These people relieved me of a hugely stressful problem, and did exactly what they said they would do. They got me the price they said they would, which was a very pleasant relief, bearing in mind how some other people like to talk and not deliver. I reached out to Good Move with some…

I reached out to Good Move with some hesitation, anticipating low offers and a barrage of sales pitches. However, my experience was completely the opposite. Ollie was incredibly helpful, laying out our options and explaining the process in detail. He patiently addressed all our inquiries and presented a fair proposal for our property. At no stage did we feel pressured. Unfortunately, our bid on the next property didn't succeed, so we didn't move forward this time. Nevertheless, we'd return to you in the future if necessary. Fantastic service

After being left in an awful situation by my ex partner - I had limited time to sell my home. I cannot praise the work that Oliver Zee has done for me. Dalia went above and beyond – truly exceptional

We were purchasing a flat that should have been very straightforward, as there was no chain. Unfortunately, multiple complications arose along the way (none of which were the fault of the estate agent). Despite this, Dalia at GoodMove was absolutely exemplary throughout the entire process.

Dalia consistently went above and beyond, advocating and challenging situations to achieve the best possible outcome — not only for her client (the seller) but for us as buyers too. She was professional, friendly, passionate, knowledgeable, very experienced, completely reliable and trustworthy, and incredibly approachable at all times. When solicitors were slow to respond, unnecessarily difficult, or not fulfilling their obligations, Dalia was often the voice of reason and common sense, keeping things moving and pushing for progress.

It has been a long battle to get to this point, but we are delighted that the purchase has now concluded, and that is largely thanks to Dalia’s hard work, persistence, and constant chasing. She has been brilliant from start to finish, and we are extremely grateful for everything she did to help progress the purchase.

I genuinely cannot recommend Dalia at GoodMove highly enough.

Avoid at all costs

My Dad is getting on and decided to move in with my brother and so decided to sell his house.
Start of December my Dad contacted Good Move and was given an offer of £125k, and they said a surveyor would be sent round to do a "quick" evaluation.
The evaluation wasn't quick but a full survey taking over an hour.
As I hold power of attorney I was dealing with the solicitor, Warning hidden in the terms and conditions of the solicitors is that if the sale falls through you are liable for all fees.
Good Move sent a demand to my Dad that his identity needed to be confirmed by the Credas app, Dad doesn't use a smartphone and I live 150 miles away.
I contacted Good Move and the solicitor explaining this and my email was ignored after I tried to use the frankly useless app that required my Dad to be present with the phone with the app.
10 days later someone from purchasing phoned my dad with a rude "you did it wrong" even though I contacted them and the app came with NO instructions.
This was on the Friday before Christmas and the person handling the sale (Can't use names in negative reviews only good) was moaning to my Dad that the solicitor was on holiday until the 5th January.
5th January and GoodMove was contacting my Dad again (not me as requested) and was definitely starting to use pressure selling tactics and that the "completions team" would be in touch.
They contacted my Dad yet again and the completions team slashed £40k off the initial offer for a laughable £85k.
My Dad was in the Doctors surgery and said he couldn't talk but they were taking the mic.
Then Good Move starts texting my Dad with a load of flannel saying that the housing market has gone "soft" and that there's no call for properties.
Tell the Government that they seem to he throwing up quick enough everywhere and Serco/Capital are buying up properties for Hone Office contracts.
I had an uneasy feeling when they constantly ignored me it looks like they get you on a hook with the computer generated figure that all Estate agents use then there's the boiler room who's job is to fleece you.
I will he contacting trading standards AND the Ombudsman as this is shady business practices at their worse

Update someone from GoodMove phoned I assume due to a negative review on trust pilot and now as I have given a negative review they try and get it removed for naming a staff member yet a load of the 5 star reviews breach that rule but is ignored

Will be complaining to Trading Standards as well as everyone of the trade bodies they are a member of

In Response to GoodMove, please do not make out that I am follwing a "False Narrative" I sent on the 13th December to @GoodMove.co.uk informing your company of the power of attorney so not "weeks" as you put it in fact the low ball offer of £85k was on the 7th January. Your company was the one dragging their feet not me.

So at your company wasn't either checking their emails correctly or your companies email isn't set up properly and email boxes aren't being checked by the recipiants named in the emails. Not very professional either way.

I can't say who is as you can name people on a 5 star review but 1 star reviews are tried to be removed on Trust Pilot for identifyin staff members. So the company is guity of Astro Turfing.

And saying I am follwoing a "false narrative" is insulting it is your company who wasn't either checking emails or I was being ignored.
I am giving you a chance to remove this otherwise I think a visit to my solicitor for deformation is in order.

We’re sorry that you’re disappointed, but your review presents a misleading narrative that omits the key reason this transaction could not proceed.

The sale was halted because we were informed weeks into the process that the seller was acting under a Power of Attorney. As a matter of policy and legal prudence, we are unable to purchase properties where a POA is in place, particularly where there is any risk of the property being acquired at undervalue. The Land Registry can refuse registration in such circumstances if there is a concern that the attorney has not demonstrably achieved best value for the owner. Had this been disclosed at the outset, the transaction would never have been started.

This late disclosure unfortunately wasted time on all sides and resulted in abortive costs which we absorbed in full, contrary to your claim. No fees were charged to your father.

Finally, we note that your Trustpilot profile shows a long-standing pattern of one-star reviews across a wide range of unrelated companies, frequently alleging bad faith, misconduct, or regulatory breaches. While we respect your right to leave feedback, this consistent pattern suggests that dissatisfaction may not always lie solely with the businesses involved.

We wish you and your father the best with the sale via an alternative route.

Following the sale of my home via…

Following the sale of my home via goodmove I felt it right to provide a possitive review. Not something I do often either I am hard to please.

That said, my review of 5 stars is majority for the patience, customer service and understanding of Katy whom managed the mechanics of my sale. Katy was always on point, very knowledgeable and always happy to help. My head would have fell off without her support.

Being an honest review, my sale took much longer than initially expected by goodmove, this was not of their fault and of the buyers solicitors essentially not pulling their fingers out. What I must share though is that in response to this good move accommodated my needs to ensure I was happy because of the delay so hats off to them for that.

Would I recommend, well it is down to your personal circumstances and need for a quick sale, if that is a relentless sale manager whom takes no mess and is all over everyone then Katy is your gal supported by the goodmove team to make it fly through. No questions.

Good Move delivered the figure I agreed to

I had a generally positive experience with Good Move. The team were professional, responsive, and easy to reach throughout the process. Communication was clear, and the overall process was mostly explained.
It wasn’t completely transparent, however. A few details only became clear at a later stage, rather than from the outset — for example, the difference between the price the property is sold for and the final amount received. That said, I understand the reasons behind this, and I want to be clear that Good Move did deliver the figure I agreed to, so there were no surprises in the end. While this didn’t change the outcome for me, it is something future sellers may wish to clarify early on so they feel fully informed from day one. For transparency's sake - nothing else.
Overall, the process was smoother and far less stressful than a traditional sale. I recommend Good Move to anyone who approaches the process with realistic expectations of the market world we live in.

Dalia, Jessica & Katy who case managed: their sale/my purchase from initial contact to completion

To reiterate our last communication, a huge thank you ladies, and to wider team equally, nothing was too much trouble, all very polite, respectful and appeared happy to help

Timeliness of process could have been improved upon, however solicitors, searches and issues with titles all contributed somewhat, tbh I’m just so pleased you all helped make it happen with final push to achieve todays agreed completion date, all in time for Christmas, bring on 2026 now super excited to turn this old house into a home

Proper professionals, totally exceeded expectations

Phoned Good Move with some trepidation expecting to be low balled and plagued by follow-up sales calls. Could not have been more wrong. Spoke to Ollie who took us through the options available to us and how the process worked, patiently answered all our questions, and made a fair offer on our property. Absolutely no pressure at any point. Sadly our offer on our onward property was unsuccessful so we did not proceed this time but would certainly come back to you in future if needed. The property is being marketed by your estate agent at an asking price of £38,995 and is currently SSTC. Our best offer was £30,000, which is approximately 77% of the asking price, not 50%.

Our service won’t be right for everyone, and that’s absolutely fine, but we do feel it’s important that the numbers are represented accurately.

I would give 10 stars if it were possible.

From the outset, my experience with Good Move was very positive, even over a prolonged and challenging period caused by a stubborn tenant who was reluctant to vacate the property.

Throughout the process, Sophie handled the sale with the confidence and professionalism of someone who has successfully navigated these situations many times before. She consistently put my concerns at ease, kept me fully informed with regular updates, and took the initiative whenever progress appeared uncertain. Just sold my house using Good Move with…

Just sold my house using Good Move with Katy at the helm.
The whole event was dealt with superbly and the ever cheerful Katy was a delight to deal with.
A great thing about Good Move is the lack of "for sale signage" outside the house so the street does not know your business, I like that. All the agents who arrived for the viewings were really nice folk, and the paperwork I needed to do was again brought to my house and done there and then, no hassle at all. So all in all a potentially stressful thing like selling your house after 30 years was made a darn site easier because of Katy and her team. Many thanks all of you
