Anyone manged a refund from Halifax on a debit card?

My brother ordered Eminem tickets from this site for August, he checked and the website has now been closed down for fraud, he is absolutely devastated beyond comprehension after having a really tough time this was he treat to himself and my other brother and to find out it can't happen and he will be lucky to get more tickets is even worse, so to try and at least ease the detestation, I'm trying to get his money back for him from the bank, has anyone who have experienced the same from these arseholes bought the apparent tickets with a debit card banking with Halifax, and been able to get a refund, we have a crime number. If anyone can help that would be great!

Ordered 3 tickets for Coldplay

Ordered 3 tickets for Coldplay, Cardiff 11th July. This was 8n January. £445.

Emailed them in March and got a response stating the tickets would be shipped 10 - 14 days before the event.

10 days before the event I emailed again but the email bounced back. The website was not working anymore and phone line was disconnected although the 0800 answering service was giving menu options.

A quick search on Google found the Action Fraud article advising it was a fraud so I reported it to them.

I called my bank on the day of the concert and they refunded my money 3 days later so all credit to them but goticketsuk are utter scumbags and I hope they get what they deserve.

There should be a minus stars option

There should be a minus stars option! The website looks genuine, the hotline answers professionally -at least the machine does, because I was never answered by a human!!!!-, the prices are not much cheaper than anywhere else...absolutely nothing to give it away. I bought 2 tickets to see U2 Joshua Tree on July 9th 2017 in London. Never got the tickets, never got a reply back to e-mails, FRAUD, SCAM, BOGUS, THIEVES....it was meant to be a special surprise for someone I really care for, whose favourite band is U2. I am heartbroken and even ashamed of my 'surprise'!

Awful experience

Awful experience, I bought 2 U2 tickets for Dublin for myself and partner as a surprise for him.
I Attempted to contact them via email which bounced straight back, I couldn't contact their sales hotline though got through to their so called customer service helpline whom said they send tickets out 2 weeks before the date, so i contacted them 2 weeks before in which the helpline was no longer in use.
Contacted Action fraud and given a crime reference number to provide to my bank in the hope I can get my money back.
Now in hope we can get some genuine tickets elsewhere as have flights and accomodation booked.
Unbelievable how these b*****ds can get away with this!
I just hope people see these reviews before experiencing this.

Hey Everyone

Hey Everyone, I´m writing to say that I was also scammed by this MFs... Bought 2 tickets to see Foster The People at 100£ which never arrived and never had an answer back from the company, Luckily Lloyds refunded me on my Debit Card within 3 working days I was very glad with the Bank but so dissapointed as Me and My Wife were going to celebrate our marriage aniversarie on the the gig which we have never been to and will not be for a lilltle longer now thanks to this company that should be punished and diserves 0 stars, I´ll never again buy a ticket if not from ticket master or the oficial event website better not to get the tickets than to get just a hope for them.

Thieving Manc b******s.

Thieving Manc b******s.
I am just echoing what everyone else is saying about these crooks: paid £340 for 2 tickets for U2 next Saturday in January.....booked a hotel, car hire and afew days off work to hopefully have a day at Wimbledon as well.....a bloody expensive trip with no help from this lot. Rung Greater Manchester Police and Action Fraud too in early June and managed to get 2 more tickets from Viagogo pretty sharpish. Should be sat on stage with Bono for what they've cost and these fraudsters will be caught eventually and just very sorry to all the people who've been conned out of alot of money and a trip to see their favourite artists.

Fraud..no tickets...no company

I bought my Coldplay tickets in May. I checked the website and feedback it all looked ok. Like everyone else, no tickets by date they claimed I would receive them. Now No email, no telephone!
Fortunately I paid with cc and refund was immediate.
I will report as fraud so others don't go through this nightmare
Agree with others they need to be found and punished.

Like nearly everyone else on here I've …

Like nearly everyone else on here I've been duped too! Bought Bananarama tickets for November 23rd.
Spoke to my bank - Halifax - who were fab. I paid by debit card and they said until the date has passed and I haven't received the tickets, call back on 24th November and they will process the refund, which normally takes up to 3 days. They provided me with an incident number so that I don't need to re-explain when I call later on. Not ideal being £208 out of pocket but at least I know I'll be getting it back. Oh and went on to buy better seated tickets from ticketmasrer for less money!! So im actually quite pleased 😊 but hate these scammers for what they've done! Karma has no deadline 😊

SCAM!

Supposed to be seeing Linkin Park in 3 days time at the O2. Guess that wont be happening as I dont have any tickets.

Smelt fishy when I tried to buy the tickets online and recieved an email saying my bank had refused payment. Within minutes I had someone calling me from a supposed American number asking me to try again. Struck me as odd that they would bother to call me with plenty of other people eager for tickets and they were able to to sell the tickets for £70 each. Other sources were selling them from £80 upwards
They referred me to a website to enter my details again. Looked legit. Received confirmation emails.
Going to try and get my money back from the bank. Fingers crossed they are considerate.

I booked the tickets for Linkin Park coming up on 6th July. I rang numerous times and each time the voicemail said they were too busy or completely disconnected my call. Every email I sent bounced back. The bank won't take any action until the gig's date had past.I have a strong feeling the tickets will never arrive.

Avoid these con scumbags

Avoid these con scumbags - Booked Adele Tickets, for July 1st - no tickets arrived and absolutely no contact with Gotickets, quick enough to take the money though!
Reported to Actionfraud and Credit Card Company, who are looking into it all!
Just Avoid anything to do with GO TICKETS, TSWSTORE, KINS PAYMENT, KT DIRECT, GOTONLINE or the MD Michael Dorman.
