This company sold me items that were…

This company sold me items that were misrepresented. Luckily, my friend knew the owner and got it resolved. I had written a negative review and posted under the review that the company had made it right. They hired a criminal company called "reputation md" to harass me into removing the review. I have refused. It appears they try to harrass me on a regular basis but it isn't working. The review will never be removed. As I as reading more about these people, the article stated that other customers have been harassed by these people. That is a pathetic way to do business. Here is the article I found on another site concerning them:

Gold Standard Auctions has received numerous complaints regarding misrepresented coins, payment issues, and unsatisfactory refund practices.
Key Complaint Areas
Misrepresentation of Merchandise: Several customers report that coins purchased from Gold Standard Auctions were advertised as high-grade collectibles (e.g., MS64, MS65, BU, GEM BU, investment-grade), but independent grading by NGC and PCGS revealed most coins had impairments such as cleaning, polishing, environmental damage, or were even deemed "Not Genuine" for some items. In one case, a buyer returned 26 coins but received refunds for only three, resulting in a documented unreimbursed loss of $45,906.10 (BBB, Trustpilot)

Payment and Billing Issues: Some buyers have experienced difficulties with payment methods, including sudden refusal to accept credit cards for high-value purchases despite prior acceptance. Others reported confusion over how to pay for auction wins, with limited or unclear contact options (BBB, Coin Talk)

Customer Service and Resolution: Complaints indicate that Gold Standard Auctions often requires full returns before considering refunds, and some buyers feel that proposed resolutions were incomplete or unsatisfactory. Extended communications sometimes failed to resolve disputes, leaving significant financial losses for customers (Trustpilot, BBB)

Mixed Customer Experiences
While many complaints exist, some customers report positive experiences, citing fast shipping, accurate descriptions, and responsive service for certain purchases. Reviews on LiveAuctioneers highlight smooth transactions and satisfaction with specific auctions, though these are interspersed with reports of overpayment, shipping cost concerns, and occasional misdescriptions (LiveAuctioneers)

Summary
Gold Standard Auctions has a pattern of complaints primarily related to coin grading discrepancies, refund disputes, and payment issues. Prospective buyers should exercise caution, verify coin authenticity independently, and carefully review payment and return policies before participating in auctions. Mixed reviews suggest that while some transactions proceed smoothly, significant risks exist for high-value purchsers.

AVOID this company! It appears they will never operate in an honest manner and fight back when people complain. 54 BBB complaints in 3 years tells the story.
