Some of the dishes where very nice…

Some of the dishes where very nice currys sweet and sour and biryarmi. Couple big down falls for me all the veg comes loose in bottom the box any fruit battered and bruised. The Menus 4 from 5 say use clove of garlic you get 2. Cardamom seeds all loose whybnot just pop these in bags so that's the food. Now order 1 came as expected but missing garlic then you asked to choose your nect I opted to miss this 1 and chose the following week so week 3 on the Tuesday so week 2 a box came chiefs special as I had not put order in so I took it and went on the app and cancelled my subscription and the 3rd week order low and behold week 3 turns up and monies taken the day before so thanks for this I now have so many meals that I can't eat them as I have cancer of esophagus can only eat small meals so each meal does me 3 meals hence why I opt to skip week 2 so sorry I won't use again and if you do please be very careful what you order and when you order it as anything may turn up ........

Another product that doesn’t embrace single people

No recipes cards for one person and sometimes the ingredients come in packages that need splitting for one person. Yes, it says use the App for one person, but that doesn’t offer the same accessibility as it does for couples/families.
Not impressed with fresh ingredients like salad leaves that have arrived twice as already slimy on arrival.
Still within the delivery window, but DPD always came early in the day, Evri scraped in at the end of the day.
Not sure I like any of their Summer options which aren’t filling. May just stick with Winter options or may not continue.

Gousto meals

Chicken breast portions are very small. Some recipes say put the oven on for one item eg salmon fillets, it’s a waste of power. Please provide air fryer alternatives to conserve energy.

Outstanding customer service

Outstanding customer service from Guosto online chat. It has been some years since I have experienced this level of service. Promptly resolved my issue that was totally my own fault. Can't thank them enough. Great product and great service.

They take your money even after you’ve…

They take your money even after you’ve cancelled your subscription. I had cancelled 2 weeks prior to this order . They refused to cancel it because they said the order was created before the cancellation? The week before went through the cancellation though. Doesn’t makes sense. Do not set up a subscription with them or they’ll take your money even if you cancel in plenty of time .

Missing ingredients

After having a couple of minor previous issues ie missing recipe cards and late deliveries. The latest box arrived with missing ingredients and no information or alternative, only when I went through the app to log an issue was I offered £9 discount off my next box. I will probably not order another so a refund would be better.

We gave it a go for a trial period

We gave it a go for a trial period and initially we thought it was good. This week, however, we received black mouldy pasta which was in date until 12 Aug 26. We did highlight to Gousto and there only reaction was to offer us a £2.50 credit? Considering the whole meal was ruined and to receive goods of this quality was very off putting. We gave it a go but not for us. We’ll stick with Hello Fresh where we’ve had no issues fresh produce.

All the meals are very tasty and delicious. I have very happy with all the meals I have orders. I recomend them to everyone.
