Make sure that you have provided Kinetic with your current phone number and arrange for someone 18 years or older to be present at the time of installation. Otherwise, your appointment will need to be rescheduled and result in a delay in setting up your Kinetic Wi-Fi service.
During your Whole Home Wi-Fi Set Up, the technician will confirm all connections are working both inside and outside your home and install new wiring if necessary. The gateway is set up, then the technician assesses the Wi-Fi environment and makes recommendations for what you may need to optimize the signal throughout your home, such as additional Whole Home Equipment. Once the best possible Wi-Fi connection is verified, they will make sure your devices are signed in and ready to be used on your new network.
Technicians will only enter rooms with your permission. If certain areas in your home are inaccessible or restricted, just let them know. However, be aware they can only certify your Wi-Fi signal in the sections of your home they’re able to inspect.

Absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. Very dishonest, set up service appointments so I stay home only to find that they cancelled and did not notify me. Not once but twice. Tried to chat only to be disconnected because it took too long to climb the ladder to reset modem at their request.This now an area wide problem over the last month and they won't acknowledge.

If I had any other options, I would take them. This is the absolute worst company to have to deal with, rates are increased every other month without notice or reason. You can call and argue with a customer service rep who states “it’s not ther fault and there’s nothing they can do about it” for hours until they eventually offer you a $10 credit (that expires) to help with their $24 monthly increase.

On 02/05/2026 I called & talked with Krysta about changing my date my bill is due which she did, however, I asked if my bill would be going up due to having to go to fiber optic & was told NO, but my bill went up $15.00. So instead of $80.54 I'm having to pay $96.00 or $97.00 dollars a month!!! I'm on a fixed income & can't afford a high bill!!!!!

If I could give a 0 review I would. Intermittent internet service for the entire town. Terrible customer service. Frequent price changes. They make cancelling such a hassle it’s almost better just to use my phone hotspot. Do yourself a favor and find someone else…anyone else…hell, smoke signals would search Google better than this service.

Better think long and hard about signing on with this company. We're a 2 year customer and everything was hunky-dorry for the first year. After that their signal started fluctuating and we would lose service. The last week has been terrible. We lost service for longer periods of time. When we went to cancel we were met with a rep that was combative. I would rate this company lower than a 1 star.
