A Nightmare

I set up a donation account for a friend in Gaza, but it was paused as the link failed to connect my banking info. When I requested support, I was asked a list of questions, which I answered. Another agent then took over and asked me more questions, which I answered as well. This continued to happen with new agents taking over, asking some new questions as well as repeating the same questions. Eventually I expressed frustration and asked them to finalize the process. They did not respond. I initiated a new support request through their website, got sent the same questions, then got ignored again. I used direct and respectful language. It was infuriating, especially as it is a time sensitive situation and my friend is facing extreme poverty and starvation. What a nightmare.

Contacted them with a problem about receiving my funding, expecting the usual long winded excuses but to mA surprise it went very smooth. anything I asked was replied in a sensible manner and understandable. The problem was resolve in a few minutes to my complete satisfaction.

If I could give zero stars I would have
In this situation of war and conflict your organisation couldn't make the exception of funding free internet for Iran. A population of 95 million people have been kept in the dark for 2 weeks now and any effort to help them is blocked by organisations such as yours.
What a shame!!

Have a fund pause , the person I’m raising the funds for is having trouble verifying his info for transfers I’ve reached out to OLIVETT Go fund with an email that he does not know his password to his email his wife is deceased due to the tornado in Union city ,Michigan and she did all that stuff for them he’s not a computer savvy person .

I have been trying for two months to…

I have been trying for two months to receive a remaining payment of €120, and I am still waiting. During this time I have exchanged multiple emails with customer service, and every time I get the same answer: there is a “digital problem” and they are working on it.

Frankly, this is unbelievable. Being kept waiting this long for such a small amount feels very unprofessional. What makes it even more frustrating is that this company has already earned almost €2000 from me, yet they cannot resolve a simple refund of €120.

At this point it feels like I am just being kept on the line with excuses instead of getting a real solution. Very disappointing customer service and a poor experience overall.

I was a little concerned when I saw that there was no phone number to call and I had a problem but Leonor was excellent and got straight to the point with the problem I needed I got in contact 3 times with agents but Leonor really got the job done and set everything straight to finish the process and GoFundMe and the page is excellent and we’re really thankful for you guys.

I made a donation and did not notice…

I made a donation and did not notice that I'd signed up for recurring donations. Upon receiving the email I tried to cancel it, following the prompts that were listed. It was supposed to show under "My Impact" and there was nothing there. I waited a couple of days to see if it would show up, nothing. I tried the chat which kept telling me the same thing . I was beyond frustrated and tried chat again, this time getting angry in my replies. This worked to get me into having someone contact me via email. The person that helped was great in that he said that it has been cancelled. Of course there is no way for me to verify this, time will tell. I donate to Road2Recovery as well as GoFundMe and I will say Road2Recovery is much more user friendly and monthly donations are easy to see, where as GoFundMe makes it is to donate but good luck cancelling.

Easy to setup a Fundraiser.
NOT EASY TO GET YOUR FUNDS BACK!

Because your driver's license has to match your bank account. It is impossible to retrieve funds raised! My driver's license has my Full Middle Name and my Bank Account only has my Middle Initial and also contains my wife's name! Therefore after over 3 months, all fund reverted back to the Doners!
BEWARE! Unless everything Matches. You have to open another bank account with what is IDENTICAL to your driver's license to withdrawal any funds!
Their online Chat SUCKS......
