apparently they advertise their reviews as a 4.9 star but in fact its lower .
avoid GB if your an owner or renter - they only care about commissions and money . If you run into any problems at all - especially as an owner GB will favour the renter in every case because they want to keep the renter re renting . 0 value of owners at all .
customers will damage your van. - ignore hiring rules. - bring vans back filthily and sometimes with dog hair and then allowed to write anything they want on reviews - GB wont address it .
if you get a dispute - even if the customer has breached your hiring rules - GB will favour renter every time.
not to mention the parking tickets. - the GB contract wont cover you for parking tickets . They are inexperienced in these matters and you be left with problems
Indie campers will give you better care as they are van owners also .
in response to your response - your mediator is not fit for the job they do . he doesn't even understand how cars work . we had one situation ( of many ) that the customer disputed her rental as the van she rented broke down . In fact what happened was a RED WARNING light came on and as per contract terms she must stop straight away or as soon as possible, she continued to drive for 20 more mins until she cooked the engine . she ruined our van . you'd think Go boony would have favoured with us but no - they favoured her , it was black and white .

Your contract is NOT FIT FOR USE when it comes to appealing parking tickets which are listed in the road traffic act . The customers must give certain details manually and sign a declaration of liability acceptance . your go form does not have these items . its like you dont really understand what your doing !

Hello, l hope this will not fall on deaf ears, and you do care about your customers and you had no idea about this particular van . So can you explain why you Goboon and the owner of JY70 KuB, who at the time of taking our booking of this motorhome was very aware of all the damage caused by different people and deliberately held back this information from us. I don’t understand why you and the owner of this vehicle would think this was ok and not too share any information like this with us. SO why was we not informed and been made aware of all of the issues first before the booking was confirmed.!!! Had we been told of the state of the vehicle, we would have never gone near it and cancelled straight away and saved all the hassle and heartache and the great deal of money we have spent and lost. why had you not noticed that the owner had flagged up quite a bit of damages of his vehicle, on your vehicle damage report app. Firstly l don’t understand why you would allow the owner to keep advertising his motorhome. Knowing full well that the vehicle was not fit for purpose. With its badly damaged body inside and out?? Why did you not advise us sooner and still let us go ahead and book this van knowing full well it had some major issues with the body parts of the van outside and inside of van as well. Why was we not informed before we handed over to you a great deal of money.!!! I can’t believe any decent person or person’s Could scam us out of a large amount of money, knowing that you have mislead and withheld vital information from us about the damages caused from previous customers, until the day we arrived to pick up the van. Knowing full well the we were in an impossible situation. We had booked the van for four weeks and had a very early tunnel crossing to catch. plus lots of prebook camp sites to tour around Europe to visit lots of places we wanted to explore. This was a big bucket list dream for us, which has turned into a nightmare. I hope you are proud of yourself’s We pick it up on the 23/3/2026 and brought it back to its owner on the 28/3/2026. And this is why. Problems with the van Couldn’t get our bikes in the back as promised , As the mechanics to make the bed, go up and down was broken. Spoke to the owner twice about how important it was to be able to put our electric bikes in the boot of the van. Owen, the owner of the van assured us, that it would not be a problem . (That was a lie ) Heating and water, wouldn’t work on Electric, So there was very little warm water coming through and nexts to no heating to keep us warm at night. (Another lie ) Door hand was broken and kept falling off. We could glue it back on if we want to. !!!! Fly screen was damaged and taped open so it could not be use. I asked the owner what happened he told me that a dog had ripped off the netting. But if we wanted to have the use of a fly screen on the door, we was given a temporary bit of netting to use and maybe try to fit it ourselves. Also because of the badly damaged side panel on the passenger side, he also left a locker handle that needed fixing back on as well. The mobile alarm system, keep switching on so we couldn’t start the van once again not informed that this may happen. At the rear of the vehicle, there was more damage. on the back bumper which had been taped up with some sort of tape it fell off, on our way to France somewhere. All of this was kept from us until we come to pick up what we thought as advertised as a well looked after and loved motorhome. How gullible were we. l don’t know how you people sleep at night knowing the heart break and stress you have caused us. And of course the money you have made out of it, Enjoy it while you both can. But one day l hope someone will snatch away something that you have always dreamed of doing. and take it from you. I can’t believe how we were so stupid to be taken in by all your lies and deceit. i like that you can send requests and the company follows up on them, in case the owners are not answering. I do not like that if you want to rent several motorhomes, 2 for example, when you pay one of them the other accepted request are automatically cancelled, which is pitty as I sometimes will rent for my father, and he will not make an account, but he comes at the pick up and gives his data in.

Cancelled booking
My first time using Goboony, I booked a specific campervan over 7 months ago, paid the deposit and booked the various campsites for July ( high season), yet without any reason or apology the van has now been cancelled, I am still waiting my deposit for the van to be transferred and also faced with loosing £50 in deposits for campsites.
A very poor experience with very poor communication, they are just a middle man taking the money and just don’t care.

I have emails to prove that the full amount was paid on 7/10. As ur own rules state, NO bookings can be made until an account has been verified. I paid on 7/10 but have emails dated 8/10 and 9/10 telling me that my account was not and could not be verified without further identification.
I explained that I was unable to supply ANYMORE ID and so didn't believe that I had an account, even tho I'd already paid after being told that my account WAS verified somehow.
I was refunded £150 deposit but they kept £486.
Can I upload emails on here???
I have proof by email and u still bs everyone.
I want my money muppets x

Campervan hire made easy!
Booking was very easy after we found the perfect van only 8 miles from where we live after so many choices! Unfortunately though we had to cancel our trip and the cancellation process was very easy, swift and fair given the flexible cancellation fee. The deposit was repaid within 3 days.
When we are able to travel again we would definitely use Goboony.
Disappointing
We booked a motor home a couple of months back to hire for next weekend and received an email this week saying they double booked us and we can’t have it until the following day which eats into a third of our break so is no use to us. Now we have a pitch booked with our friends and nothing to stay in.
