Abroad plan is deceitful

I'm a long-time customer at Golan. I switched my phone plan from a basic local one to the plan for calls/internet abroad for 100 ILS /mo the day before I left abroad. The plan promises 10 GB for 45 days, image below. However, after only 2 GB of usage while abroad I was asked to pay another 100 ILS on the spot to get 1 GB more only. How come? It turns out that in the plan description, if you read the small letters, it says that you get 10 GB for 45 days but only 2 GB of those 10 for the first 30 days of your stay abroad.

A clear scam that's presented in a deceitful way to customers who could've easiy bought a local SIM abroad for much less... Never gonna subscribe to that plan again.

If I could give this company -15 stars…

If I could give this company -15 stars I would!! We were charged for an entire year for a service we did not use. When I was finally able to get hold of them (prepare to spend a few good hours waiting) I closed the line and paid all fees due- I was assured that the account is settled and closed and that I will not hear from them again and owe them nothing more! Then, out of the blue, we get a letter from a lawyer stating that we owe them money, which was not communicated to us when we closed the account (I repeatedly asked if all debts were settled). I have spent the last hour and a half on the phone with them trying to resolve this and it seems to be going no where! STAY AWAY from this company, absolutely the worst customer service and company I have ever dealt with!!!

Worst company!

Worst company!! Be careful they will chase you even if you paid your bills and cancel service. After paying the extra fees they send to lawyers who chase you too. Be aware!!

Exceptionally bad.

They are exceptionally bad.

We tried paying our bill to them on their website, on the phone multiple times and it took hours to succeed.

Then they sent us a letter to pay our bill which included the wrong phone number.

Absolutely worthwhile to pay more for a different service.

The only reason they get 1 star is bc I can’t give them 0. They are a bunch of thieves and will always try and get money from you and put you in a corner which you can’t get out of unless you take legal action.

Golan is the worst telephone company in…

Golan is the worst telephone company in all of Israel. it does not even deserve one star. I had the worst time with them for the past year. they have the worst customer service imaginable. it is hard to get through to the manager and to log into your account. every month there is a new issue and they charge more money and you spend hours on the phone and in person trying to fix your phone. completely not worth your time. go to another phone company.

It is impossible to get a hold of them

It is impossible to get a hold of them.
I have been trying to reach them by phone *0058 for a week! Previously I have asked for a call back 3 times and guess what? Nobody called me. I have trying to get a hold of them waiting on the line. After 35 minutes, the call simply dropped. What kind of customer service is this?
Ugh, so frustrating.....

Bad customer service

No problem with the phone as long, but really bad customer service. I left Israel on May 30th and went to Egypt, not knowing that Israel's website were blocked in Egypt. Therefore I could not reach Golan Telecom to cancel my account, after Egypt we went to Malaysia, and Israel's website are blocked in Malaysia as well. Therefore I paid for 3 months without using the service. I thought they would understand the situation and refund me since they can see that I did not use the phone since May 30th. After explaining that it was impossible for me to reach them and disconnect the line they say they understand but it's their money and they keep it.

The best mobile company in Israel

Golan Telecom is by far the best mobile company in Israel, I have always gotten the best deals and the best service.
After a lot of bad experiences with companies such as Orange, Pelephone and Cellcom, Golan just came to offer the best deals and the best customer service.
