “Go Andes” still catered for our every want. We would not hesitate to recommend the company for their individual service and helpful approach. We had an amazing time, Chile is an incredible country, the most photogenic location we have ever visited. Although we were only there for just over two weeks we experienced more than we have in any other holiday, from snow capped mountains to hot springs, horse riding to wine tasting.
Hopefully we will travel further in South America and if so we will not consider any other company.

GoAndes team has been amazing in organising our Peruvian trip. They listened to our preferences and offered great local expertise.

We also had a delay in our outbound flight which meant we had to rearrange our first day in Peru and they have been quick and present even in the middle of the night to help us out.

From the initial enquiry to the welcome home messages I can't fault the service provided by Go Andes. The team in the UK were very helpful in answering questions and putting together an itinerary that suited our requirements. Then, the guides on the ground were attentive, friendly and very knowledgeable.
Hi-lights of our trip, the Howler monkeys near our lodge in Tambopata Reserve and of course reaching the Sun gate to see Machu Picchu at sunrise.

We were 8 friends from South- Africa that did a trip to Peru. We did the Amazon , Cusco, Inca trail and Machu Picchu. Maria from Go Andes was absolutely fantastic she organised everything , our hotels , flights , excursions and transfers everything was spot on. Thank you Go Andes.

In planning our trip to Peru and Ecuador we tried a number of companies but found most were unable to tailor the trip to our liking and were also expensive. Then we contacted Go Andes and immediately found them much more responsive in organising a trip that was what we were looking for, principally focussing on art and architecture - pre-columbian, colonial and contemporary. Hotels were excellent throughout, many of them smaller with good personal service. Guides were professional, knowledgeable and very helpful. And the cost overall came in at a reasonable level.
When disaster struck with one of us suffering a potentially disastrous knee injury 5 days into the trip, Maria sorted things out straightaway, fixing a clinic appointment in Cuzco and rebooking us to a more conveniently situated hotel.

On deciding to go to South America we looked at a number of companies, who could neither arrange the flights we wanted or give us an itinerary including all the places we wanted to visit in Peru, Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. We then came across Go Andes and from the first telephone call with Maria to checking up on us when we returned to UK nothing was too much trouble, All the arrangements including flights, pick ups, hotels and places visited were spot on and all went extremely smoothly. I'm not long home from a great trip to South America. Jonathan had suggested an itinerary based on our chat at the Destinations Show in London back in January. I took his sound advice not to try and cram in too much and Maria made sure everything was organised.
I experienced varying temperatures and cultures - from Tierra del Fuego's Ushuaia (the world's most southern town) to the vibrancy of Buenos Aires and then finally the thrill of the much warmer Iguazu Falls, an amazing end to my trip.
Arrangements were first class and things went smoothly. I was most impressed with how Go Andes liaised with me when Argentinean airline strikes looked likely. They booked me on to a non-Argentinean flight from the Iguazu Falls to get me back to Buenos Aires to ensure I caught my international flight back to London.
I'd certainly recommend Go Andes. Great enthusiasm, care and efficiency.

We booked a holiday to Peru to celebrate my 50th birthday and it really was a trip to remember. Maria provided us with a draft itinerary and then we worked together to tailor it to our exact needs. Maria's knowledge of the destination and hotels was excellent and her recommendations were spot on. We were moving around a lot during the trip and all our transfers and tours were smooth and well organised. Following our fantastic trip to Peru organised by Go Andes two years ago, we had no hesitation in asking them to plan a two week trip to Argentina for us this year. It was a fantastic experience thanks to their local knowledge and attention to detail. Our guides were friendly and knowledgeable helping us see the best of this beautiful and varied country. Go Andes couldn't have done more to help us. They even suggested we must book if we wanted a meal at the famous Don Julio restaurant in Buenos Aires. We breezed past the two hour queue on the pavement to sit at the Chef's table - the best steak ever. Yet again exceptional organisation made for a smooth, stress-free, fantastic holiday. Go Andes discussed our requirements in detail and tailor made a holiday of a lifetime.
A complicated trip over 4 weeks, from deep in Amazonian Rainforest in Peru across Lake Titikaka to the Bolivian Salt Flats including several internal flights and boat trips.
The holiday was as exciting as promised and all the transfers worked like clockwork with the agents and guides doing their very best to make our experience as stress free and interesting as possible.
We have other plans for that part of the world next year and will certainly be asking Go Andes to wave their magic wand again for us!
