Waste of Money - Rude Staff

We booked a coach trip to enjoy the Cotswolds, but the experience was extremely disappointing. The driver got confused and we ended up wasting around three hours, which meant we only arrived at the villages once it was already dark.

Delays can happen, but what made this worse was the company’s attitude. The staff were rude and dismissive, and instead of offering a proper solution, they only offered an extra two hours — which was pointless, as we had already missed the main beauty of the villages in daylight.

They refused to provide any refund, and didn’t even offer a genuine apology.

Definitely avoid at all costs.

extremely poor service driver was horrible

extremely poor service driver was very rude, started swerving everywhere smallimg the luggage doors, being impolite took us the long way around

Would not recommend this company id rather pay extra than travel with these people

Lack of Communication and Professionalism

I made an enquiry online regarding minibus transportation and received no follow-up. When I called to chase this up, I was told the minibus was no longer available and that a colleague had mistakenly quoted the wrong price. However, I was then told – in the same conversation – that if I paid a fee immediately, I could still book the van. I proceeded with the payment, and the invoice was sent over promptly.

I followed up to confirm whether the driver would be waiting for us, as we would have luggage that needed to remain on board. It was only after 9pm that I received a response informing me that the driver would not be waiting. I replied the next morning to ask what our options were and received no response.

I had to call again and was told someone would look into it and get back to me. They never did. After calling again, I was told there was no record of my earlier call, no one knew what was going on, and they couldn't help me.

Now I am in the position of having to inform 19 people that we’ve been left without transportation at the last minute. This experience has shown a clear lack of professionalism, communication, and basic organisational skills. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this company to anyone.

Oxford Excursion - No hiccups

We booked Gold Line for a one-day excursion to Oxford from our Twickenham AirBnB; a minibus for 10 family members. We booked several months before the late June 2024 date. We corresponded with Ahmed and Qaasim both of whom responded quickly and professionally to my initial request for a booking estimate and, then, throughout the period leading up to the trip.

Our driver, Jim, was professional and precisely on-time for pick-up; he drove safely and made us feel comfortable.

Thanks to the Goldline team, we had a great and safe excursion to Oxford.

Only book if you want to be let down

Booked a coach for 4 days of travel around London for nearly 60 people. A couple days before they emailed saying the couldn’t do certain dates and on one day only a smaller coach was available.
Disgusting service and totally unprofessional. Book with these at your own peril

Poor communication

Update on August 10, 2023: Finally the company responded that the updated itinerary "may have been missed on the booking" leading to the error. The company also offered a 10% refund as a gesture of goodwill. Considering the effort required for them to admit that there "maybe" an error, and the 10% refund for goodwill, the company is better than many. Still, it falls short of professionalism in my view.

I hired Gold Line for two trips around London for my family to tour around London. In our first trip on 7/23/23, the driver did not have the updated itinerary (after we paid 200 sterling to change it) and thus took us to the wrong direction. This wasted a more than an hour of precious daylight time. (The second trip was smoother, and hence the 2 stars rating).

I asked Golden Line to issue a refund (of their choosing) and more importantly an apology. After receiving an initial note that they will look into it (and it's now over 20 days ago), I have not heard back from them at the time of writing.

To be fair, the quality of the minibus was good; it was clean and comfortable. The driver was friendly, as it was not his fault for not knowing. In hindsight, we should have confirmed the itinerary too. But given the mistake and a lack of communication (which in my book is even worse), I do not recommend Gold Line.

Excellent service

Booked transfers to airport and collection from airport upon arrival for a group of 18 people. We had 2 pick-up locations with the first collection at 6am on Sunday. The driver arrived on time with a very clean mini-bus. Very high-end. Great service from the driver, who was very good.

We were picked up by another driver with another vehicle which was again very clean and high-end. Again drop-off was at 2 locations and the driver was very prompt and helpful. Very nice and clean mini-bus, very executive. Recommended and will use again for future for family trips.

No aftersales support and horrible driver experience.

I'm not going to lie, their prices are really good compared to the rest we saw for our wedding.
At the initial stages, they were very helpful and without second thoughts my wife and I decided to book with them.

However after we made the payment is where we started to get problems. We needed to make some changes to our booking and tried to contact them via phone and email where we were then told someone would get back to us. It took multiple calls and emails before they confirmed the change.

On the day of the wedding, the driver in charge of the majority of our guests for our small wedding drove harshly and refused to listen to instructions from people that knew the area. Due to this they ended up being 30 mins late and on a road with width restrictions where we've seen larger vehicles go through however, the driver refused to go through it. Instead, he opened the door and made our guest walk 10 minutes through town to the church.

On the way back to the venue the driver was very impatient and kept beeping the vehicle where my wife and I were getting into. Despite making us rush and leaving before us the bus arrived 45 minutes after we did.

At this point, I was informed by our guest that the driver went around in circles, refused to listen to people trying to help him and even lost his temper with my father and my inlaws.

I've since tried to sort this out with Gold line executive travel. I've reached out to them via phone, email and their complaints/feedback site. Despite being told they would get back to me it's now been over a month and have heard nothing.

Since then we've hired busses and other vehicles from other companies and they all seem to know gold line executive travel by their cheap prices and their poor service.

I guess you really do get what you pay for.

Excellent service great customer service

I was let down by taxi code very badly and had to source a car 24 hours before my daughters wedding to take her and myself from the hotel to the venue. I rang Friday afternoon and Carina was extremely helpful and advised they could supply a car for the required date and time. I sent carina an email and she promptly replied with drivers details and pictures of the car. She also rang me Friday evening to say the driver had changed and she had sent me an email with the updated details on. The car arrived 10 minutes before the pick up time and was courteous and pleasant taking his time to get us to the wedding. Many thanks carina and the driver Zakhir

Great value, excellent service

The booking experience was very straightforward and staff were helpful in identifying exactly the vehicle we needed. The driver was polite and punctual and was extremely helpful throughout the day and the trip. The value for money was excellent.

Great Service!

I would like to thank Goldline for their great service!
They were fast at attending to my online quote.
Both Martin and Carina accomodated my requests and I had complete confidence when placing the booking. The driver on the day communicated with us and gave us his number to stay in touch in case our plans changed. I would highly recommend them.
